  1. STill not happy... why.. because Dominators are being treated once again like the ugly baby sister that gets the Controller hand me down..

    They need to make a GOOD set that is UNIQUE to dominators.. Not something that Dominators get because Controllers are getting it too.. That used to be plant... Then controllers got it

    And in all honesty I DONT want Illusion control on Doms..I want them to make something for DOMS.. period...
  2. Im hoping that this isnt all you have planned for Dominators going forward because one measly set still doesnt make up for the fact they didnt get jack last issue and have the fewest number of playable choices in AT's that have choices.

    Stalkers have needed love for some time and finally they are getting it ( I dont play stalkers but recognize the need for improvement of the AT ).

    Doms have been getting the shaft for a while now.
  3. i figured I would dip into Force Mastery for Explosive Blast and Energy Torrent for some more AoE damage and it fits the theme. This toon will need hover because it will probably do decent knockback.
  4. I need to do something Dom while waiting for new Dom stuff and I have never played a Mind character. I dont want /Fire because I already have enough Fire toons. I was thinking Mind/NRG would be a good combo especially since I already have a set of fortunata purples and a confuse set of purples on another toon I am stripping because I dont play him much.

    My thought is to make a Mental/TK character and this combo seems to fit that concept well.

    Anyone play one that can share some advice, tricks or tips?

  8. Thanks everyone here is my first prelim attempt at a build and Uni's build was very helpful.

    I might ditch a few slots here and that Atomic Blast Nuke will go away.. I figure with as much damage as I will pump out especially once I get the Reactive Proc from Incarnate I wont even want any downtime. I might get some Electron Haze in there instead but then I would have to pull a few slots for somewhere else and I kind of like him the way he is.

    I think im looking at 34% defense Smash/Lethal and Ranged with Energy with around 49. I think thats pretty respectable and should help his survival.

  9. I dont know what happened but CoH is running like molasses in wintertime on this Macbook now. I am no Mac expert but it ran fine until the last patch. Now its like I am watching ad oil painting. i cant even type in game well.

    I dont even know how to verify files like you can on a PC..

    any help would be great..

  10. All I know is that I was playing fine on my old ATI 9600 graphics card on my PC for YEARS on performance and then going down to minimum on Hami-Raids and the like..

    Since this last patch I crash A LOT while standing still in RWZ.. even if there are not a lot of people in zone...

    Ever since that thing that tells me my drivers are out of date ( and I have the latest drivers possible for my card ) ive been crashing REPEATEDLY.. I mean a bad crash where it locks up my whole PC...

  12. I tried a Rad/Fire once.. I couldnt handle the amount of aggro in created. The amount of damage it pumped out was impressive. I am going to try again using Mids to help me focus defense better.

    If I can get it to work I am going to transfer a little used 50 to Exalted probably just to play him on Virtue.

    I dont understand why people spend 50,000 on a car..

    So I dont own any of those things. I dont run around questioning why those things or made or why they are the price they are. I simply exercise My choice NOT to buy them.

    However some people dont understand why I spend over 3,000 on a bicycle.

  15. Yes you read that right.. Street Justice which I paid for and PLAYED to level 34 suddenly I cannot access it because I dont have access to the powerset from the login screen. Was on that toon last night.. cant play after issue 21 Media Blitz..

  17. WTH !!!! i cant play my Street Justice character ???!!!!! I log on and the game tells me I cant play my level 35 Street Justice character because I dont have access to the powerset ??!!! I bought it and played it to 35!!!!!!

    Worst release EVER people.. EVER !!!!
  18. Did they reduce the recharge time on Chrono Shift.. that was in the test server notes but I dont see it on the live patch notes.
  19. my KM/EA is sitting pretty @ 46 right now getting ready for the big push to 50 ( which means ITF's and LGTF's for me )

    He is a pretty darn good toon. He isnt at the soft cap just yet, but a few more tweaks and he will be very close which is fine because I pop Energy Drain as soon as I hit a mob. He has a ton of recharge built in and the additional recharge from Entropic Aura means everythig recharges very quickly.

    At level 42 I was taking on level 47 Malta with no problem.

    Defense debuffs are very noticeable, not as much defense debuffs resists like SR.

    All in all a very good toon and If I can reach my goal it will be awesome..

    Perma Hasten.
    Perma Energize.
    Perma Power Siphon.
    Perma Energy Drain.
    Perma Power Siphon.


    I know 1 and 2 are possible because I did it on my SS/ELA tank.

  20. I support the idea of alowing the Hero Corps people and Fateweavers to be used for respecs. That gives more options.

    Respec is particularly annoying on rogues who are blueside or vigilantes who are redside.

    My point is, everything you said makes Time brilliant with Grav makes it brilliant with other primaries too, possibly fire being a runaway winner especially since it provides a bit more control to an otherwise damage heavy primary. Don't get me wrong, im not saying its not viable, it totally is, but in my opinion Time fixes the control issues Gravity has and makes it feel like your playing one giant control primary. Whereas Time supliments other primaries in much better ways, as opposed to just rounding out a sub-par set.

    What makes Grav/Storm awesome is Wormholing a group into a corner (if one is available) Hurrican on to lock them in, Freezing Rain Tornado and Lightning Storm and watch the death unfold.

    In Theory anyway, its quite a situationally useful combo, but I enjoy that, if my interest in my grav controller fizzled out in the mid 30s
    Yes Time is a very good secondary which works well with other primaries as well. But the OP didnt ask about other primaries. They want to play Grav. so all the references to fire are kind of moot.
