While the PvP "improvements" have me really intrigued.... the rest was crap. There's no other way to put it. The Real Annoying comment was the "we've introduced new content for all lvl ranges". Sorry, but WRONG... the Villain lower levels and mid ranges have had Nothing. They really need a new Zone or 2 JUST for themselves. A 1-15 zone would be great, just to get away from Mercy and PO.
Don't get me wrong, I love the faultline and Hollows remakes.. but with 40+ people, its time to start dedicating a couple to giving red-side some choices. I'm almost to the point where I HATE making a new villain because I can't stand Mercy/PO.

My guess, they are ... "re-prioritizing" what other features are going into I13. Not too many to overshadow the MA but enough to keep the other people happy.

Either that or they put Silver Mantis in charge of Marketing to "speed up" the announcements and um.. they need to do a new round of hiring.. fast !

If I didn't already have a WM/SR and a SM/EA Brute I'd make one just so I can be STRONG & PRETTY too.. still tempted...

Definitely Brass Monday, without a doubt.

But I'd love also to see some of the other "lesser storylines fleshed out. Like The Hollowing or Eden.. fighting to make sure they weren't worse than they were. Also.. Reliving the original Rularuu Invasion.. fighting Eyeballs in Steel Canyon? Sign me up please!

Also.. The Reichsman... any villain that can go toe to toe with an entire TEAM and come out with technically a draw.. that would be an epic TF.

The Price Point was probably set that high specifically to prevent it from being used casually. As many have pointed out there are a number of ways to gain a Respec in-game. BUT.. and this must be considered.. the almost-ADD "I want it NOW!!!!" mentality is a huge presence in the MMO population- and this caters to that just fine. This also undercuts the RMT groups since instead of dropping $30+ to get 200 million influence you can just drop a ten and be done.

And, if its something most naysayers will never use, why complain about it? Even the arguement about "development time better spent" is flawed. I'm guessing most of the coding was done on the NCSoft financial server side- Posi & crew were likely minimally involed. (IE Posi, where is the code bit regarding Respec Recipes? Thankies- now to plug that into the existing "store" formula ala GvE pack...)

This is incredible.. BUT.. I only have 1 request. PLEASE allow EBs in the player-created content and put Hardcase in as an EB.. so my villain can spend an entire ARC beating the crap out of that sanctimonious jerk!

Later I played Schadenfreude (27 AR/traps corruptor) on a Sharkhead SF organized on LBx channel. Our team mix was:

SS/nrg brute
dark/nrg brute
fire/therm corruptor
rad/rad corruptor

The stalker was named "Man from Innsmouth" and so I immediately accused him of having "the Innsmouth look" and being a spy for Calystix. This really only makes sense if you know much about the Cthulhu mythos, but several players on the team got the joke, calling the situation "fishy". This SF went pretty well except, ironically, on a Kill X Longbow in Nerva mission, where about half the team got pinned down and killed by a Toxic turret in Agincourt. The poison gas they shoot is nasty! Schadenfreude got to level 29 on this SF, getting the Seeker Drones power at 28. This is my second attempt at a traps corruptor and I'm finding it more fun this time; partly the "Real Numbers" makes the benefit of various traps more obvious now (before, I kinda had to just believe they did something) and partly because I know how to use traps better now.

Agreed! I had a BLAST these past 2 weeks. I got the accolade on all my main toons that I care about, so I'm set on that. It was so much fun (And Madness) to see everyone in a zone rush to 1 location to "make a stand". The best was in Mercy last night, there were so many Rikti porting in I couldn't see anything on my screen but aliens. (Although I never want to get that "up close and personal" to a Chief Mesmerist again!!)
Standing shoulder to shoulder with lvl 1s and 50s was just.. wow.

Now... ahem... "WHEN are we getting Issue 11 on Test??"- you know someone HAD to say it.

My new favorite pasttime is Diving into the middle of a HUGE brawl full of invading Rikti with a full Fury bar, Rage, 2-3 Reds, and multiple Fulcrum Shifts and hitting Foot Stomp! Even with stacked SB and AM, it STILL doesn't Recharge fast enough!!! And I STILL miss the old screen shake of Foot Stomp, who cares about cracks in the floor... I'm already breaking some mother's back, I don't need to step on said crack

Elliot Gold grew up in a housing project in Philadelphia. He was strong and tough even as a child. In hgh school he started to look for an escape from the drugs and violence swirling around him. Ironically he found it at Gold's Gym. Weightlifting and boxing became his passion, his safety. As a young man he campaigned for youth programs at the gym to help other youths get away from the danger of the streets. He also was a champion weightlifter by the time he was 21 and a decent amatuer heavyweight boxer. He moved to Paragon and opened his own Gold's gym in Galaxy City. But even here in Paragon the constant gang violence ate away at him.. he could not stand by nd watch- he started neighborhood watches and tried to thrwart the Hellions at every turn. His frevor very soon attracted their ire...
A gang of hellions broke in to his gym late one night to 'teach him a lesson'- to their mistake. When the police arrived, all of the hellions were unconscious and tied up, and Elliot didnt have a bruise on him! Security tapes later showed him standing in the middle of the group weathering blow after blow without blinking, laying out punks with 1 punch... and even shrugging off bullets as if his skin was steel! That night Elliot knew trying to reach out to youths was not enough, he would have to take the fight to the criminals. Benchpresser was born! Now he stalks the back alleys and streets of the city bringing the criminals to justice with a lot of heart, a little trashtalk, and one helluva punch!
