yeah try to get someone you know to help you transfer your influence like an sg mate or a coalie or someone from ur global channels that you have worked with and have some level of trust. Worst comes to worse ask a level 50 toon to help you. There are some nice people out there but be careful.

i always say get stamina it is amazing to have it slotted so u never run down below a certain level of energy even durring huge boss fights.

i can see having a broom for halloween and also after the event it being available in croa for a fee or a tf or something like the jet packs with safegaurd mishes.

i love my ill/emp and i have had many people tell me they love ill/rad together.

I can tell ya i am not techy and therefore scared of computer viruses much like ther person in question probably and i have installed every watchfull thing fore mal,virus and other id theft and mal ware and i have never had anything happen or come up in my computer in the 21 months i have been playing this game. I hope it works out and u can interact with ur son while hes away best of luck to ya

My first 50 was around nine months to get him to 50 and i played maybe a couple hours a day six days a week.

I love helping new players to the game. it is a main reason to have an sg is to help those who really want to enjoy the game. I hate seeing all the people who have 50s and 60s vet rewards shunning new players or making cracks at them and even 6months and up vets do it. When i joined city of heroes almost 21 months ago there were a few very nice people that helped me and there were alot of posers and aholes that made me think twice about joining certain sgs because ofhow people acted. Karma is amazing once you get the wheel rolling now the person u help will help someone else and it will continue

Heya welcome to paragon well as a empathy nut that is always my choice for those who like to support and heal. But also rad and dark are good for defenders and if u ever try a controller check out thermal rad it has shields and heals and buffs and debuffs

I hate cold dom and i really hate cold dom when out of nowhere i get some huge ice armor beamed on my toon. I hate that frozen armor and it stays on forever. Bubbles rule cause they are mostly see through

I can say that i had a run in with the Gms over a name change after a year and a half of playing on victory. Without warning they deleted my costumes and my bio and i had sent them tons of petitions before with the toon in question. So i can feel the pain but i went at least ten rounds back and forth and they kept a level head the whole time and they never said anything about deleting a character for a name change. The want to resolve the problem as fast as they can with as little damage to the players playing as possible. Something dosent add up when u say they want this person to delete their toon just because hey got verbal over not wanting to change name. Either way best of luck

Well really its whatever you want to play and welcome by the way to city of heroes i would say having a empathy is always good for healing and buffing so maybe a empathy/anything for defender and a scrapper or a blaster for damage and maybe a tank for tankin or a controller for controlling mobs and secondarys add nice buffs and heals too have fun and make a couple builds to try together until you find one u like

awww i love empathy. But if you want to keep ur defender with empathy i would go archery or dark blast . If your looking to get away from empathy id go rad/dark or rad/sonic

I may not broadcast im a healer but i consider my empath and some of my therms healers. I love healing its why i play empaths and therms. Sometimes people call them selfs damage dealers when they sit and complain they are not getting enough xp while they do nothing and not even move from doorway. I myself dont think my storm summ is a healer but sometimes they get put in that role. I bet you dont say the storm summs are not healers when they O2 ur butt and save ya from dyin hmmm?

Empathy/Psi because it is an amazing build. Love empathy its my fav set in game.

I have issues with warshades. My peacebringer i leveled to fifty the quickest out of my three fifties. Warshade i dont like that i have to take a form for flight. That stygrian circle is a must have for warshades. I didnt get the grav snare cause it really dosent do too much. Other than that i went blasty with my warshade with two inital sheilds and intangible form with superjump. Finally got him to 26ish and still havent felt the love from a warshade yet.

Energy blasters rock that was my first fifty and he had ice manip as secondary. Icepatch with chilling embrace and chilblain can save ur butt. I can see a cyborg android having energy ice. ice could be its internal coolant and energy could be its primary attacks and knockback is very nice with energy blasters with chiblain to freeze um in place.

I lost my job in feb and still think 14.99 is a good price to pay for this game. Its a cheap addiction And for what we get its a very good deal.

I agree that with MA there are a ton of people who leveled very fast but if we were in their shoes back then we would of taken the chance as well. New to the game and being able to level and gain that first 50. I have seen new people and five year vets not know how to let a tank pull or how to play game so i think everyone can improve. Share what you know with the new people without sounding too preachy. I remember when i started level 50s in atlas seemed very cold and some still do calling everyone noob and making people feel uneasy. This game is for fun

I like the set as is minus absorb pain. Empathy is my fav set in game but i hate that power. At lower levesl they have the two heals because heals are what ya need. If you think back to sewer mishes from levels two through eight you dont really need clear mind or anything you just need constant heals.
