    I've seen this a few times and I find it weird. I took a guy who had his alpha unlocked (but not level shifted) and was able to unlock all four of my slots going through the arcs a 0/4 and running maybe three or four trials...

    It isn't really that slow...and I honestly don't know how fast it would have to be to make it reasonable and yet get people to stop complaining.
  2. Based on Paragonwiki I see that the base regen reduction is 15% and can stack up to four times and last 10 seconds. Does that mean if I hit a guy with two attacks in 10 seconds that for a brief moment he'd have 30% regen reduction?
  3. Maybe my question had too many options. Would you build an Elec brute to maximize Psy Resist, S/L Resist or S/L Defense??

  4. Final build actually focuses more on S/L defense and would be the most expensive build...would prefer not to go this route, but if it would make him most playable I'd figure it out.

  6. I've messed around and came up with three builds for my lvl 40 Elec/StJ tank. Have to admit that so far he doesn't feel very "tanky", so here are the builds

    The first build gets me to 82% in Psionic Resist, but the attacks will all be end heavy

    Demons/Time

    Any suggestions on what to target in a build? First Mastermind and from my understanding recharge bonuses don't apply to Pets. But, would it make sense to try and push for as much Rech as possible to get all of Time's buffs up more often?

    Other tpes of sets I should target instead?

    Signature arcs?

    1) I have only ran it on my MM. This was my first MM, but i would say that the maps aren't really built all that well for your pets. Lots of time they hung out in lava.

    2) In case anyone cares...I beat "Synapse" by just hovering over the lava and he just kept running around the map spending most of the time in the lava. Basically he killed himself in about 5 minutes.
  10. I am a bit confused...why would someone not be willing to share a build of theirs? It seems the only reason would be for PvP purpose, which is a miniscule concern. Other then that it seems like you're just being oddly selfish about something that would have no direct effect to your ability to enjoy the game.

    2) There are people out there that don't think they can IO out a toon without over $100M INFLUENCE? Especially now that we have access to A Merits and Reward Merits? If you can't afford to IO out a toon with common or yellow recipe level enhancements then you are doing something terribly wrong.

    Obviously a build with Purple and PVP IO sets are a different matter. But, I built a KM/Fire Scrapper to the S/L Soft Cap which required me to get 5 Kinetic Combat triples and was able to achieve all of that with normal game play.
  12. I don't get what you mean. Say they limited the Threads to 100 (random number) because they knew the next steps would take at least 1000 Threads to move up the chains it would mean they would prevent the worry of certain players being able to immediately get the next powers.

    I would assume that the biggest reason they don't put a cap is that people would complain about an artificial cap and not being able to advance their toon. But, you could also argue that it would help to facilitate using your alts.
  13. If we are going to use Astral Merits in the future why don't they just cap the amount you can gather now so that they don't need to make a whole new currency for the next step?? If they need to expand the cap with the next step they can.
  14. - I had a ton of lag on the BAFs I ran post patch.

    - A bit OT...does anyone know how to get around the Lag in the warehouse rooms during the Lambada Grenade run? Many times I literally just freeze when I try and run into those rooms. Making me entirely useless to the team. I already have my graphics turned down to minimum.
  15. I have much more problem with the Lag in the Lamda trial. Before creating new content I'd love for them to fix that warehouse room so that it doesn't force me to turn my graphics to minimum to avoid lag...

    Is there a thread or area I can see what each pet does and powers they provide for each level of the tree? Going through the UI in the game is really difficult and I still don't think it is very clear what you "gain" going up each level (except for the level shift of course).

  17. What I don't get is why people are complaining so much about the Incarnate system "grind" when unlocking these slots are way eaisier (in my experience) then trying to "purlple out" your hero. I know that as a casual player I could probably never really fully purple out a player...Incarnate hasn't been nearly as difficult.

    Also...if you only solo and don't do TFs...are you even playing your 50s? Seems like there is really no reason to play your 50s if you refuse to do a TF or team.

  19. So my question is by changing from Weapons Master to Body Mastery I could have the following build. My endurance management would increase, but I would go from 42.5% S/L def to 40% S/L. In this scenario I was thinking I could go with the Spiritual Radial Boost and get an increased Rech and Heal which would help my Healing Flames power (amongst others)

    Which one do the fourm people think is a better option?

  20. I just got my KM/FA to 50 and have been running the following build. The pros of the build is that it is essentially soft capped for S/L and provides surivability. The cons of the build is overall endurance mangement. With that said I was thinking of going with the Radial Boost Alpha Slot since it would help with the end issues and should also increase my Damage Resistance

    Here is my build. As you can see it gets me 46.9% Fire/Cold and 44.1 NRG/NEG. I guess if I was worried about the Eradication sets I could remove one and lose 6.26% AOE and 3.12% F/C Defense...notu sure if that would be worth it though. Let me know what you guys think.

  24. With my scrapper I do BF then the Sweep combo followed by BF and the AV combo over and over. But, Im sure there is a better way.

    DB/WP Build

    Anyone have an I-19 DB/WP Build? I have one at home that I can post, but was wondering what others were doing. My build has soft capped defense for NRG, NEG, Fire and Cold and about 33% defe on Smash/Lethal.

    My biggest concern with the build is that the PBAOE attacks are six slotted Eradications so the damage is only 90% enhanced. I could get the DMG alpha slot I guess, but haven't decided one what alpha slot to pursue (suggestions there would be great as well)
