Satesman kills Co-Op teams.
LGTF, ITF, Apex, and Tin Mage are all Co-Op. -
Logically the door is open it should be easier to get in, than having to open it and then enter...
and lets not forget the pile up of traps and pets as an MM exits the mission -
5) PEATs(Preatorian Epic Archetype) - Lore wise, The Well gives power to the Hamidon. With this power the(a) new PEAT(s) come(s) in...
4) Gladiator to temp power - and influence sink, that allows you to purchase a temp pet for any glasiator badge you have earned.
3) Preatorian encounters in a villain arc or mission(s)
2) Contacts and talk missions - Tailor contacts should be like the other unlockable contacts and appear in your contacts list. Contacts like Hollows, Striga, Crotoa, and Seerer Marino, should be level unlockable so we don't have to take a mission to do it. The PvP liasons should also fall in this category. Missions like delivery Puzzle Box to Hardcase, should be removed or have an actual mission tied to it to retrieve the box as xp was removed from these missions.
1) Give swift to all AT pets, escort and combat NPCs, and FFG(Force Field Generator) from traps. MM pets and FFG do little good if I move faster than them in a mission. Using no movement buffs except maybe Combat Jump. -
Rad and Dark are pretty high on the list.
Cold is one of, if not, the best.
But the one power that is underestimated the most is traps, Poison Trap with -1000% Regen
Put cold and traps oon the same team and the FFG adds to the +Def of Shields for squishies. and then the combined debuffs floor everything -
no one mentioned Trenchcoats and the half cape thingy. aren't they Vet Rewards also.
-
Quote:That combo offers no guarentee of shards. and is rather low on merits out put.you are wrong... in a 20 min ITF run you get 2-3 shard, in a half hour STF you net 4-5 shards..... so if you do a ITF/LGTF/STF combo you may end up with more shards than a normal ITF that will take the same time.... plus a lot more merits or components
i join phills runs because they are fun.... i also join or start normal grinding runs... it's just what you want to do to have fun each time
Tin Mage / Apex / Kahn roughly 30 minutes each for a total of 1.5 hours = 110 Merits and a guarentee of 4 Shards, you will probably get more shards.
Now lets compare that combo to Quarterhell. No possiblity of Shards(currently), and add another 1.5+ hours for 12 more merits.
I think we have a winner.
Even just Co-Oping Tin Mage and Apex for 1 hour you get 80 merits and 4 guarenteed shards. Not bad. -
Even before Inherent Fitness it seemed that most NPC Escorts, Pets and the FFG lacked the movement speed to keep up. Please boost their speed some. I am not saying they should keep up with SS. At least give them a Swift equivillant.
BG Mode does little good if pets don't keep up, the FFG also.

I have noticed in the past posts that talk about make origin mean something. Yet it has to be done in a way that is fair and balanced. I am not a numbers person, so I will leave those detail out.
A new recipe groups, with drop rates like purples, but they can only be used by a specific origin. Under inherent powers, will be one listing your origin type. at lvl 2, you get a slot. 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 will be your other slots.
Unlike normal recipes, each of these give a small global bonus, similar to set bonus. Some ideas I had were the lower end set bonus like:
1.5% recovery bonus
5% regen
2% Damage bonus
4% Movement Bonus
but unlike other set bonus, you can slot mulipltes of the same type. ie 2 recovery bonus, for a 3% bonus.
But like any other sets there will be a few highend "unique ones" like +3% defense all, +5% resist all, small status protect (it would work against a single hold, but a second hold would get you), etc like all uniques you can only have one of that type.

PEATs
PEATs (Preatorian Epic ArcheType) is a topic that was host, now kind of cold, to hate. But the question is how could you get something powerful and Cole not want you dead on the spot if you want to support him.
My idea, is that the Well of the Furies as spoken with Hamidon of Preatoria. And has added to it's power. Hamidon can now imbue Human subjects with some of its Essence. The only problem is that as the humans get stronger Hamidon starts to lose his control over them. So now the 2 paths for this is those Loyal to Hamidon and that want their Freedom from Hamidon.
At level 20 you leave Preatoria for Primal Earth. If you are loyal to Hamidon, you are trying to figure out why this Hamidon is weaker than the one in Preatoria, and either help it, or find a way to make your Hamidon stronger. If you wanted your Freedom, you have it. But you know that there is a Hamidon on this world, what are you going to do about it. Ignore it and enjoy your freedom, or fight it?
I have not really thought about powers or the looks of players. But I was thinking it would be cool to have a Bio-Armor type suit. I guess similar to that of Dwarf form, but working on the current human models, and it be customizable to an extent. Certain colors, and patterns.
****************************
Randomness
I was thinking about "Wild Magic" from AD&D Forgotten Realms. And thought it would be cool to have a temp random power in a ST/TF/Trail/ that would cause a random debuff on the enemy and buff the team. ie -to hit adn +to hit , -def and +def, etc.
Just a random wild thought. Just to make it interesting as no one would know until then what will happen.
I am done rambling for now. -
Tanks and Healers are both nice to have on a team but not required.
If you kill the enemy fast enough, then you don't need healing or a tank. -
Quote:Secondary Mutation is not available to click when in forms. Also if you use it in human form, and change, you don't get the effect.I was in rare form on my Warshade and doing well in Siren's Call. I decide to pop Secondary Mutation before charging into a fight in Nova form, when I drop out of the sky because Rikti Monkeys can't fly. So I spend the next minute running from every person and NPC I see hoping I don't get one shot by... well... everything.

So did you explain that love / hate relationship fans have with devs.
Example:
Reading the patch Notes:
Love you
Love You
Hate You

I remember the CoV beta, where the villains would come out of a mission and sometimes end up in AP. You had to avoid the Police Drones. But it was fun geeting the badges with "odd names"

His in game global is something li @phibbrizzo , I saw him last week, I haven't seen him this week. If you want I can make a throw a way toon to hold it for him.

About what time were you thinking about doing this. Earlier is better, since CoP and Raids are in the afternoon/evening time. If I am not up to anything, I'll try and help ya.

I thought about that this morning. All I can say is I am glad I am not on Virtue or Freedom

My biggest complaint, is with the Engine not the animal pack.
Skin should be a category along with color. Under skin, we have Human, Zombie, Indectoid, Reptile, Animal Fur etc. This way we can wear shirts, Leather Straps, etc, and still see our "skin" underneath,
