Not at all. I play on the same server as you and never have a problem finding a team now. That wasn't the case when AE farms were running. At that time I couldn't ever find a team that wasn't farming.

I don't agree with you. It's never been easier for me to find a team. Then again, I don't farms so that could be your problem.

If you were to send me a team invite with the way you are acting here, I would say no even if I was looking for a team. You just don't want the same kind of team I want.

I was one of the people that cheered when AE farms were killed. I hated that the largest non-AE farm team I could find was 6 people. Now it takes less than 5 minutes to build an 8 man mission team. Things haven't been this good in months.

Now as for the RPers. I only have one thing to say if you don't like roleplayers standing around roleplaying. Leave Virtue! Just because you think RP is stupid doesn't mean that others can't enjoy it. If you join the Unofficial Roleplay Server, don't complain that people want to roleplay instead of teaming with you. I have 3 accounts of full of toons I run missions with and I roleplay when I'm tired of fighting. If it wasn't for the RP, I would have quit playing this game back in 2006. I had run every mission in the game, had done all there was to do and grinding to get levels just wasn't something that interested me. RP got me to stay because I never know what will happen next.

If I am required to join any team that sends an invite, I know what I will do. I will leave the game. Let's face it, there are people out there with play styles and personalities that I don't want to be around. I shouldn't be forced to put up with that when I am paying to play a game. If there is some reward I want, I'll just be sure to join people that play the way I find fun.

It's easy to no know what you speak of. I don't have a problem finding a team on the same server as you. If I don't have any trouble, then the problem you are having must be something else.

Sorry, I don't see anyone here that is with you. The choice to team or to solo is the players. You have no say in how others enjoy their game.
  2. Seeing as they have been giving players extra stuff since the game launched (Starting with the DVD Collectors Edition) and it hasn't done any harm, I don't see what the problem is. All you get from them is QoL items that are not needed to play the game. Selling things like salvage would be a problem because it's something that players can sell ingame. That would make it "he who has the most money has the best stuff"

That's all you are going to get if you submit it as a bug report. Basically you are telling them "Hey, I found this problem. Just wanted to let you know about it." If you are stuck, you will not get any help if you use the bug report.
  4. The reason it's there is to keep people from TPing their friends into the Tiki Club when they don't have the pass to get in.
  5. I hate to be a downer on an otherwise good idea, but I have to say no to anything that would spread out the already small PvP population even more than it is. If all the PvP zones were linked across the servers, then I could see this working.

I would like this as well, but who is going to pay that poor guy (or girl) to stand there and wait for you all day?

Also if it was account-wide you could store inf. and then get it with another toon, or with another toon on a different server.
I like being able to store salvage. I put the items I need for recipes in the vault so I don't sell them by accident. On top of that I don't want to fill up my WW/BM slots with stoarge. I need them for the stuff I'm buying and selling. You can hold 2 billion inf on a toon. How much more do you really need to be able to hold? I have yet to see anything that would require you to have more than that. As for the account wide access, I'm going to leave that dead horse alone. It's been beat enough already.

What I would like to see added is storage for recipes. The base IO storage isn't an option to me anymore after I had an otherwise good teammate take 10 sets of Halloween salvage because they wanted the inf they would get from selling them. Never again will I put something I want to keep in open storage.
  7. I would stick around to see what happens. That looks like it would be fun.

After playing this game for as long as I have, none of that would get me to team when I don't want to. There are very few (if any) missions that I haven't done several times.

If you ask me to join your team and I'm in a mission, you can wait till I'm done. Get someone else if you don't like that. I really don't care. I don't owe you anything and I sure don't have to join you just because you ask.

There is more to this game than just trying to get levels. It takes me months to get a toon to 50. I don't see a need to rush. I team when I want. I badge when I want. I hang out with friends when I want. It's my time and my money. Don't tell me how I should spend it.

    Battle Arena.

I wouldn't fight against it, but I wouldn't use it. I just worry that it would be abused by farmers till the Devs nerf it to the point that you get nothing being there.

