Quote:Easy now. Some people who play this game are older, have vision problems, or just have poor performance computers. I see no reason to go to insults over it.I totally don't get why people don't want speed boost, its +rech AND +Recov for Christ sake, guess they are just too slow to be able to control it. But i guess some people just don't think fast enough, it's not like they can help it. It's not like the CHOSE to ride the short bus.
All the recovery and recharge in the world won't help if you can no longer control your character, regardless of your reasons. -
I won't be around in the evening, so I'll need to log in and park my butt in a cave map somewhere that I won't get logged out forcefully.

Bots are different.

Well, my Demon/Dark will now become the Demon/Thermal I wanted.

Quote:This.Probably the most survivable build possible would be a stone armor/dark melee tanker built for mitigation.
It would be...durable. And almost unplayable. Immortality has a severe price.
The next best thing is a Dark Armor tank. It can be built to have no real weakness. -
You need a MFing Warshade.
My warshade was far and away the most fun experience I've ever had with this game. -
Quote:Thanks for this. It's proof that my rules are doing their job of making it fun for everyone. If the rules weren't working, DKTF wouldn't be spreading. After joining a couple TFs that you've led, I've sort of taken these rules into my own teams as well. It's much more fun and relaxed that way when everyone can just play how they're comfortable playing without some arbitrary structure that can step on any one person's toes. I can't remember the last time it's failed me.

You already know I'm in, but I might as well make things formal. Have I got an evil bastage for you.
Character: Rashidi's Bane
Brief Background: Let's rewind a couple thousand years. Pharaoh strikes a bargain with Set to have his most trusted bodyguard protected by the sands of Egypt. The downside to the deal was that Set got to create an "equal and opposite" force to compete with the bodyguard. Set did this because he can't just give away those kind of powers for free and because chaos happens to be his favorite pastime. You know, the guy likes to kick back, have a few drinks and watch a city burn. Is that so bad?
Anyway, you're probably wondering why the Pharaoh would accept such a risky deal. There Pharaoh added his own caveat to the bargain: The "equal and opposite" would not be a threat so long as the Pharaoh and his sons sat on the throne.
Not long after the deal was made, the Pharaoh succumbed to disease and one of his more ambitious advisers usurped the son. Oops. -
Quote:I'm saying you don't need to add any slots to stamina. So, 2-slot Stamina for End. Mod.? One slot End Mod., one slot Performance Shifter? Should I do the same with Black Dwarf/White Dwarf? As it stands now, I have it 4-slotted: 3 End. Mod., 1 Resist.
Also, that's a terrible slotting for dwarf. The end mod that dwarf provides is not worth enhancing. The performance shifter proc is worth including, because it will essentially double the endurance recovery it grants with one slot. And I'd devote at least two slots to resistance. -
Quote:I agree that dwarf form is the end hog. I know my warshade used to feel this way before inherent fitness. I had one Performance Shifter proc in dwarf form itself. Endurance was a concern if I was locked in dwarf form to tank for the team, but I don't think I could call it a problem.I kinda, slightly disagree. I've always found the Dwarf a bit of an End Hog in longer fights (say you're the main tank for a PuG fighting an AV). I'd certainly consider slotting Stamina with one extra slot and sticking an EndMod IO in there along with a Performance Shifter proc.
Now that we have inherent fitness, I put a second Performance Shifter proc in Stamina. Not only is Stamina alone giving me more endurance than I had before, but I've doubled the procs up when in Dwarf. Now endurance isn't even a concern.
That's why I'm saying you shouldn't add slots to it. Endurance in dwarf was sometimes problematic, although manageable, before fitness worked in forms. Now that it does work in forms, endurance is no longer a problem without enhancement of Stamina. It's already a large boost to recovery on its own. You can get about 40% enhancement from a single common IO or just throw a proc in there. I see no reason to add slots to an already slot tight kheldian build. -

TA/Elec is a great combo. TA on its own is really good, what with all kinds of debuffs. Combining it with elec means the defender can always light his own tar patch and that he can stack holds with Ice Arrow.
-
Please read his suggestion before making comments. He didn't even write that much. He specifically wanted these levels to not stack with the ones from Destiny and Lore.
He's not asking to have more level shifts. He's asking to let us get level shifts from T3 Judgement and Interface if we'd rather get those first.
I still don't agree with the suggestion. -
I really like this line of thought, although I don't quite agree with the exact bonuses you've suggested.
In my opinion, both forms should get some sort of auto power team buff. If balance is an issue, then like Grant Cover, the buff can only be to teammates.
I think the buffs should be different depending on form and kheldian species. My idea ties in closely with the inherent.
For example: Bright Nova is an offensive creature and grants this offense to its team in the form of added recovery and a damage bonus. 10% and 20% respectively.
White Dwarf excels at protecting its team. Not only is the dwarf itself very resilient, but its aura protects the team, granting regeneration and resistance bonuses. 25% and 12.5% respectively.
For a warshade, these bonuses are reversed in position. Dark Nova grants the protection to its teammates while Black Dwarf increases their offensive capabilities.
The way this works, I think PBs get the better end of the bargain, especially if the bonus will apply to the PB himself. That's ok, because I think they need the buff more anyway. -
I have it for two reasons.
Trip mines placed on the toes of enemies are often times hilarious.
Eradication is a great set to get a huge health bonus in four slots and some great E/N defense to boot. -
Quote:You're getting there. Gravitic Emanation is a stun, not really a damage dealing attack. You'll get a lot more mileage out of Stupefy than you will Positron's Blast. And the bonuses are almost identical.Ok here is what i got after suggestions. At the moment if I am not mistaken even without any recharge ench in it, eclipse is perma (with hasten and incarnate) but i am not sure about it if its true though i prefer a suggestion on a set that i can put on it.
Here's what I'd do from your last build. I swapped the location of your Steadfasts, and changed a few minor things.

It's not terrible, but there's certainly some room for improvement.
Eclipse should really really have some resist enhancement. Try frankenslotting to make sure you cap your resist/recharge and then add a twinge of accuracy. You can even save slots this way.
Health does not need any of the uniques. Inherent Stamina with the base slot is more than enough to cover your endurance. Save the two slots here.
You can also drop a slot from Hasten. The third recharge slot isn't doing much for you.
Drop a slot from Dark Nova Bolt, probably the damage/recharge. The proc is nice there, but you don't need all the other enhancement values for this power.
Gravitic Emanation is an incredible power, much more useful than Inky Aspect. I suggest swapping these two powers. If you like Inky Aspect as well, that's fine, just remember it doesn't need any more enhancement than the base slot. A common accuracy IO is the only thing Inky Aspect needs.
Stygian Circle really benefits more from End Mod enhancement than Healing.
Black Dwarf Drain can get by as it is since you will have Mire for accuracy, until you're left with one boss to defeat. You might be ok with that.
Personally, I don't think Dark Nova is worth the extra two slots just for a +1.5% health bonus. Keep the stealth proc, but save those two other slots.
Ok, all those slots you saved can fill out Quasar some, but I'd also suggest adding some resist and a Perf Shifter proc to Black Dwarf. Gravity Well could use a touch of damage too. -
Right right. I promise I'll get to it tonight sometime after I get home from work. I became much busier than intended last night when I said I'd look at it. There is absolutely nothing for me to do tonight, so I foresee no problems.

You don't understand what's going on. We don't want less influence personally, we want less influence in the game. What drives prices high is the sheer amount of influence available. If anything, the market playing people are helping prices by removing influence from the game with the consignment costs.
