this build just hurts my head, dude, go search the other fire/kin threads that exsist before you come back and try to defend that...you'll then see why you got ripped a new one...hopefully (not holding out much hope there)
-
-
change up the fire mastery for earth mastery....there are a few other things that needs to be changed.....some of the powers you don't need that can be replaced by others....this build would be fine for teaming and being support but not for farming.
-
it's more hotfeet+fire cages+fissure+seismic smash=big time damage and in the containment and stritigic application of both your holds and stunns. the basic attack chain looks something like flashfire>firecages>move into melee for hotfeet>fulcrum shift>then either another application of fire cages or in my case throwing out cinders and usually everything is most the way gone....and I've slotted my attacks for damage....and I didn't skimp on the IO's. so your not looking at any one power doing the brunt of the damage but the conglameration of them all...with hotfeet kicking the most a$$

ok a few things....first my build

you have some powers in there that you don't need with proper slotting in other powers...you don't need boxing, tough or weave and you really don't need hasten as long as you remember to pop off siphen speed every chance you get, if you slot a karma knock back proc in combat jumping and the knock back proc from blessing of the zepher you'll be fine from knockback as for touch and weave? you don't really need it but if you can fit it thats fine...instead of intertial reduction at the end? get the earth's embrace. also? slot for damage and not the holds, by the time you get into the mob they'll be half dead anyway and theres no need for the hold at that point...I'm glad to see that you didn't go ring of fire, plug this build into mids and check the numbers...it's very suvivable and I've out tanked tanks before...there are a few things I should mention...this is not my expensive build, I'm saving that for my f.rad so you can switch up the sets to the more expensive ones if you want to, keep an eye on the number when you do. also don't really try to slot for regen on this...it's really hard to get it to be decent numbers and if you do your taking away from things like recovery or damage or accuracy....which is waaaay more helpful...since you can have 2 heals.
-
I put that in my stamina so I wouldn't have to worry about were the +end ended up. as slotting transfusion? I found that forgoing sets in it actually worked the power better than slotting it with sets...just go with regular IO's and put the sets in your other powers...at least thats what I found to be more effective
-
well....it's nice that all CoX players are on the same boards together...bad thing is that the links within posts are broken....like in the guide to guides....other than that and the search function being funky about finding things...I guess I can live with it....but I'll miss the old forums....and the history that was found there.
-
Sylphy, that was a wonderful time taking out those ships....thank you for organizing this....now I need to do a Rikti Drop Ship raid spec for my f.rad...dang you *shakes fits*
*is waiting anxiously for the video* -
I have one of these... and I love it

I noticed you skipping short circuit. I'd never leave home without it. Well slotted, you can drain almost all minions with 1 - 2 applications. Transfusion, Ball lightning, and your elec attacks will keep em down, negating a lot of potential damage.
[/ QUOTE ]
yes, don't miss short circuit, you'll want to slot it for endurance modifiers, at early levels it you've slotted your transfusion as well with endo mods you'll be able to sapp that one targets endurance almost completly and gotten most of the mobs endo at the same time.
also with this build you'll probably find yourself running into the middle of the mob directly after the tanks/scrappers to grab your fulcrum shift, because I find myself there I took dark mastery for the AoE stun toggle...it's much fun, but thats a personal preference of mine.
the main things you'll be able to do with this build is sap enderance like none other, and floor an Archvillian's regeneration with putting transfusion on auto on the target.
check out the build guides, theres some good info stored there and don't be afraid to send pm's to anyone that you notice has listed a kin/ele in their sigs, most of us can answer really specific questions that come up that might not be in the guides.
edit:
Kin/Ice is also a very nice build....ice has very nice burst damage and with the rain you have the potential of some very nice DoT damage. -
that would be awsome, but it would have to be made on every server
-
-
no, it makes us the best, as Kheld wanted to be most like Defender.

dark/dark gets my vote
so...

I find it funny to see someone knocking another's build without first trying it out. Just remember there isn't any one way to build a blaster. Different play styles dictate different powers.
I, personaly, do not play blasters, but I've teamed with this one, and with his play style he fits in well with a team. And that is the most important thing about his play style, this build helps him fit in with almost any team. -
if you don't name your pets something completly different you have to use their whole name in your bind. Also when doing pet binds, while you can take shortcuts within the bind when your just starting out binding your pets its safer to enter the entier bind command rather then the shortened version of it.
and Slodeine as far as I know, no you can't do that. thats what you have the power icon for. -
thanks Winza those are great

ok, that was a good laugh......I'll be thinking about this all day.
