Can't log in after 7/29 Maintenance

It's currently 3 hours after the maintenance window today ended, but I still can't log in.

I'm theorizing that the IP address of the login servers have actually changed. When I try to log in, my game client acts just like it does when I have no internet, or no route to the login server.

I can see that the client is trying to connect using TCP to 216-107-249-131.plaync.com on port 2106. However, nothing ever replies (my system issues SYN_SENT, but nothing comes back).

Am I stuck waiting on Midwestern DNS servers to catch up to an IP address change?

I was in before but I logged out, and now I have the same problem.

I got in a few minutes ago, logged to change characters and cannot log back in as well.

I can get to log in screen but just comes up with the "theres maint. going on and to go check the server status."

It shouldn't be DNS-related as the communications are by IP address and not resolvable name. I've had DNS outages in the past when pretty much all my other intarwebbing activities came to a screeching halt but CoH was playable just fine.

Whatever it is, its behaving differently on two of my gaming rigs. One is able to connect just fine (once I added in the new NCSoft IP range), the other will not. Temporarily turned off windows firewall and even placed the failing rig in the DMZ, still no connection.

And as I'm typing this the rig made connection. Something up with the login server perhaps? Who knows what weirdnesses are lingering after an all-day maintenance.

I had this problem initially, but a reboot cleared things up. But I'm sure y'all have tried that already...

I had this same problem. After verifying all files I was able to log in.

I tried a "ipconfig /flushdns" but that didn't work. Rebooting the PC did

Looks like maybe a timing thing, as in they fixed it while we were trying stuff.

I was doing various flushing and recycling, but still wasn't getting in. Then I read stuff online for a bit, tried again, and now I'm in.

Same issue. Seems to be intermittent.

We expect this **** to work properly after maintenance. Especially a 12 hour maintenance!

I finally got on last night, but now I get some sort of hardware issue where I get 1fps for a while, and this morning the game crashed before it ended. Sort of a sine wave netgraph where my ping goes from 400ish to 700ish while this is going on. Usually 60fps and 250ms or less.

it seems to occur consistently when I log in the brute I had parked by the cap market on justice. the blue side character I have logged in hasn't had it happen.

I had this problem as well.

The way I've been logging in for the longest time is to use the special short-cut to bypass the updater and just launch the client directly. But yesterday, after the maintenance, it kept saying to check my network, etc. And refused to log in.

I eventually decided to try running it from the updater once. While it didn't download any new patch, I was able to log in afterward without fail. I even restarted the game with my short-cut to bypass the updater and I was still able to log in.

My guess is since they changed the IP addresses for the servers, the updater will 'fix' the client to use the new IPs, instead of the old ones.

Just had the same issue but I was logged in fine yesterday - router reboot got me in anyway

This is very obviously a problem on Paragon's end. Three systems here now affected, three different routers, three different DNS configurations, and flushdns does absolutely nothing.

So, missing emails and auctions, globals/mail/auctions/AE down for four hours yesterday, and now this. 12 hours supposedly dedicated to fixing issues, and instead we get this? Incompetence doesn't begin to cover it.

I had the same problem, but I'm back in now.

Same here.....tried to reboot PC-reset router and nothing. Odd, I was on this morning and now I can't make it past the login screen.
