I did buy the pack:/ yes I like it but total agree with the jackets need to be for females too. Also I can not access all the costume parts they say we have from the pack for the female.
-
Edited because of what a joke forums are again!!!
-
Honestly I hope they are not working on a CoH2, they cant even get the first one fixed.. So the hope that they would get a second one right is pretty null and void.
-
Well I am running a GTX 570 and while I dont have it maxed out right now because of some testing im doing for the game. I have had it maxed out along with every other game I have. So far no problems.
-
Quote:This....I know a bunch of you don't want to hear this but give the devs a bit of time. A week is a ridiculously short amount of time for turning out major game-crashing bugfixes.
It is being worked on trust me im testing my *** off to get them data.
Right now i am in safe mode to run the new content. And while i cant say this fixes the errors and that, I do aleast get through the BAF (thats what im testing for them) and if i do error then atleast i can join back up now. Cant do that in normal mode.
try Safe mode then try for a few Trials. Keep track of where/when it errored. and keep using the one ticket to update information.
Also I said it once but Keep the problem on one ticket and make sure they move it up to Cody. Its the best we can do right now.
Ill try to do it without the launcher in the background and see if that helps. who knows it might be a mem leak from the launcher on top of the mem leak that is already there. -
Quote:Im having same problem. And so far the new hotfix hasn't worked. I have completed the trial 4 out of 20 trys now. I have been in phone contact with tech support and my account has been marked to watch by them.Hi, since i20 my computer has been crashing everytime i do the new incarnate trials. I get constant errors and it causes me to miss the rest of the trial im on. I frequently have missed the end of serveral completions after staying in the trial until the last part or I may disconnect at the beginning. I have ran the BAF and Lam trial a bunch of times now and about 3/40 (just guessing) i havent crashed or dissconnected. My game works perfectly fine when doing anything else in the game but those two trials. Is there anything I could do to avoid this problem again or at least reduce how often it happens?
Thanks in advance
If having problems getting tech support then have them send your ticket to Cody. He is the one watching this problem. And I would recommend that to anyone having this problem.
The more accounts they can watch with this problem then hopfully the faster they can fix the problem. -
Maint Done and game broke.
Toons lock in DB server errors, Can't do mission because just kicks you back out to street, Can't do TF/SF/Trials interface not working, Gloabal Down, AE down, Ect ECT ECT.......
Ok guys this is getting down right stupid now. People are starting to getting really angry. Don't Believe me then maybe the you devs should get on the chat channels and take a listen. -
Personally I would just like to see it all work instead of the bug ridden content it is.
Have not been able to do new content because the game keeps erroring or loosing map server.
Everything is up to date for drivers. This problem got really bad about 2 patches before the new loader came out. And its just getting worse.
New content = good
New content + old bugs + new bugs = not good.
And if your not getting the bugs reported to you, well check my sig... -
-
Well I have been ave. 4-6 bug reports a day, sence 2 patches before new launcher was installed. None of them have been fixed.
Been sick so unable to play new content on live. But if anything close what is on beta, well lets just say I hope you guys have a VERY LARGE Email box.
Look forward to playing the new content hope bugs don't stop it. -
Spent $10 yesterday want about $5 back today.
The New stuff looks good but not great. And a lot about this feels about 1/2 finished.
But thats just MHO. -
here is what I am running on my SD/ElecM tank. Ill be doing a post with this build and maybe a guide if I can get the time.
As you can see there no purples on this build, but there are a few spendy IO's. The whole build cost me around 300mil & took about a month to finish. But thats also using Hero Merits and Reward Merits for most for the spendy ones. The only thing I have problem tanking with this build is LR. Other than that its been a great fun filled time of people going OMG nice build.
I hope this helps. I have 40 lvl 50s (finally counted) and 6 years in this game and this by far is one of my most fun toons I have played.

Congrats to the Winners of the Giveaway!!
While these are not something I chose to participate in I think there great little ideas for promotion of the game. Although across three "Forums" I question, but O well.
I feel like many others, that these should be Incorporated in game somehow. Also like I said there great little ideas for promotion of the game, but isn't this suppose to be the flagship of NC Soft? Now understanding that IF they are working on a CoX2 I would save the money for advertisement for it instead. But shouldn't they have a real ad campaign???
Now meaning this in a "the reason you even know what I am talking about, not I want something for free" kind of way. The best way I can explain it is..
Wheres my Mohawk hand grenades??? -
Quote:Actully my "sarcasm overload" would be from being in the game for almost 7 years and watching how they do some stuff very half @__. My "sarcasm overload" comes from being in Beta sence CoV launce and watching them not lissen to the players and putting out product with huge exploits/bug in them and blaming the player base for using them. Thats what the difference is. What I am saying is "if that is what it takes to fix things, then do it. Sorry thats what it would take to do it right, but thats the job...I suspect that your temporary sarcasm overload disabled your ability to tell the difference between "fixing stuff" and "redesigning an entire task force." The former has been attempted three times and improved the performance on that map. The latter - well, I doubt that Castle uses the word "massive" to mean, "really easy and gosh we should get right on that because it won't take any time at all". Especially when it's an issue that, for people even on systems like mine that pre-date the game, still doesn't make the ITF unplayable.
I'm going to have to run the CoP one of these nights. -
Quote:What a good idea, fix stuff that is already in game. Wow what a concept... Ya I like that idea. The concept of fixing stuff that is broken instead of only exploits. Helping to serve the whole of CoX instead of just a very small amount. Wow these are all great concepts....At this point, there is nothing we can do without a massive redesign of that Task Force.

