Cool. Most of the helmet options in the game aren't nice looking quite honestly. Some of my toons might actually wear those new ones.

It's possible to softcap Smashing and Lethal Defense on a SS/Dark Brute, but I don't think it's worth it, IMO. Shooting for 32.5% defense to Smashing, Lethal, Energy, and Negative Energy Defense with defense toggles and set bonuses then popping a purple inspiration is better. The problem is getting that AND making sure you have enough recovery to manage endurance and enough recharge to be Perma-Rage. I don't have Mids in front of me right now, but I think you should consider Energy Mastery, considering Dark Armor does require some know-how along the same lines of Regen where you need to know when to use what powers.

I delete stuff because either I don't like the performance or the playstyle of that toon because it doesn't match my particular playstyle. Or, I simply don't play that toon much anymore and I moved on to a new idea. The toon I haven't deleted that I do not play anymore is my badging toons.
Incarnate powers may of cured my altitis, because I just get burned out, getting shards and threads. I need a new plan if I'm going have alts keep up with my main toons in terms of incarnate powers. -
1) Defeat all the Freedom Phalanx Heroes and Arachnos Arch-Villains in Recluse's Victory.
2) Defeat every Giant Monster (legit...not in a TF or SF).
3) Do every Task Force, Strike Force, and Trial (except iTrials) I can with one toon.
4) MoITF, MoSTF.
5) Solo a Pylon.
6) 1000 Badges on one toon. (1150!)
Check, check, check, check, check, and czech.
7) Have a moderately, decent, kinda, sorta, meaningful time PvPing where I didn't feel like I was wasting my time...
...Hmm. -

The big reason I don't play Masterminds anymore is that other than Robotics, the pet AI's are just awful. Robotics > every other primary, in terms of control over your pets. Some pets refuse to stay where you tell them to stay, the pets you want in melee have to be manually moved in melee range and sometimes they don't go right away... it is just the control. Control. At Times there is none. It would actually be nice to apply some strategy with your pets other than 'Defensive' and 'Attack this target'. There are some other annoyances like how when pets step on a Caltrop they run for the hills.
Better pet AI control would be nice (more like a massive hoverhaul really...), but doubt the devs ever get around to it. -

1st: Claws/SR Scrapper
2nd: Dark/Shield Scrapper
3rd: Night Widow -
I guess this means I won't be getting Shivan Shards easily now, huh?

I generally don't have many problems with my SR scrapper in iTrials. I recommend Aid Self or Rebirth as means of healing. If you're build is a low budget build, I'd go with Aid Self. I also recommend Elude because in certain situations it proved useful, like the the part in the Lambda Trial where you collect Acids or Grenades or in the Underground trial the Avatar of Hamidon has massive -defense debuff that cuts defense by 1/3; and it stacks.

Quote:Then nearly everyone would not use the AE building. Why not have the dev team do a system-wide purge of all AE arcs that implement any of the following:
1) Critters that inflict only one type of damage.
2) Any ambushes whatsoever.
3) Any maps that place a glowie or clickable ally in the first room.
4) Any AE mission that uses less than 1000 words for script
5) Any AE mission with more than 3000 plays (which likely whacks most farms) -

I could be wrong, and I can't think of the title, but I remember reading a graphic novel containing short stories that revealed other plots that took place during the Clone Wars and shorty after the Clone Wars ended. One of the shorts had Darth Maul returning on Tattooine with cybernetic legs, baiting Obi Wan by threating a young Luke Skywalker at the Lars' residence. Obi Wan makes short work of Darth Maul, and I think it ends with Lars telling Obi Wan to stay away from Luke and his family.

Still have my 3.5e books. Still haet 4e. I have lost my faith in WotC a long time ago when it came to D&D.

I have never had trouble forming teams for Deathsurge or the Ghost of Scrapyard. Obviously since they're requirements for accolades it isn't a problem. For every other GM, there's not really a reason to go after them other than 2 Merits and a badge. When I have to fit my playtime for tip missions, iTrials, Task Forces, MA arcs, the occasional flashback mission, and/or leveling low level and mid level toons... There's just so much content now Giant Monsters have fallen by the wayside in importance.

How many times did they show Statesman in that vid? Feels like more usual developer misdirection.

I don't know if there's really a market for City of Heroes to jump into TCG's...again. I terms of MMO's with a TCG brand, I haven't seen anyone play the WoW TCG in quite a while (at least in my area, it's been years). I know that they keep pumping out new sets...every month it seems, but hat just tells me that TCG is dying. Whereas with Magic: The Gathering or Yu-Gi-Oh they stretch new set releases over time and they stay popular.
Aside from Magic, I played a lot of MageKnight and HeroClix. I know that there are still some hardcore old-school Warhammer gamers out there and table top gaming will never really die. But after a while HeroClix got to be really expensive for me, and there just wasn't enough interest in it compared to Magic. Given the current economy, I doubt Paragon Studios is going to venture back into this area of gaming, at least for now. -
Quote:I think there was a TCG game for City of Heroes but I don't think it ever took off. I think it came out in 06' or 07'.Would be nice to see City of Heroes expanded more beyond the gaming world. Wasn't there rumors of a City of Heroes movie awhile back? Also, as I'm a TCG fan I'd like to see a CoH trading card game made by the people behind the VS system TCGs from Upper Deck, never got into the one that was officially released.
