Slotting Rage

I have a Brute with SS as primary and I'm trying to plan my slots for my next respec.

Rage gives +20% bonus to ToHit rolls. With 3 SO enhancements, that bonus rises to 32%. Even if I put 2 acc (perhaps 3) in each one of my attacks, is it worth getting +12% ?

I plan to PvP a lot in RV.

Have 3 SS brutes, all use rage (ofcourse) and with 3 ToHit buffs I use 1 ACC on major attacks, and no ACC on minor attacks.
Overal hitting % above 90% on all powers, which is pretty neet :-)

If you don't use 2 acc in attacks and 3 tohit in rage you can't do all the fun stuff like slapping hurricane off of storm controllers and chewing up SR scrappers

After checking the ToHit Formula ad playing with it, yes, slottig Rage is a very good ideia. Thx for all your opinions.

By slapping off hurricane's does this work best with an attack with secondary effect of disorient (like jab) or do u need hand clap for best effect?

This is what I was thinking of making, Im at lvl 26 but Im considering swapping jab for hasten (at lv 6). If hand clap is more important Id consider trying to work it in earlier:

Best power to use is KO Blow as its a hold.

RE your build erm well if you want my advice (for pvp) punch,jab and haymaker will be your basic attack chain with Footstomp and KO Blow thrown in for extra dmg and i'd slot those 3 2 acc 3 dmg 1 end redux..KO blow/Footstomp 2 acc 2 dmg 2 endreduxs.
shields you defo want all 3 def res 2 end reduxs because its seriously dents your attack chain if you have to hit powersink every 5 seconds.
I took Acro instead of grounded for PVP
I took hasten instead of tough for a faster attack chain and double stack rage goodness.

handclap i'd leave till later but i never took it.

oh and powersurge is best with 3 recharge 3 dmg resist.. the hold is pants in pvp and barely works in pve.

I wouldnt take too much note of that build, it was built with AVs in mind like minx, with leathal damage, who can 2 shot my lv 50 dm/elec brute. That brute is nice (mayhems, big spawns u can pack tightly + web envelope really helps) but doesnt have the extreme damage that Im looking for to solo AVs. I know em/ would be the first choice but Im hoping SS is just as good (since Ive already made 2 chars with em, and there is only so much pink pompoms of death u want to see).

A stray click here and there would explain where the acc came from.

Im probably going to take hasten instead of jab since, I can always throw a few recharge reducers into my attacks to compensate for removing 1.

Hasten is great for a brute with a slow recharge on tier 9 shield, and double great if u pick up the demonic aura too. Oh and with hasten u can double stack rage I hear, and the more knockblows the better.

Im not too sure how I will slot my attacks yet, I slotted 3 damage on my DM, but I hear something about a low base damage multiplier (0.75) for brutes, and the damage comes from fury. I know PvP is about doing a shocking ammount of damage in a short space of time, which would favor slotting damage, but KO blow is a 6-slot power and Im not too worried at this stage about the final slotting.


Also, I have 5 slots in the shields 2 end 3 res taking 15slots and 2 more not helping much in grounded, on my dm brute. I was concerned about TP and endurance drain. Im likeing 1 end in shields and 1 end in TP (instead of range), alot better. Im slotting attacks more heavily for end (although its too early to say, especially since I dont have power sink yet).