Um.. There finally going to fix the bugs that have been in the game sence day one???
There finally going to fix some of the old zones in Paragon???
OOOO how about a new testing system with updated test server so that we can test the game right????
O I know there finally going to fix the Mem Leak in the game so those effected by it can play over a hour or so????
You have finally finally found a way to get rid of the horrable lag and rubberbanding????
Did I guess on any of these right? I sure hope so....
I could keep going, if i guessed wrong.. -
I can get to log in screen but just comes up with the "theres maint. going on and to go check the server status."

Quote:/signedRemoving Mystic Fortune from the game probably won't be an option, since it was something that people had to spend money to get.
How about changing MF to a self buff?
It shouldn't take long to, it sort of adheres to the premise of the power, and the would be 100% positive control over having it without the need for a pop up.
This is the best idea I have heard on this subjectmuch cookies to you!!!
The prompt is one of the most annoying things in this game.
Just hope they don't go with the minority, again....
True options are always good and making it a option to turn off/on is a good way to go or make it a team only buff, but honestly from looking at the small amount that want it back it seems to be due to a problem with sound/fx then that should be addressed. The just "I don't want a buff" arguement is very weak and really small amount... but hay they have done it before ie.. PvP, and we all know how well that worked out.One whole issue wasted for most of the players.

Quote:The mem leak isnt just from the Radeon Drivers. Its part of the game has been for years. THERE IS A MEM LEAK!!! been going on sence i have played the game for over 6 years now. I have turned it in many times and got told that i didn't know what i was talking about. So I went to an outside source (a programer buddie) and had him look at what was going on, yep mem leak. you need to go through and find it. dont matter which of the 4 comps I am on there Radeon or Nvidia. please fix this problem!!!I'm glad this ended up working out for you. For anyone else having the same problem: we've seen similar behavior (insanely bad memory leak) with some ATI Radeon HD 4*** series cards with the drivers that card ships with. Upgrading to the 10.4 drivers appears to have resolved the issue.
And omg got to say it!

Here is one of my stone brutes. I run 2 builds and love them both. Have gone down once in a mission and it was a toggle drop death. Dont usally need a Kin but they always help. The first build is my TF/Team build and second is Team/Solo build. (not that the first build dosent work just find solo) I normally run at +2/8 solo but can do +4/8 just takes longer to kill. I should also say that I haven't IO setted the second build but I have basicly the same build on my stone stone brute and it has no problems running same settings
I'm sure they could prob be optimized more but....
Also Yes brutes are the best of both worlds. With these 2 builds you can out do a tank by taking as much aggro and killing faster and out do scrappers with just about the same damage and being able to survive what a scrapper never could.. But thats just imho.

Only thing I would do is take Hurdle instead of Swift. The extra speed compared to the help that jumping higher will be, makes it a much better choice.

Here is a build I’m working on. It’s a starting point. The tank is only lvl 12 right now but I have 5 lvl 50 WP tanks and 1 WP scrapper all basicly slotted same. Can also get rid of Energy Mastery and go with tough/weave pretty easy.I usally do 2 builds one with tough/weave and one with more attacks or Energy Master Also I do not typically do my builds with purple IO’s so it should not be to bad on the pocket. But some of these will be a little $$$.
Also just thought about it but I have a buddie that has a ElecM WP scrapper and he went with only 4 attack, tough, weave, maneuvers, tactics, Physical Perfection, and Focused Accuracy. Could prob be made into a really tough tank but killing would be a little harder with only 4 attack, but it is Energy MeleeWell hope it helps

Also just thought about it but I have a buddie that has a ElecM WP scrapper and he went with only 4 attack, tough, weave, maneuvers, tactics, Physical Perfection, and Focused Accuracy. I have seen him tank for teams np with no healing needed. It would prob be easy to rebuild it in tank and be basicly a god for tanking but killing solo might not be that great. Well hope it helps -
Hmm lets see 5 mins on and 5 bugs reported but sence the tech support for this game sucks (been tring for 6 years now to get some) ill put it here and hope a dev reads it
1. Blackwand Animation still messed up
2. buffs not staying when zoning or into a mission
3. vet reward Buff pet has to be recast after zoning or going into mission because it dies.
4. Very low spawn count in missions when solo. Im talking 2-3 single spawns is all. Not even worth the mission.
5. Damage not being doubled most of the time for stalker when hitting from hide.
Love the ideas just unhappy about a lot of bugs that are reported during Beta and they still go livePlease guys it need to get better or were never going to get any real amount of new players.
And once again maybe Marketing could do something about advertising the game!!!! When I started there was or almost was 1/2 a million people playing this game, now even the populated servers are getting hard to find teams
Not a complaint about devs, keep up the good work. Total Complaint about the rest of the Company.
