And that brings me to the DPS issue. I'm not a number cruncher, but DA sucks as a damage dealer. My "attack chain," if you can call it one, is Something/DA/Something/DA/Something quick/Something quick/DA/etc. Those somethings are Dragon and Dragonfly, unless I'm surrounded [often] and it turns into Lotus and Steel. I never use GC, but have it slotted for -def and acc, as a prybar to get into a hard to reach def.
You should use GC. Your attack chain should be something like GD/DA/GC/SD/DA/GC. It doesn't take a lot of recharge to do and it has ok DPS.

    MSTF

close but wrong tank that would be his fire/fire tank Inferno Prey
  6. I slot it with 5 crushing Impacts, all but the Damage/recharge. and the Luck of the Gambler +7.5% recharge speed. It might not be better but that is how I slot it.

    Numbers
    Acc 68.9%
    Dam 97.49%
    Def 15.94%
    End 68.9%
    Recharge 42.4%

One thing for you is change the LotG Def/Rech to just Def. It will up it to 38% def.(at lvl 50) The rechage goes down, but that is not a big thing to me because it still rechage fast, 2.1 sec(at lvl 50).
  7. For regen I found it best to go for recharge first, regen is a click heavy set and the faster your clicks come back the better you will be. then I would go for +def but +regen would be last on my list. You want some regen but it not going to make that big of a different if you don't have a lot.

Well I can't see your build in mids but just looking at here what I see

slot Disembowel for an attack the Ldygrey don't do much and your killing your damage in one of you best attacks.

I like to slot parry for an attack maybe have one +defens but that is it.

It's not a ranged set, Castle said this.

don't bosses drop rares recipes now?
    Yes

    Quote:
Issue 14 combined these two into one single drop pool, available at Merit Vendors as a Reward Merit purchase as the Random Rare Recipe Roll, and at Ticket Vendors as the Gold Class Recipe Roll. Also effective with Issue 14, these recipes have a chance to drop from boss class enemies. Recipes in this drop pool are said to be weighted by usefulness. For example, melee damage sets are among the most popular recipes, so they should drop more often than, for instance, sniper sets.

    New melee set.

Looking at the video it looks cool, but will it go with Shields? It looks like it uses both hands a lot and doesn't look like it will go with shields, but I hope it does.

I feel the same way. If it is too much trouble and I lose to much, I will just keep the builds I have. Having Softcapped def to melee and 42ish% to Range and AoE will do for me.
  12. Well this sucks, all of my /SD toons are getting hit hard. All of them had at least 2 BoTz sets in them. It's for the better and having 40+ defense is still good, and with the way I have been playing lately I mostly won't noice it at all.

    Fun scrapper

Well all Scrapper combos are fun to me. But the ones I find the most fun are
    Fire/Fire
    DB/Regen
    DM/SD
    Kat/WP
    Kat/Elec
    Elec/SD
and I could go on but I think I will just stop here.

True but he said as a Scrapper, not as a claws Scrapper

and yes I get it he was talking about his claws scrapper. I was just saying it isn't counter intuitive for a scrapper.

Not really, what if the guys is running away from you and the chance for hold hits? It stop them right there so you don't need to go running after them.
  16. The best one is Attack Vitals, then Sweep. I don't like to go for Sweep because I don't like One Thousand Cuts but other people do like it a lot.
  17. BrokenPrey

    New Farm Toon

I have a elec/sd brute and a SS/SD brute and I would say the SS/SD brute wins hands down(but I like to run +2/8 which is not the best thing to do for farming). The only thing is the SS brute does have some end issues but nothing some blues won't fix.

Now if you do want to make a Elec/SD make it a scrapper. He will do more damage because SD and LR for brutes have the same damage cap as a Scrapper. So with Fruy and AAO, build up does no good for a Brute, but will help out the Scrapper alot.
  18. It's hard to say I love all my Archery toons.

Right now I would say I like my Archery/Pain Dom the best, but my Archery/MM was a blast to play all the way to 50 and I still enjoy playing with that toon to.

Okay... you know you have to tell *how* and *where* LOL
Here is a thread from last month talking about it, it also has a pic.
  21. Well for a good mix of ST and AoE damage Fire would be the best.

Now Fire/SD would give you great ST damage and With FCS and SC will have really good AoE.

For the three you said /DA would give you the more help with AoE with Death Shroud.

Any of the three you said would be good but I like Fire/WP the most. It just non-stop killing which I like a lot
  22. I pick Super Jump most of the time for Combat jumping. The 3%ish defenes it has helps a lot on /Sr and /SD builds. It is also a good place to slot the Karma Knockback Protection on my /FA and /DA toons.

If I don't pick SJ I pick SS mostly for Hasten.

    DP/MM build

I'm having some trouble coming up with a good build for my DP/MM. This is the last build that I came up with and I'm not really happy with it. Any help would be appreciated.
