Quote:Thanks for the info!I'll probably get both of these eventually but I got Ageless first. Rebirth adds an extra heal plus regen but Ageless covers our inherent weakness to debuffs. PB's are vulnerable to -recharge, -recovery, and -tohit debuffs. If I'm threatened, it's because -recharge is preventing heals/attacks from coming back in time or -recovery is forcing me to play less offensively. Those threats will become greater in pvp as people add interface proc's to their attack chain. For example, Gravitic interface can reduce recovery, rech, and heal values by 40%. Your regular heals would come up slower and all of them would heal you for 40% less. You can erase these threats with capped debuff resist from Ageless. Ageless is still an effective counter to these debuffs when it degrades to its lowest level. Ageless has no end cost and gives you a tier4 blue so you could use it to recover from a Light Form crash instead of Geas or a blue.
You can pick up Rebirth to try to be more like a regen, but you will still die to the things that kill regens... -rech and -recovery. Wouldn't it be nicer to get hit with heat exhaustion or slows and continue to fight like nothing happened (with more recharge) or do you really need a 3rd/4th heal that badly? -
My incarnate slots Update:
Alpha: Spiritual Tier 3
Destiny: Ageless Tier2
Judgment: Ion Tier 2
Interface: Reactive Tier 3
Lore: Seer Tier 2
For the few of us PB's that like to PvP, what do you guys like better for the Destiny Ageless or Rebirth? -
Is the damage a lot better with Alpha: Musculature tier 3? I proc the hell out of my attacks and got the Spiritual. I do notice the damage over time differense when I spam attacks, but I wondered if there is a noticeable difference with Musculature.

My incarnate slots:
Alpha: Spiritual (unlocked +3)
Destiny: Ageless (unlocked +1)
Judgment: Ion (unlocked +2)
Interface: Reactive (unlocked +1)
Lore: Seer (unlocked +2) -
I wish HEATS and VEATS could start off in the same zone at lower levels. I have done some high level duo missions with a Peacebringer(Triform)/Crab Spider and it was was pretty fun and we seemed to work well together. We both took turns tanking and doing range damage. He always held the aggro of the EB's with his Crab while I continued to heal him with Glowing Touch on my PB. It just seemed we had it all Range, Melee, Heals, Self Buffs, Debuffs, Pets, etc...

I have done an all Kheldian ITF on Triumph with 4 WS and 4 PB and it was a blast, but to this day the best ITF I have done is an EPIC AT ITF with 2 WS's, 2 PB's, 2 Arachnos Soldier's, and 2 Arachns Widows. The way the team worked was awesome.

Quote:Yes my PB's build is mad expensive; however, I did not pay for the IO's since it was given to me by a buddy that quit the game. You know when someone says that they are quitting and you ask "Can I Haz YouR Stuff"? Well one time it actually worked for me! o.O I dont think it is a waste of IO's since every time Log into the game that is the first character I log on as. I did make a Rad/Energy Blaster and tried to make it as close to my PB as possible and it is fun if I want quicker kills, but it dies way faster for my playstyle. I just enjoy fight people with an AT that is not the FoTM and that is not overplayed in PvP zones.building pbs for pvp is very pointless because your going to put in more money than you would building anything else for pvp and get a minimal return from it. not to mention pvp is broken.
i think soto had a human build that is floating around that is crazy expensive. basically all the attacks were proc/nuc slotted and all the res/heal powers used glad armors and pana's for HP buffs.
the easiest thing to do is slot nova for doing damage and dropping out to heal(while still slotting for HP) since most of the attacks have a higher range and still do some ok damage. but flying in zone is very risky.
in this specific situation, the pb wins hands down because WS are just that bad in pvp, not because pbs are that good in pvp. they just kind of happened to have all the stuff that was least hit by i13. -
Zone
1. I like how we dont get detoggled when held
2. I like how heroes and villian AT's are on both sides now
3. I like PvP IO drops (I wish they dropped more)
Arena
1. I like how we can select the match settings
2. (Same as above)
P.S. My Dislikes out weigh my like, but that is for another thread -
IMO...
Batman - MA/WP/Weapon Mastery Scrapper
Batgirl - MA/WP/Weapon Mastery Stalker
Robin - MA/Nin/Weapon Mastery Stalker -
Quote:Copied from Comicvine.comBats bending a gun? Citation please, he's got human levels of strength, not superhuman.
Because of Batman's physique, he has accomplished feats that normal human beings almost call superhuman! Batman has been said to know every martial art known to man, and out of every single one of those forms of fighting, Bruce knows 127 that are deadly. Those 127 are the main forms of fighting he uses, however he changes it up to seem unnatural to man or superhumans. Due to his training, Batman has also mastered all weapons known to man, and even guns. Batman's combat skills surpass any superhuman and normal man, that he even knows every pressure point and nerve strike. Which he inflicts dangerous pain to his enemies which can cause dizziness, numbness, unconsciousness, temporary paralyze, disorientation, and even death. He is in 100% physical peak in every area of his body and mind. He continues to change his schedule to fit with running Batman Incorporated and Wayne International.
It is possible for a real life man to do this (see link). Then why can't Batman do it?
http://www.history.com/shows/stan-le...s/bios#slide-4
Batman is at the peak of human condition and in the real world we have people bench pressing 1,000 pounds, so I believe this could happen (see link again).

