My catgirl Revi would be flying around in a two seater, custom modified Longbow Chaser with one of her sisters.
Said jet would be named The TurboKat.
My main Katana/SR samurai would ride around with... His Customized Jeep Wrangler? Well, not everyone owns a custom chassis Batmobile. He is also trying to get a P-51 Mustang restored.

D'Shan Steelclaw would stick to his SuperJump... human modes of transport smell funny.
La Bella Mafia - chauffeur driven limosine with Mozart playing gently in the background. Her Thug pets would drive black SUVs as escort vehicles in front and behind.
Jonathan Fury - '79 Corvette with the police package installed; black with silver and gold PPD markings on the outside.
Thorn of the Fire Rose - would ride a white stallion everywhere... although considering her powers include Fire Aura and sprouting spines from her body she likely wouldn't do much fighting from atop the poor thing.
Shrapnel Storm - doesn't matter so long as it's a convertible... the crab pack don't you know...
Mistress Monolith - Dodge Ram pick up truck, dark blue with full lift package and oversized tires not quite Monster Truck style...

See that girl in my avatar? The one with the big, feathery wings? Yeah... Almost all of my characters are like Shade, there. Most of them are members of a species of winged fliers. They're their own transportation.
Not that Mei'jin would say no to a steam-powered pony if Nemesis wanted to give her one. 
(Mei is supposed to be a Nemesis operative keeping an eye on Arachnos. I've always wanted a pet Jaeger for her, but a cute brass pony would do.)
As for the "non-Birdbrains"... Mister Bibbles and Mister Mistofolees are both cat-familars using purloined magic to look human. Bibbles belongs to a Cabal witch, while Meff belongs to a lazy sorcerer. (Their humans are rather sweet on each other, but the two cats are fierce rivals-) I imagine Bibbles borrows his mistress' broom on occasion, while Mistofolees makes use of his master's flying carpet.
Mameshiba, the very chibi Littlest Bane, is a product of Mad Science. Like the original WSPDR Saturday-morning cartoon character he was modeled after, he just jumps. He's too short to pilot a black Flier.
Alshain, the barrista Warshade, is from Striga. She knows how to hotwire SkyRaider gun skiffs. Kephren, on the other hand, is a siren. She's not so saavy about all this modern-world techno-stuff and never learned to drive... She just takes the train.
Anu, the winged bull, and Beans, the stink-bug, both fly.
Cholula, my Nightwidow, is a biker chick. I can't imagaine her with anything but a Very Loud Motorcycle.

Every one of my toons is so epic they don't need no stinkin' transport - they can fly or leap, run faster than the eye can see, etc. Batcopters and SpiderCars and what have you are toys for lesser heroes and villains.
Until the voidship that she functions as navigator for reforms/resumes causality Navigator FoTa isn't going more than a few light-minutes or manifold stacks from the Earth for more than a few revolutions, so she doesn't really need a mode of transport for such short distances and durations.
Dr. Malthusian, Khybernetika, and Shadow Projector fly everywhere under their own power.
Gunmetal Roo just hops everywhere.
Thunder Locust taps into the nearest accessible teleport grid or just switches shells depending on circumstances.
Fumarole Pixie can fly, but really likes riding on trains and ferries.
Rishathra Furrae would prefer to ride in an oxcart.

My Soldier of Arachnos would love a big Judge Dredd style Lawgiver motorbike. For game purposes it would likely be better as a hoverbike, but a fast ground bike would be fantastic.
PSLAnimal's preferred method of transport would be to be borne about the city on the shoulders of a half-dozen topless Las Vegas showgirls.
I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.
Best travle power = Personal Forcefield.

I have a lot of alts, so I won't break it down by toon. Many (most?) of my characters just fly, or TP, or run. But I have several others who would use motocycles if we had them. I've got a couple who'd work well with a horse, and several who claim a spaceship as not only transport but also home. And I've got at least two characters who would LOVE hoverboards.
I have enough alts that, if this game had mounts, I'd find some use for every one they gave us.

Electric-Knight - While flying is great and all, it takes some energy and focus, as he uses his electrical powers to generate static fields and alters the air around it to shoot/propel himself along through the air...
So (back, many moons ago, when he was created in a Pen and Paper game) he enjoys driving in his completely customized black '68 GTO.
From the outside, it just looks like a well kept '68 GTO, but the insides were completely gutted and operate entirely from his own electrical powers. He doesn't need any keys and he only needs supply it with more energy occasionally as he drives. So, he sits back and enjoys cruising in his old muscle car.
If/when he gets money, he might get one of the new Mustangs or Chargers.
And, in alternate worlds (old pen and paper games) he had friends who built lots and lots of inventions and he had his own custom jet that also ran on his electrical powers.
Maybe one day in the CoH universe he'll get hooked up like that, hehe.
Malfaz just uses a portable teleportation device he stole... But, so far, all but one of his personalities absolutely hates it.

Just a quick survey to the heroes and villains of Paragon World
What would your mode of transport be in the city of universe for your characters and if possible . . . why?
Ultimate Damz [ill/rad] - Motorbike. Now this is really reaching out there but he was built for speed and just driving past an enemy on a motorbike throwing off a confuse + spectral terror would be too good of a chance to miss.
Noob Buster [fire/dark scrapper] - Hoverboard. To me it fits the whole image of him being a bit childish and more up for doing his own thing rather than saving the world.
