This right here ^^, KB is good for solo blaster that want to keep the enemy at range, however, most blaster secondaries require you to be in melee range. As for corrs, personally I know I am not a good support character tried defenders and corrs and I am just not good with them but I could see how that KB could be a problem like with /rad a lot of those debuffs require the foes to be grouped, kinda defeating the purpose if you are knocking them all away. Honestly though I think KD would make the set a lot better for all ATs that have the set. You can enhance it and turn it into KB if you want to.

Couldn't disagree more.
The correct answer isn't to dumb down a powerset's secondary effect completely, removing usefulness for solo play just because some lesser skilled players can't make it useful in every situation.
I soloed over 80 levels in Energy Blast on a Blaster, and LOVED every minute of my KB, really helped my survivability.
The fix is this:
Lower the KB, so that if you're teaming (hunting +4s for example) you're doing KD instead of KB.
If you're soloing, and hunting even-con, or +1s/+2s, you're still able to get KB (players can "fine tune" this with a KB enhancement for example).
Not everyone groups exclusively (ok, maybe the "plz PL m3h!" crowd), so don't change the powerset in a way that would negatively effect the soloist, or someone who plays both ways. There should be a way to manipulate the level of KB to convert it to KD if the "con of the spawn" is high enough level.

That is kinda what I meant. Really KD isn't anything but a low mag KB, so with KB enhancements you can make it more KB than KD or if you like the KD you don't have to add a thing, and as said before not really gimping yourself with slotting because of the way inventions work you can maximize KB and still have your other stuff. -

And boring, I can't stand my /FF troller, they take forever to kill something solo, so I can't even imagine it on a defender. I mean don't get me wrong on a team /FF shines, mine pratically gives the whole team softcap defenses, but solo, I will put it this way, if I don't find a team within like 25 min of playing that toon I go to another. Mez protection is not a reason to play an AT or certain powerset. With the way insperations work you can always have some sort of BF available. -
Day Job powers in itself are like free pool powers.
And the temp powers from the weapons deal side mish from the bank jobs are nice too. -
Umbral in your build you had Health, Stamina, and Drain Psyche, wouldn't drain psyche be enough.

The last AT that needs an APP is Blasters. Scrappers are well overdue for another APP.

Show me in the AT description where it says that this AT is a villain or evil. Just because it is in CoV doesn't mean that you have to be a Villain, I have some undercover heroes in the Rouge Isles. And personally if I were going to create a Batman type toon I would want him to be in the Rouge Isles as it fits the Batman Begins background setting.
Edit: Batman could be considered a reformed Villain, remember in the Movie he was arrested for theiving, and learned most of his fighting techniques and skills from the Bad Guys.

Couldn't have been EBs becasue I took on Nem as an EB with my Bane and it was almost cake no temps and maybe one purple and one green, the purple is a possible but if I popped that I am not sure if I did the green. -
I have 53% ranged defense and making room for more and I have like a good 34% on AoE, plus I have smoke grenade at my disposal plus a hold and plenty of tools to keep foes at range.
Enemies that are 0, +1, and +2 I don't think I am touched, higher than that I usually try to hold the boss or any enemy that can mez and usually I don't get held unless I am on a big team. -

Yeah I wouldn't mind getting an Accolade that gives like a perma 5% or 10% regen and recovery boost or an Accolade that gives the same effects or half as the Numina's IO if that wouldn't be too powerful but I think that would be a good idea.
And to the OP, your idea is not bad, just a little bit OP for some, I do agree with the Vets that creating a toon and getting like 2-3 extra stamina on top of being able to get like 25 more easy badges from exploration it would be a little easy to make end not an issue anymore, however, maybe like 1 point per 50 badges would be nice, but if I had the choice I would like that accolade better. -

With good ranged defense and proper slotting on any of the Immobs I think you should have no trouble with EBs, or you could use purples and reds and go to work either way EBs don't really pose as big of a problem as you think they do. -
KB it's a part of the game, unfortunately some people don't like it most, like me, don't care. It is just a game some people take it way too serious. Don't worry about it if that is the first complaint you have had in a while of playing then it will be a while before the next one. Just as long as you are doing your job (blasting things) and controlling your KB, it shouldn't matter.
Don't worry it was your first but surely won't be your last, even the best of Energy Blasters get that comment. -

Claws/Nin is Batman perfectly, and I think the Widow claws are not that noticable so it looks like you are punching them. Nin is perfect secondary for him. -

The good thing about the optional content like inventions is that they can be used to fill in big holes. My Blaster has about 54% ranged defense, with a good bit of AoE defense, and some melee defense. Just as long as I keep foes at range I am good, I solo on Unyielding with no issues.
When it comes to IOs build how you want, if you want to survive build for defense, if you want to kill build for damage and recharge. -

QFT, if an AT can't solo PToD I don't think it is broken, if an AT is having trouble soloing mishes on villainous/heroic then I would think there is some room for improvment -

True, but the way IOs work it isn't really that had to soft cap any AT, I have a Blaster with 56% ranged defense.
As far as a VEAT comparison, according to most as far as self defense (i.e. defense, resists, self heals, etc) Banes apparently are at the bottom of the totem pole (Something I personally don't agree with, if you are going to call an AT broken the least you could do is show your build, that is why I don't take most of these people seriously). -

When slotted for damage you get about 300 damage per target and 50% chance for 400, plus on top of that you get an extra 26% added damage to the next couple of attacks. I would say is it worth the 4 sec cast time. -

This one actually (in my experience at least) has a sliver of truth to it. I played a controller before Overpower was introduced and when I hit a boss with Mezmerize and Dominate back to back they would be affected by whichever I used second (the sleep seemed more reliable this way)
I don't, however, know if that was supposed to happen, or if there was a bug that was causing any mez to stack with any other mez.

I didn't know what surprised me more that fact that he didn't know about the power itself or the fact that he was a Tanker frequently using RotP, either way as a blaster I did not feel safe. -

You'd be surprised...I'd hate a pure toxic primary or secondary. Devouring Earth and Tsoo resist in fiercely, Undead types in Vahz and BP, guns resist it INSANELY, try taking out a firebase when your powers do 10% damage....
Forgot that the undead BP resist psi as well above.
Fire is the least resisted, far as I can tell. Almost no faction resists it in general blue-side beyond the Hellions. Behemoths and not much else.

Don't underestimate the power of slow, most foes have limited ranged attacks, slows do a good job of keeping the enemies at range and slowing down their limited ranged attacks so overall you are taking a lot less damage, and well if you are like me with over soft capped ranged defense that is a whole other story lol.
