    Hmmm, not sure that's right:

    http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Kinetics#Repel
    http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Shields#Against_All_Odds
    http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Shields#Phalanx_Fighting

All are PBAOE's that count the number of characters near you. Repel calculates end based of targets hit. AAO calculates damage off targets near you and PF calculates Defense off allies near you.

I'm not really in favour of this change as I think the Devs would nerf the recharge to the same time as the buff lasts at least. That means that if you die early in the buff duration you have to go without. As a ST buff you can have it straight away. I also can't see them allowing it to effect he caster.

Mission Transporter is great, I use it occasionally, but the very slow recharge rate has prompted me to seek other transportation solutions, and most of my toons have a base with enough transporters to allow me to get anywhere pretty quick. But you're right, it is a good solid bonus-pack power that I overlooked.
I use Corva's icon pack, which solves that issue. And I always put it in the same place on toon creation.

What level are you at? I found I was busy at lower levels but once I got to 30-35 ish I had more time on my hands and could start smacking a few people myself.

The main points that bothered me where:

    1) Only a looser takes Absorb Pain
    2) Only a looser puts Healing Aura on auto

I've only created one defender with empathy and I do both of these things. I did a bit of research and when I started this character I decided that she would focus on her primary. The only attack she has is the one that I had no choice in taking. She is completely useless except for her ability to keep everyone else alive and moving.

Healing Aura on auto: I'm usually quite busy with other things to want to worry about manually using this power. For example, I am busy cycling through each of my team mates and using Clear Mind on them. I can usually keep Clear Mind doubled up on every member of the team, the only one that ever gets mezzed is my character.

The same holds true for fortitude, which I usually reserve for scrappers. I have it now so that I can keep this on at least one team mate continuously and almost on two continuously.

Having Healing Aura on auto allows me to concentrate on those that need the extra healing and not just the buffing (Heal Other, Absorb Pain, Resurrect)

Absorb Pain: lets face it, sometimes a team mate will suddenly go from full heath to near face plant before you can react. Yes, I've taken this but I try not to use it except in emergencies.

The only thing I agreed with in the conversation was not running after team mates that separate from the group. I stay with the main group and place myself so that my auras cover as much of the group as possible. If someone decides to run off in a different direction I'm not going to leave the main group vulnerable to pull one characters bacon out of the fire.

So, am I doing this wrong? Am I really a looser because I take Absorb Pain and put Healing Aura on auto?
1: Absorb pain = Good. Situational, don't use it too much, but good. Huge Heal, will pull a tank up by his bootstraps if in trouble.

2: Healing Aura on Auto... I don't. I use it if peoples health needs topping up, otherwise it's wasted End really. I do spam it a bit, but if I'm low on End I can not use it if I have to.

3: Fort, you should be able to get that to 2.5-3 team members, depending on your slotting. My level 40 odd, SO slotted Emp can keep on 2 at all times, with a bit of overlap so I rotate through 3 damage dealers. Don't just reserve to Scrappers, the acc and damage buffs will help everyone even ranged.

4: Not taking attacks... of everything you said this is the biggest waste to me. A good running team shouldn't need too much help staying alive. CM and the RARA's plus fort and AB when they are available should make your life a cruise. Why not contribute with a little damage?

I think that's what he's trying to avoid. They talk everytime you give them an order, with the bind leave petsayall blank I assume the OP is trying to stop that.

You do realise the EU are the only regional servers we have right? That players in South America, Oceania, Asia and Africa don't have their own servers?

Plus, I'm not sure latency is a real issue, at least not for UK users playing on the NA servers, as evidenced above. Where is this information about the telecoms infrastructure coming from? Citations needed please.

I want to say Mids was started by Midnighter and he was an EU player, but I could be wrong. The about section has a list of the guys developing it and the copyright for it.
  9. Yeah, I'm a tad confused. People in Korea HAVE to play on the NA or EU servers, as to Kiwis and Aussies and anyone else in the world as they are the only 2 options. As for Latency, people who have both NA and EU accounts generally report BETTER connections to the NA servers than they do to the EU servers.
  10. Yeah, sure. But who is s/he talking too on that phone? No Cell towers, no other cell phones. Don't buy it.

