I've never really quite understood the "timing" of when awards like this get triggered. It'll probably work the same vague way Vet Awards seem to work. For me I sometimes get my Vet Award around noon of the expected day. Other times I have to wait until like 9pm of the given day. There never seems to be an exact time which always seemed really weird to me somehow. *shrugs*

I'm betting the Devs would not set that stuff to go live until they were at work and settled in. Considering it is still only 8:15am Pacific time (as I'm writing this, of course), we probably still have a couple hours.
It doesn't currently matter to me since I'll be at work for the next 6 hours, so as long as it is up by the time I get home, I'll be happy!

Not sure they did a maintenance today. If there was one it was finished early because I checked the servers this morning when I thought it was going to be down and found I could log on. When I did thinking the vanguard stuff was active I found it wasn't.
Don't know how long ago the switch was flipped but I just logged in and I have my Vanguard stuff now.

While I was checking the loyalty emotes I found that Heroic one is borked for me. The Hero Star doesn't appear under the feet. Instead I'm getting a distorted square. The other three work fine.

Like I said earlier in the thread awards like these have always had this strange habit of randomly "trickling" out to the playerbase over the course of a day. Why they couldn't just make it work at a set time like "at 2pm PST all players will get award X" has always puzzled me.

Pure screw up again. Why some have it and others don't is just stupid.
I was going to start a thread about a flaw I discovered with the Vanguard Pack, but I guess here is as good a place as any to post about it.
Because I'm a curious sort, I decided to see if the vanguard items that some of my characters haven't bothered to unlock yet were still showing up in the Vanguard table, and behold, they are, as well as the costume change emote sigil.
I foresee many a beefed players as they unwittingly spend vanguard merits on things they already have.
Can we please get the items to self remove themselves from the Vanguard Table List if you already have them, just like how they work when you actually purchase them using Vanguard Merits please?

I didn't receive any notification upon re-logging, but "The Constant" badge was at the top of my "Most Recent" list, which was a good sign.

Especially when the game already does this for me, except for this vanguard pack for some reason.
If I had only a single character, then what you say makes much more practical sense. Also, if you tend to take long breaks from the game, I wouldn't expect people to remember every little thing their character has gotten over the years.
I hope this clarifies the perspective I'm coming at this problem from.
