Well, not really epic, it doesn't matter that they came via WP or ROTC, they have been in for less than 2 months and are O-1's.

Also, the Stripes for Skills program will let you walk out of AIT as an E-5, with a 4/6 year commitment. This could also be in the "less than 2 month" scenario.... but it depends on how long the AIT was or even if they had to attend it at all.

ROtc's could sign up with a NG unit while in ROTC and have the rank of E-5 while training with the NG.... this also counted as active duty pay time.... (sorry... but the name of that program escapes me).

Any way.... you can have a scenario were someone has less time in the service, with the same commitment and be of equal or higher rank.(I guess I should just said that first)

Pre 28, Spines/fire is a better pair than Spines/Da.
But post 28, if ya take COF, Spines/Da pulls ahead and stays ahead. OG just makes it better.

The wife and I have a pair of Spines/fires, and we work very well together.... and thats the real point. You need to work together, like you are one toon.
A pair of Spines/Da's should(w/cof&og) mow through content
faster than the wife and I can.

Also... I think West point cadets are give the same pay as an E-5.... Been awhile since I have heard it talked about though.

Oh a BS/fire.... I'd vote skip it.

But on a Spines/Fire....

The wife and I have a pair of Spines/Fires with burn and caltrops. Double impale and slows, tends to keep bosses in it.

And it does make a nice O-S power.... in the sense; "O-S!, the tank is in trouble..... burn baby, burn." And the tank gets a breather.

When speaking of Invul, that Psi hole is pretty easy to cover for about 200 inf and DP.
And the Psychic Clockwork King is late game stuff.... getting wrecked by it at that point really isn't a big problem.

But a KB IO is rather costly.... or you need a power pick with accro.

And if you don't plug it, DS, DR, COF and OG just don't work very well when you are not in the middle of the spawn.
Alittle kb and 4 powers fail.

And on a different note....

I met an honest to goodness ONE DAY OLD vet on sunday.
He had lots of questions.

Couldn't find a tram.
Couldn't find Paula Dempsy.
Couldn't find the hollows.
Didn't know how to turn on the map.
Was level 6 and a blaster....
Didn't wait for the tank or scrapper to lead the charge.
Wanted Fly so bad.....

But by the end of the 3rd mission.... he was doing ok.
And I hope, he took our advice about leveling up his first toon all by himself....

I can think of a few ways:
unplug from the internet(cat5 or unplug the router)
Kill the process through task manager
Shut off the computer

This process has been explained, but one feature that gets missed is DO's. TO's and SO's are easy. DAM will combine with DAM......
But DO's have two parts.... and if say, you have a lvl 15 ACC DO that is magic/? and another that is a lvl 15 ACC ?/magic, these two can be combined also.

Hi Honcho.
If all your after is tickets on a perma 12-15, there may
be a faster way to your goal.

There always seems to be alot of teams looking for Defenders.

You could go the buff route, Cold/ice, Sonic/Sonic,
anything Kin or Emp/anything.

AE teams would pick you up in a heart beat, and you would be rolling
in tickets.

Just a thought.

So.... the jist of this "Anniversary badges" issue is.....
Since your toon wasn't logged in or created while the Anniversary badges dropped. You want them to be retro active because your account was live during those times... correct?

Ok. So what does everybody else get? My daughter has a little Stormy sitting at LvL 11 with all 5 of the Anniversary badges. What does she get? The Heal Epic? Damage badges? Any and all other badges? She has been here long enough to earn all those other badges..... but she just doesn't log in that character. So... does she get anything?

I wanna see a Posi Plus badge.
Like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 times the victor.... but doing Posi instead.
Rules:
You must be in the lvl range of the TF, if you need to be ex'ed
you get the Standard posi badge. So if you out level it, your outta luck.

Solo, you get the Posi badge.
2 team mates... Posi Plus One.
all the way to:
Posi Plus Seven.

And truth be told... a full team of 8 in the level range that finishes Posi intact.... deserves a special damn badge!

Anyway.... that is my evil plan to get people out of the MA.