I took that to mean without the recipie. If you still need the recipie, then yes, I agree that you should be able to do this, although maybe only up to a max of 1.5 of a full charge maybe.

On your second point, I'd be fine with some indicator on charges left too.

I don't get this attitude... you don't want to run out half way through a mission... so you don't use it. So you may as well not have it anyway.

I have too many of these recipies anyway so if they were going to allow us to recraft without the recipie then they have to reduce the drop rate to 10% or so.

Not really fussed either way. Don't see a need for it personally.

    Pets Request

Even just the ability to target though another character, the same as we can do, would be a boon.

    Eco.
If she saves the costume in the tailor it should appear in a costumes (maybe, can't check right now) folder in her CoH install folder. If she emails you that you should be able to put it into your costumes folder and load it.

Once again Bill is being very rude when he could simply say 'no, and heres why:'

All mine unlock at 30 with 3 powers chosen from the pool:

Stealth: Placate. Same as Stalkers although with a higher endurance cost and high recharge.

Fighting: Quivering Palm. Low Damage stun attack. Mag 3 for x seconds.

Flight: Bombardment. Strike an enemy causing AoE damage. High Smash damage. grounds flying targets.

Medicine: Stimpack. Boost an ally's damage, damage resistance and recharge by X% for y seconds. At the end your ally loses 10% of their endurance.

Leadership: Synergy. Very High endurance toggle that boosts all nearby ally's recharge by X%. Very High as in: over 1.5 before endurance reductions.

Presence: Poker Face. Toggle. Masks your feelings towards your enemies. Gives 1.0 mag protection against Holds, Immobs and Stuns.

Speed: Double Time. Instantly allow the use of a single power regardless of recharge (certain powers would be exempt of course.) That power costs twice the endurance and has it's recharge doubled after use.

Super Jump: Slam. Slam the ground causing a large AoE Knockdown and Stun. Long Cooldown and endurance cost.

Teleport: Spacial Tether. Instantly teleport to your target, who's within the same zone. Moderate Recharge. Accuracy counts towards enemies, based off of Ranged and Psionic Defense.
I think I like these more than the OPs in most instances. Love the sound of the speed pool, however it sounds like a coding nightmare. Would also rather see a quick use combat teleport power than your last one.

Maybe for the 'con' of combat teleport is a recharge time. Make it so you can't use it to pop in and then out of a fight.

As to the OP, meh, your suggestion is over the top, but having the second secondary open I could deal with. Do I feel it's needed...? not really, but do I care enough to argue..? nope.

Out of curiosity how much are the super boosters? I've got them at £5.99 on the EU site, which I put at about US$9.50. Meaning that, assuming the post saying BP said this will be US$9.99 is correct, the only difference between a Super booster and a normal booster is the name.

Regular emotes, auras and regular not so special costume pieces: no. Those costume pieces and auras should be free for everyone. The microtransaction crap with this game is beginning to get out of hand.
Yeah, sorry, thats the worst idea. The boosters generally provide NO substantial gameplay effect (ninja run is the reason generally is in there, it's overpowered) and are take them or leave them. If you don't like the costumes you don't have to pay more. Simple.

You add serious powers to the mix and suddenly to get the full game play effect you HAVE to buy it. You think people are unhappy with the boosters now wait untill they feel forced to get them.

Like how we only get Candy Canes during the winter event, or Costume Salvage during Halloween.

How it works is you get a message from a special contact that lets you know there is a special mission he needs your help with. Just like we get here about the Baby New Year, and the DJ Zero's Valentines Day Event. The difference here is that you can't do those mission all year long.
Yeah, I figured they were permanent additions, but cool they are adding additional standard arcs too. They way you describe it, sure, I could be up for that.
