why wasn't this the log in screen?

I like this ViDoc! Although there's not a whole lot of new information (Although apparently we can take part in how the character is taken out), it still is neat to see the thought process behind the signature story arcs.

The thing that caught my eye the most, though, was that piece of art that shows up right before David starts talking that appears to be a redrawn and expanded version of the login screen's picture with Statesman and the ACU. I wonder if we'll be seeing the full piece later on, because that looks rather neat (Although Desdemona's face looks sort of like Ghost Widow's face there for some reason).

Did anyone else pause the shot of David Nakayama drawing to try and see what was on the screen behind him? there's a costume picture to the right, and two comic panels to the left, one with Statesman, and one that looks like Positron.

How many times did they show Statesman in that vid? Feels like more usual developer misdirection.

Awesome work on the new Story Arc and ViDoc, guys

A suggestion in case it hasn't been already done:
How about posting those awesome title images of the Who Will Die? arcs in the Media section as wallpapers in different screen resolutions?

Would be awesome for fans to show off on their computers.

I support the notion of updating the splash screen to the much more action-y version. I also like that it features heroes in the Ascension and Valkyrie armor sets.

Going by the large amount of empty space to the right that unbalances the picture, it's either unfinished, or that was to leave space for the log-in stuff

Some very nice artwork, but I have no respect for the "gratuitous shock death" mentality. That cliche is now and always had been a terrible idea, and one that reeks of desperation.

Beyond that, though, I don't see why a non-player would care that you're killing off a character they've never heard of. If that really was a goal, I'd strongly advise you guys to come up with a better hook for your next big advertising blitz.

I wonder if this story will reveal who it was that created that time vortex in First Ward.

I mean we can see the body fo the seed of Hamidon already dead....yet it keeps coming back floating around....also it doesnt progress much further...becasue it obviously is recreated due to some sci-fi-esque temporal system.

And i wonder why the vortex is made...just who exactly was brought back to life with it.....and who exactly are they.....whomever it was...it was very important to someone to do so.....

Reminds me of the Star Gate Episode where the one scientist was trying to bring back his dead wife...but insteasd kept creating a localized time dilation effect that made colonel o'neil and Teulk get stuck in a temporal loop.

But in this case....whomever it was...succeeded...and who ever it was they where trying to save may or may not realize it.