Virtue had a problem with that during the AE farm days, but now that the nerf has killed the farms we don't see people acting like that much anymore. I see it much more often when I play on Freedom. The thing about new players is that they are new. It can take time to learn where everything is. If you don't like to have people ask where something is, you should stick to the lower population servers.
  11. There was a zombie attack on Virtue last night, so I'm not sure if this is happening on all servers.
  12. If you are worried about out-leveling arcs, you can turn off XP in the options.
  13. At least I was nice when i changed my colors. I used darker colors that didn't blind people but were still light enough for people to see that I used them (they are darker than the stock colors choice.) I had a bad experience with someone that thought all powers should be neon colors and as bright as they could be. Most of the team left after one mission.
  14. This is the time of the year that things get a little quieter. People are back in school, or some are trying to get that last vacation in before it gets too cold. With that said, I have had more team invites since i16 came out that I haven't noticed. SSK has made it much easier for me to join teams. Gone are the days when I had to switch from a toon I wanted to play just because we didn't have a mentor/exemplar.

That said, I could see a PVP reward weekend or something going in, but I don't really think there's much likelihood that it would change the amount of people in the zones. And those that do come in will probably be farming for the recipes. I think you'd need a much bigger carrot to entice to population in- so big that it would probably be unfeasable.
I have watched how the non-PvPers have acted in the past. They expect to be able to do as well in PvP as they do in PvE. When they lose, they complain that the system is broken and demand the Devs fix it. This is how we got PvP2.0. When I first trying to PvP, I got no help from the PvP community. For six months all I got from anyone was "lol" when I would ask for help. It took help from an SG friend before I learned the basics. Even now I wont go near a PvP zone unless I know someone there. It's just not that fun to be mocked when I lose (I know I will lose but I don't care as long as it was a good fight.) I would love to see PvP more popular, but I don't see that happening. Someone needs to want to PvP or they will leave with such a bad experience that they will never go back.

Please no. The last thing it need are more non-PvPers going in and complaining that they don't have a chance to win in a fight against people that know how to PvP in this game.

    Well several suggestions actually.

    1)
Couple of new costumes, namely the Rularuu Overseer, Rularuu Brute and Rularuu Whisp as costumes.

    2)
Now the Halloween salvage has one function, to gain an extra costume slot, I propose an additional function, after you've traded in for the extra costume slot.

Once you've traded in your second set of salvage a reward screen pops up, similar to those with the Vet reward sands of mu or Ghostslaying axe perma-temp choices.

On that reward screen is a list of all the temp costume powers you've had through trick or treating, you get to select one of those costumes as a perma-temp costume for that character.

This is balanced between the Con temps because while the con temps are awarded on a per account basis, meaning all characters will have access to that one costume, the halloween trade-in perma-temps will only be for that character and that character alone, if you wanted the same costume on a different character, you'd have to trade in two sets of halloween salvage again.

I would kill for a perma-temp Rularuu Overseer costume for one of my characters.

So devs, any idea if this can be possibly be made to work, come on, it would be awesome...
I love the idea for #2. I always enjoyed ToTing, but hated that my costumes would start timing out before I could get them all
  18. I'm afraid I'm one of the people that left Guardian... Granted I did it years ago when all of my SG there left to play CoV when it launched and they never came back. Last time I checked, I am one of three people still playing from that SG out of the 25 or so players.

They don't happen very often so I'm not worried about them.

You can blame that on people turning in Halloween salvage for a costume slot. The Devs just didn't turn off the chance of zombies after Halloween.
  22. It looks to me that they finally updated the packaging. The red one still shows Tabula Rasa and Dungeon Runners (Now free to play till they shut the servers down.)

You can turn off XP if you are close to out leveling a contact. You can also use the flashback system in Ouroboros. It's not a perfect way of doing it, but you do have options.

There is always room for improvement. People are always sharing their ideas for the PvE game, why shouldn't we do the same for PvP?
  25. I wish the lvl50 IOs would just scale down to the level you are exemplared to. That way you don't get the higher bonus, but you also don't lose all the bonus.
