Was able to log in this morning at 8 AM CST.

Might as well add myself to the list as well. Gone the whole nine yards in an effort to get myself to log on, but to no avail.

Add me to the list too - rebooted router, modem, flushed, tried both pc's and the laptop - nada. Can't get past the login screen. Hello, support ??

i was in game almost 2 hours ago and now can't pass the log in screen, hope they fix that soon

Add me to the list. Game hangs at the login screen, then I get the generic 'client was unable to connect to the login server' error. I've had no troubles logging in the past few days, and this is the first time I've tried today.

The login server appears to be working now. Try logging in again.

Still no dice, at least for me. In fact, the launcher just crashed after trying to login and my browser chose to randomly load up the CoH main website.



EDIT: Had the roommate try to login on his comp and he got in without a hitch. Seems like the login server is being selective for some reason

Well you know, I can take 4 days of not playing, since that's about how many days a month I don't play, but now this is just unprofessional, they should have planed this a little better.

I was able to play this morning up to about 7:30 AM Central with no problems, then I had to go to work.

Came home a short bit ago and no City Of Heroes.

Something bad happened inbetween

If it matters, I live in Texas.

Support is FINALLY acknowledging that there is an actual problem with the login server. Their instructions were to "keep trying" and "restart the game or your computer."

Unprofessional, incompetent, and insulting. And this update delivered to you by a player who opened a support ticket, instead of any redname. Just like every other problem any more.

"Keep trying" and "restart the game or your computer". I laugh at that since I'm sure that I'm not alone in having done all three and then some in an effort to log in. They should take their own advice and reboot the login server.

Just to add my voice to the chorus here, I can't log in at all right now. I haven't tried since before the maintenance the other day. I've restarted the game, rebooted my computer, etc etc etc. Currently verifying files just for the heck of it.

EDIT: As expected, verifying files didn't make a difference.

I can log in, but every server name is grayed out and unselectable.

Over 8 years of playing with more than 130 characters across 14 servers. Nineteen 50s with plenty more working their way up!

Find me in-game as @Super MC

I get the same. All the servers show three grey dots.
