I'm not sure why you think they can kill a level 50+1, I struggled to get them to attack my level 50 at all. After Taunting them they would either attack once then stop, or just run away until tethering kicked in. My theory is that Particle Burst is somehow granting a temporary power and that's what has the 95% to-hit chance and that's why the game is forcing you to roll. I did manage to get hit once but I was so surprised I got hit that I didn't think to look more closely.
Having a damage proc in Taunt makes testing this that much harder. -
Advice #1. Keep trying. There's no trick to it.
Advice #2. Don't necro threads. -
I had a piece of wall geometry covering a stairwell up to the roof of a building inside a mission (specifically, this one). Had to have a GM move me to the roof manually.
EDIT: Just experienced the exact bug you described. I'm going to /bug it, hopefully I can get a petition through and have a GM fix it. -
The Silence have turned out to be a pretty massively disappointing enemy. They didn't really do anything in the past 2 episodes except be there and be all scary.
That last scene however...

I'M AN ALTAHOLIC!! I'M ADDICTED TO ALTAHOL!!!!
I've got a wide level range of characters in 18 slots in my home server (5 level 50s), and just a couple weeks ago I came up with 4 new characters I want to roll when I get new slots. Making it even harder to pick a character to focus on, especially now with Incarnate content (thankfully I don't even play 2 of my 50s anymore). -

So no PvP AVs this year? Bummer.
My mastermind still needs Recluse's Inner Circle, and that's pretty obviously not going to be happening in the actual PvP zones.

Quote:Simple* solution, just disable XP and possibly rewards altogether.Effectively, this is the same as a "make me level 50" button. A level 1 character (or level 25, if you keep the same restrictions as we currently have) could just play at level 50 until they actually become that level -- no need to play through lower level content, ever.
Seems like a bad idea, to me.
*standard code rant -
"Cabal" is banned. If you write an arc specifically about the Cabal, you can't refer to them by name. It's not a new problem either, I first discovered this a couple months after the Architect went live.

Quote:So you're saying that in order for us to get access to her costume, Mother Mayhem would have to lose hers? I'm not seeing a downside here.Signature NPCs are usually designed to have signature costume parts, never to be made available to players. Unfortunately. (I'm not particularly fond of MM's costume, but there are other NPCs I want to steal clothes from.)

I didn't even notice that there was a sound to League chat. In fact I thought I saw somebody mentioning that there should be sound to it. Is this new with the latest patch?

Just IDF specifically so far. I figured we'd have gotten the pieces by I20 given how long ago it was announced, I'd be shocked if they're not in I21.
Like I said, they're supposedly looking at other enemy groups, I would expect (and hope, for a specific character of mine) that Carnies would be at the top of that list, but that's just personal preference. -
You're seeing lookalikes because everybody is using the new costume pieces. If the devs introduce newer pieces, those will be the new shiny, and everyone will be using those.
We're supposed to be getting IDF armor pieces, I would guess next issue, and apparently the devs are also working on converting enemy group pieces to be usable by players. -
Nope, they haven't been active in years. The devs disabled them for unknown reasons.

At the very least, if the powers are to be truly unavailable inside Pocket D, the power icons should be greyed out so you can't even click them. When you forgot that the teleport doesn't work, you waste an activation, which either leaves you waiting for the cooldown, or losing a charge in the case of the Market teleports.

I had heard from the get-go of Issue 20 that the Trial fails if Marauder leaves the yard, but I've never seen this come anywhere close to happening with the door open. I assume the only way it happens is if some moron deliberately taunts him out.

I'm mostly perplexed by how you managed to spell "Lambda" correct in the thread title but only 1 out of 5 times in the body of your post.
Anyway, this is a good beginner's guide. I've seen a lot of people just go willy-nilly (good god did I really just type that) on the grenades/acids phase and that's kind of frustrating. Early on in I20, I failed my first few Lambdas because Marauder would hit Unstoppable and we ran out of grenades as a result, and didn't have time to get more. This seems like it's less of an issue now that people are unlocking their new Incarnate slots and putting -Res procs on top of all of their powers (just as an example), but admittedly I haven't really had the opportunity to play much. -
Sounds like a pretty wild misinterpretation of the actual events that occur in the SF. I've only run it once but based on the text in the wiki article there's nothing that even remotely suggests this.

No offense, but is it possible you're getting kicked from leagues because your RPing is disrupting gameplay?
You should expect to die, at least once. More if you're a squishy. I would be shocked if you're getting kicked just for dying, if that's the case then you need to find a group of not-insane people to play with. -
Given the ridiculous number of temps older characters can have, I wouldn't be surprised if many people look and just don't see it. It's a massive pain to check.
The revision of the Powers tab is another matter altogether and is definitely a QoL issue that needs to be addressed. -
I was split between Gravitic and Diamagnetic on my Elec^3 Blaster (the latter fits the concept better, the former fits game mechanics better), ended up picking Gravitic for my tier 1. Can't give much feedback so far but we'll see.
je_saist makes a good point that you can craft multiple powers, but unless and until we are given the ability to break down already-crafted powers (even if it's not a 1:1 breakdown), that will represent extra time which to some players may be prohibitive. -
Anyone know if the WST rewards for Posi this week are for either part or both parts? (If the answer is "For Old Posi only" I will begin harming people.)
