    I'll give you several reasons why LF is a bad idea on a em/elec.
    1: low S/L resist meaning you can only herd limit mob types
    2: 1 AoE attack which is whirling hands and its not that good
    3: Your not a tank !
    4: your not a tank !
    5: its an end drainer with little damage.

    The only primary which has any chance of herding is ele melee and /stone.

    Oh did i mention your not a tank ?

    Thats your choice and i'm sure the 50% regen from health will save you in a mob of NPC's.

    Personaly i skipped health as all the healing i need comes from aidself and went for swift,hurdle,stamina for better mobility with CJ.

  3. you can't run cj and hover at the same time .. both cancel each other out.

    And i shall quote you a sentance a guy told me who only had fire shield,healing flames and aidself told me.
    "i don't need shields because i'm a regen tanker"
    He told me that when i rezed him for the 8th time.

    Build 1
    Lacks any kind of dmg outside of Et
    TF at 47 ?
    No verticle movement .. GL in grandville
    Very end heavy
    Aidself at 28 ? .. you'll be crying for a heal alot sooner.

    Build 2
    no travel power period .. GL in grandville.
    GL with only bonesmasher till 28
    still end heavy
    lacking dmg outside of ET/TF


    both builds have alot of wasted slots on health,hurdle etc
    I'd go back to the drawing board and get your attacks in early and slot for end reduxs and acc.
    TF and ET are end monsters 18.512 and 10.192 end.

    Barrage,bonesmasher,energy punch are you 3 fastest attacks and are the ones which will build up your fury.
    I'd atleast slot them for decent acc and dmg.
    Whirling hands is just pap, stick with the single targets.

    slotting LR,swift etc
    Some ppl may argue its a good idea but when you look at the numbers slotting powers like those are a waste of time past 1 slot as the numeric gain is so small.

    LR you gain 2mph per slot
    Hurdle you gain nothing in jump height but gain some forward speed
    swift gains 2 mph per slot.(ish)

    Sum up
    Take a travel power .. jump maybe.
    Slot for end reduxs.
    Slot for dmg later on
    stick to 2 acc in attacks
    don't waste so many slots in movement powers ie swift,LR etc.
    take aidself sooner .. say 16.
    barrage,energy punch,bone smasher are your fury builders ET and TF are the finishers, slot accordingly.

    My EM/Invu build

    Everybodys quoteing numbers from guides or websites but nobodys speaking from experience.

    In my experience with my em/invul you HAVE to slot attacks and double slot all shields with end reduxs to even have a chance in long fights and PVP.

    Aidself is awesome for em/invul.
    Leave out the passives and take aidself .. apparantly it works out the same resistance but ups your regen rate or some such and also means you can throw around ET abit more.
  6. I have a lvl 48 SS/Elec and i have never been toggle dropped not once.
    I do have acro and static tho making my mez resist mag 12 instead of the normal mag 9.
    In PVE toggle drops will be very rare unless you let yourself be surrounded by say ink men with EM and let them hit you building up the stun.
    Holds like the Freaks electrical cage has practicaly zero change of dropping a mezz resist unless you get a huge amount of them spamming it as its only about a mag 2 hold,maybe a mag 1 .. something low anyway.
    And Freak stuns have even less of a chance.

    No i think this guy either runs out of end or hasn't even turned it on thinking its a passive like grounded

Theres a certain BS/regen scrapper who stalking around sirens atm who laughs when he ganks someone with his mates and sends you tells saying how much he 'pwnz you' but when hes gets killed himself likes to send abusives tells calling you everything under the sun from a cheat to a hacker to a noob.
    Some ppl really need to grow up.
  8. Dispersion Bubble is quite end heavy i'd try 3 end reduxs 3 def buff.
    PFF 3 recharge 3 def buff
    Invisabilitys defence bonus is so so small you'd need the hubble space telescope to see the def bonus but even then you'd only see Uranus. slot for end reduxs only.
    Maneuvers 2.9% def 3 slotted def for 0.403 EPS for the love of god WHY ?
  9. The only way your shields would drop is A: The mez resistance is being beaten which is unlikely or B: Your not toggling static shield ON ,its a toggle not a passive like grounded.
    Grounded only protects V Knockback and immobs NOT stuns,holds,sleeps
  10. fire/ is quite end heavy once you start throwing around the attacks so i'd put and end redux in each and 1 end reduxs in each heal and maybe a recharge on warmth.

