Hi! I'm in Atlas Park and I have been told several times to go to Galaxy City. I tried going through Perez Park, but the police wouldn't let me through. I'm level 5. Help!!

Okay, another stupid question: it says "Next Stop: Steel Canyon South" and won't let me on the train?

Are you in the door in the center of the station, or the one on the right? The center is the only way on, the other door is the exit.

Aha! Click it was the thing to do. Thanks!

Also, for future reference in getting around, the 'City' tab on the Map will show the zones of the city, and the connections between the zones ( gates and yellow / green line train routes ).

Any time you see the mouse turn into a hand it's a sign that you are hovering over something clickable.

To the OP.

ROFL!

I did the exact same thing first time I played!

I couldn't get into Perez Park because I was only level 4 at the time. I checked the maps and saw the the other zones around Perez Park were way higher level than I was. Saw the icon on the map for Yellow Line and saw the yellow line leading to the different zones and reaching Galaxy City and determined that must be how I get there.

So I get to the train station and see the scrolling marquee and it said Next Stop: Skyway City and so on. So I sit there waiting for Galaxy City to scroll across and when it did, there was no train in the doorway. So I sit there. Meanwhile, I see other players run up to the doorway and disappear inside. I kept thinking to myself they are very lucky to catch the train they needed right away.

After about 3-5 players doing this, I decide to experiment, approach the door and when the mouse cursor goes over it, it changes to a hand. The train destination menu pops up and one of them was Galaxy City.

Boy, did I feel stupid.

What's worse, it took me until my first level 15+ character to figure out the actual mechanics of how to buy and sell at Wentworth's. I couldn't figure out how to actually place a bid. I understood I had to do so, but I couldn't figure out "how" to enter the amount I wanted to bid.

Also, for future reference, the trains are a bit funky at times, and sometimes it won't let you click on it while the doors are already open, and you'll have to wait for the current train thats there to leave.

And just for the curious, the 'next stop' message, while completely pointless now in the game, has to do with the trains originally not having a menu... you'd have to ride the train from zone to zone, not being able to skip directly to your destination.

Didn't you have to actually get off the train and get on again to advance to the next stop?

Wow, that must have been extremely tedious and annoying. Glad I missed it!

When I16 goes live, Ima gonna pop some popcorn, put my level 50 on hover and watch the Aggro Dodge of Death as level 1's try to navigate Perez Park.

OMG That is going to be my player event in celebration of I16!!! You have to go from Atlas to Galaxy using Perez Park and you have to go through the park, not around it. Whoever gets there first wins lol.

I seem to recall running into that when I started in Issue 3, TBH.

Yeah, well, we had the hollows.
"No, go around the edge and watch for mobs!"
"But we can cut through the gulch..."
"And the trip back from Atlas hospital will take longer. Trust me."
