I'd gotten burned out about a year and a half ago, but it was always comforting in some way to know my characters would be there if I wanted to see them. There are a few that I'm attached to in some odd way.

But people are a whole other story. The communities you mentioned kept me around long after the challenge of the game had faded, and you were a big part of that. Reading through the epistle of Paul to ncsoft brought back a lot of good memories, over whats almost been a generation of time (we talked about when tribes came out, and its been nearly 14 years ago that we met).

I'm pretty bad about staying in touch with people, but this is a community I'll probably make an effort to stay in some sort of contact with.

It's really disheartening to see you and everyone else treated this way. I'd always expected CoH would slowly transition to a small group of dev's keeping it up over the years, and never get shut down, because it had such dedicated players. To see it go like this, when they've finally introduced a real end-game, is very disappointing, and really illogical on their part. As Con always used to say to me: "Q, take your logic and get out".

Hm. My understanding is people usually just make a bunch of demos of the stuff they want, then copy/paste the parts together, rather than try to do everything from scratch. At least, that is how I did it, and it wasn't too bad, outside the time fiddling with the costume creator.

Learning to demo edit would probably help you a lot, its not too complicated. Some good walkthroughs in the guides section of the boards I think.

Pure body building isn't so good for the heart, I don't want to say its not exercise, but its a lot different from aerobic forms when you are just doing 2 reps with really heavy stuff. Heart and muscle types develop/get conditioned much differently.

Was assuming it was a farm build, I agree with what solo said, minus that I tend to play melee. I might keep tactics but change it to a pair of rect. ret. for the s/l and then never run it, and retake the slots from brawl to do stuff with.

Stop blowing it on catboys and dyne.

If that is the case, then I think the rage is justifiable. To do something like that would be pretty messed up.

Was not aware there was some question still, whether reactive was the best. Particularly against targets which heavily resist -regen.

It was working for me pretty well yesterday, but now it is not. Interestingly, when I hit 'post' the page generally just goes into the 'waiting for data' state, but if I go back to the thread I can see my post in it, even when the page is still 'loading' in another tab.

Problem generally happens for me at work, on win7/vista and ubuntu. Haven't had a problem at home.