  11. I'm not to worried about the Acc on the kin side. I've had a kin controller before so i know what its like its ice thats my main worry.
    Aid self is a very intresting idea tho and i'll have to give it some thought.
  12. I hit 32 on my ice/kin the other day and have been kinda stuck as to what to take.
    Its a choice between boxing and tough or the leadership pool for assault and tactics.
    Ice seems rather bad on the Acc side as i noticed when using demonic in sirens as i couldn't hit a damn thing with it on but then i'd rather like the S/L resist from tough and my PPP (52% S/L 32% nrg with Scirocco's PPP) so i am torn between the 2.

    any advice from other ice/kins would appreciated.
  13. sorry to dig this one up as its about to die but i have a thugs/traps and noticed that triage + health 2 slotted (366.22%) is almost the same as a scrappers regen rate with fast healing and intergration(391.13%).
    Now who can't love that
  14. well the first thing that springs to mind is the lack of dmg res on the 2 shields.
    Personaly i slot shields up first and keep attacks with just acc and endreduxs and use fury for dmg.

    2nd is the (in my eyes) wasted slot on health .. its not going to keep you alive in a fight and could of been used elsewere to great effect.

    Most ppl take the jump pool for acro for the KB res as using hover in a fight means KB res yeah but painfully slow movment.
  15. Yes its worth slotting but only with 1 extra slot as a 3rd slot only gives a 2% return.

    Well i have all my attacks slotted with end reduxs so i don't have to use powersink all the time thus keeping a good DPS but if i need to use it its there also as another weapon ie end drain.

    4 seconds is a long time with low/no endurance especially if you're planning on using your Brute for PVP Fu.
    3x Recharge Reductions 3x Endurance Modifications is the way to go.

    My Brute will have endurance problems in extended PVP battles especially when I am fighting 1 v 1. This is with LR, hasten and 3 x recharges in Power Sink.

    You could slot your attacks with endurance reductions rather then relying solely on Power Sink, however, in my opinion if they replace +damage enhancements you’re reducing your burst damage which is key in PVP. I realise that with Brute’s low initial damage modifier (0.75 I think – less then a tank) the +%damage is not a huge amount but with Fury generation borked in PVP you’ll need all the help you can get.

    Of course once you hit Power Surge all your endurance worries go away… for 3 minutes.

    Can't agree more with clint .. i watched him fight a fire tank lastnight and also fought the same tank and having end reduxs in attacks helps a great deal as it dosn't slow down your attack chain everytime you have to hit powersink.
    Ppl will say 'why slot end reduxs when you have powersink' my answer would be i'd rather throw a punch than have to use powersink every 2 mins.
    Even tho i do have powersink slotted 3 recharge 3 end mods i can fight for longer and it dosn't effect my DPS at all as i've slotted attacks with end reduxs.

  19. Tough is only Smashing and Lethal dmg resist and thats only at melee range.
    TBH i think the huge end cost isn't worth it but thats just me.

    Slotting Rage

    Best power to use is KO Blow as its a hold.

    RE your build erm well if you want my advice (for pvp) punch,jab and haymaker will be your basic attack chain with Footstomp and KO Blow thrown in for extra dmg and i'd slot those 3 2 acc 3 dmg 1 end redux..KO blow/Footstomp 2 acc 2 dmg 2 endreduxs.
    shields you defo want all 3 def res 2 end reduxs because its seriously dents your attack chain if you have to hit powersink every 5 seconds.
    I took Acro instead of grounded for PVP
    I took hasten instead of tough for a faster attack chain and double stack rage goodness.

    handclap i'd leave till later but i never took it.

    oh and powersurge is best with 3 recharge 3 dmg resist.. the hold is pants in pvp and barely works in pve.
  21. firstly i need to point out that 3 of the same type on enhancer on one power is pointless after ED as it only gives 5% return.

    static shield is your anti mez power so unless you want to be held and killed i'd get it and get it early.

    same with grounded .. anti immob/Knockback

    Take Powersurge or you'll make baby jesus cry - 3 recharge 3 dmg resist !

    Powersink 6 slotted 3 recharge 3 end mods !

    Take AidSelf sooner and 6 slot it ! .. you'll need it.

    Weave is just pointless on a none Def set plus its only 4% def for a HUGE amount of end .. drop it like a hot rock !
    same with lighting field .. lots of end useage little dmg.

    /dark has no lvl 38 power like retsu and elude and you will struggle against all the AV/EB's in the 40-50's.

    well i soloed Recluse on my nin/nin and i hear good things about em/regen for PVE also nin/sr works well.
    dark/dark hmm i think you'll struggle in the 40+ game.
