People ask for this occasionally. I believe the conclusion was that it would be too stressful for the game and/or servers?
-
I was having the same feeling on my War Mace Brute, but I ran HeroStats and everything added up. I reached the conclusion that it was purely psychological; War Mace attacks hit so hard that you really notice when they miss.

Yes, arcs are worth merits in Ouroboros (not the single badge missions though).

Deep in the bowels of Grandville are non-targetable 3 Omega Bombs waiting for an unsuspecting explorer. They aggro at a pretty large distance and will start floating towards you, exploding in what appears to be melee range.
I think he can hear you, Ray.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Edit: Looking at the map, they're in the stretch of tunnels leading out from the main island to the Fab. -
It bears mentioning that the Teleport issue is a known bug that everyone is experiencing.

But people who don't play AE content regularly are still high and dry. It's not trivial to get the salvage you want if you don't have any tickets and want to stay out of the AE building. You're right that player behavior needs to be corrected, but the aberrant behavior here is people playing content that doesn't drop rewards. I16 should correct this as the farmers go back to regular content so they can farm for purples.
-
It's also part of a newer set, so less supply to begin with, compounded by the overall decrease in supply since I14.
I wouldn't bother trying to roll for it, you'd have to be extremely lucky to get it. You're better off rolling Bronze and hoping you get something you can sell. -
I tried running in Ubuntu on a 7600 and it runs, but graphics quality is absolutely awful. Many advanced graphical features are outright disabled.
You can try it, but I wouldn't bother. -
Another option is to check the server's global channels, many have servers where people will announce various activities (teams, Task Forces, badge hunting, etc.). You can find these by right-clicking your chat window and selecting Channel Search.
But to echo Tricia, Virtue is your best bet for finding RP supergroups. -
Quote:Nope, he's Super Strength.<QR>
Statesman is actuly not Super Strength he is Energy Melee I know that seems odd but iv been hit by him a few times and them red pom poms are hard to miss :P
In addition, the Wiki lists the powersets of all the Freedom Phalanx on their respective character pages. -
Do you mean extra power trays? Right click part of the tray that doesn't have a button on it and you should get a popup menu. Click Close Tray.
You get these extra trays by clicking the "+" sign on your original power trays, underneath your inspirations, to the left of "Recipes". -
If I may jump over to the dark side for a second, I'd like to see some sort of change for the following redside Defeat badges (among some others that come to mind):
- Visionary: 100 Rularuu bosses, somehow. There's a handful of missions where you can farm these extremely nasty bosses. Easiest way to fix this is to grant villains some manner of Shadow Shard access.
- Legionnaire (Warriors), Regenerator (Trolls), Weatherman (Outcasts): These badges are a freaking joke. Legionnaire forces you to go to Siren's Call to farm bosses, Trolls only appear in newspaper missions, and Outcasts only appear in ONE MISSION. Solution: expanded spawning, accessible to all level ranges. At least you can Flashback for the Outcasts...
- Untouchable/Gangbuster: My main issue here is how unclear they are. Last time I checked the only way to know which badge the boss you're fighting corresponds to is to check their info for a mention of the Marcone family (Gangbuster) or the Don (Untouchable). Considering Untouchable isn't available blueside, maybe its requirements could be changed.
- Devourer of Earth: I haven't seen it mentioned yet and this applies to both sides. 500 DE eminators, only slightly less ridiculous than Illusionist due to how pervasive DE are.
- Kill Skuls: Yeah, this is ridiculously easy to get blueside once you've sufficiently out-leveled Perez Park. Some of my best memories on my Blaster are kiting crowds of "Skuls" and melting them with Ball Lightning. But it's another miserable one to get redside (no clue how I managed this on my Mastermind, I must have farmed it along with Bonecrusher, another unreasonable badge for villains).
- Ski Chalet Skiing Badges: Ease up on the times? Pretty pwease? (Note: Not entirely serious, but these ones were murder for me on one toon and my other badger still doesn't have them all.)
- And finally, Fabricator: I'm jumping on the bandwagon for this. 10k is crazy. Considering the last 4 badges in the series double, 2000 would be much more palatable. Hell, even 5000 would be more palatable.

How about Power Sink? It drains targets, but it also buffs the caster's endurance. Who does the proc affect here?
-
Yeah, that would never happen in the real world.

First thing, LotG: Recharge isn't a set bonus. But let's address your original question -- yes, set bonuses apply all the time.
Next, LotG: Recharge. That's a global IO enhancement. Its bonus always applies, regardless of whether or not the power is on.
Then there's procs. These are generally the ones that say "Change for Regen/Recovery/Damage/etc". Those only function (with a given probability) when the power is active. If it's a click power, the proc has a chance to trigger every time you use the power. In a toggle or auto, I believe it has a chance to trigger every 10 or 20 seconds (for toggles, the power has to be on). -
Quote:Tell me about it. Look what happened to my poor Enforcer after being caught in a Lab Equipment explosion.don't use ragdoll physics for one reason or another.
I've seen {and put} enough baddies jammed in walls, doorframes and war walls not to want to experience it for myself.
He just hovered there in that position, slowly bouncing around but otherwise immobile. I had to dismiss him and resummon. -
ICK, NO. Fake ads are fine (Chris Jenkins, attorney at law), anything else is intrusive on my gameplay experience. I'm not playing this game so I can have ads for sneakers and energy drinks tossed in my face.

A comment on #2, Villains get Patron Pools (unless your implication was that the Epic pools are better than the Patron Pools, in which case the argument could certainly be made).
And yeah, I have to agree with SwellGuy (and who wouldn't, he's just so swell). Brutes don't tank, Corruptors don't blast, Dominators don't control, Stalkers don't scrap, and Masterminds don't do whatever hero archetype playstyle you might try to pigeonhole them into. -
...A brand new poster is staging a forum popularity contest?
-
Sounds a lot like how IO set bonuses work, except those (generally) aren't tied to any one particular power.
-
-
Is there any way to expand this thing like on the previous forums? It's still too small for my liking.