When I get bored I usually end up switching what I have been doing for a while. For example, when I get bored of doing PvE, I will begin to PvP for a while. Even if it is not your thing to do just give it a try and it will seem like a totally different part of the game. The PvP and the PvE community are two different animals. When I get bored of PvPing then I work on mids and try to put together new builds for both PvE and PvP. Then I will focus all my attention on the build I just did and try to get it finished. I have done many AE missions for the tickets to get the recipe rolls, then I will do TF/SF for the merits to buy more recipes, then I take the recipes and build them and sell the ones I dont need and play the market.

I like Peacebringers better than Warshades because PB's can fly in human form.... PB FTW!!!

Awesome Comic!! looking forward to the next ones.

Sorry to see you go Turbo, but as long as you are happy that is all that matters. You will be missed.
-
I dont want to deal with switching forms and I was very happy with that build prior to the inherent fitness. It is not a waste if the IO's were free and I enjoy playing with the build. So the only horrible thing is being closed minded and only seeing things one way.

This is one of my current builds that I use for PvE on a all human PB.
1. Gleaming Bolt
2. Glinting Eye
3. Gleaming Blast
4. Luminous Detonation
5. Build Up
6. Incandescent Strike
7. Proton Scatter
Secondary (3 shields, 2 heals and 1 tier 9)
1. Incandescence
2. Shining Shield
3. Essence Boost
4. Thermal Shield
5. Quantum Shield
6. Reform Essence
7. Quantum Flight
8. Light Form
9. Conserve Energy
Power Pools
*Speed
1. Hasten
2. Super Speed
*Leaping (Acro is what is needed to help increase KB protection.)
1. Combat Jump
2. Super Jump
3. Acrobatics
*Leadership
1. Maneuvers
2. Tactics
3. Vengeance
I never felt the need to get tough and weave on my PB. When I am on a team I just wait for the team buffs from Cosmic Balance. I am not much of a flier, so I picked Super Speed and Super Jump for my travel powers. -
So far I got the Spiritual Radial Boost and I like it so far. I can heal for 564 every 17 seconds with Reform Essence, I have perma Essence Boost, and perma hasten on my human build. On my Tri form build I was able to heal for 1009 on my White Dwarf.

I did it with a Fort but not a NW. Took like 30 min, but I did it...lol
-
I could see scrappers getting ninjitsu, but I dont see tankers and brutes getting it in the future. IMO it just doesnt fit the brute and tanker theme since they both dont have ninja blades. I know they have Dual Blades, but all the other powers like War Mace, Stone Melee, Battle Axe, etc... would not look right.
-
IMO.... I would play the DM/SD if it is a brute... I have one and had fun leveling it. I just liked having darkest night(PPP) on defense based powerset and it is nice to have a small heal in the primary to help a little with SD since that power lacks a self heal. As for a scrapper I played a KM/Elec and it seemed to go well together and the secondary had a heal that made up for not having one in the primary.
-
Since I mainly play in all human form I was thinking that the Spiritual Alpha slot would be nice. I want the speed bonuses for quicker attacks and self buffing, the increased healing, and the to hit. I also want the Musculature for extra damage and defense debuff. What Alpha Slots are you thinking for your PB?
Does the Spiritual +health increase the HP to powers that grant HP? -
1. I would like to see new graphics for Granite. They should be able to add Stone shoulder pads, Stone helmet, Stone gloves, Stone Belt, etc... to make your granite look different than the rest.
2. I want to see an open hand claws animation. Tired of the knuckle popping claws.
3. I would like to see archery have a crossbow animation.
4. I have a fire/mm blaster named Hot Head and I would like to see fire blasts from the head like Psi.
5. I would like to see Spines have an Icicle animation since scrappers and stalkers dont have access to ice melee.
6. I would like the have different animation for Kheldian attack powers.
