    As I said, not very intuitive though.
    All they have to do is change "Create" to "Downgrade" or "Sidegrade", and it's easily understood.

    I *just* went into game and verified this. Level 5 corr, level 1 MM. Level 1 sent the level 5 a pact invite, which (of course) was accepted. Result: Level 1 is still level 1, level 5 is still level 5.

    Now, if they TEAM, of course, there'll be exemping/sking. But just being in a pact doesn't do jack to the higher level's level.
    Memphis_Bill is correct. The higher level character doesn't get XP until the lower level character catches up. All XP the higher level character generates is given to the lower level character, so for up to four levels, the lower level character gets DXP.

    Missing Auras

The Aura mission is actually a talk-to followed by 3 consecutive hunts, (Freakshow, Rikti, Devouring Earth though perhaps not that order - all found in Crey's Folly) then I think one last talk-to.

    Third, I can't remember the exact time auras unlock, but it is probably when you turn in the mission to the Rep.

    Fourth, there is no fourth.
    This is correct, except for the fourth. There is a fourth, but we're not tellin'.
  4. I can keep CM perma on the whole team (I don't, though; I CM reactively for the most part except for folks who NEED to not be mezzed: radiation emission, etc.), I can keep Fort perma on four people with some overlap (I haven't dipped much into +recharge), AB is a ways off from perma (again, not much +recharge; it matches the typical recharge for a crashy blaster nuke).

    However, there's plenty of times I'm so busy on my empath (namesake, Aggelakis, on Justice) that sometimes I forget to buff my team.

    OH GOD, THE HUMANITY! I'm only Forting three people instead of four! EGADS! Well, give us a few seconds to finish off this spawn, I'll Fort ya between the next.

    WAIT!!! OMG WAIT!!! Someone's CM dropped off ... oh well, no one in the next spawn does any mez anyway, and by the time we get to the spawn after that, which may or may not have a mezzer, the Controller's AoE hold will be up again.

    The only things I do keep a very close eye on are the RAs. Those buffs really, truly can make the difference between dying and not. Not counting the heals/AB (because AB for me is situational due to recharge), these are probably the biggest boons of the set. And for pretty much the entire duration of Regen Aura, I don't have to worry about people's health bars and can blast like a crazy person. (Because I am. Crazy.)
  5. Auto-power an attack.

    Don't auto-follow.

    Use your brain to buff/heal/move.

    Use your attacks.

    Very odd.
    If you are on a team that has someone talk to the Latin Student while you're in Steel Canyon, you will get the badge even if you haven't even started the arc. This is why I always offer my Latin Student mission to badge channels when I get there.
  7. Note that you can't use "complete mission" on every mission. Badges, timed missions, end-of-arc missions, missions the devs decided are too important to be skippable, and a scattering of other missions.

    Provably irrelevant; see recent thread on Incarnate Rewards in the Dev Digest. Participation metric does not count damage points.
  9. They could give an extra reward at the end for people who did not join as part of a full team/league.

    Perhaps tier it so that if a league is
    -- under X members (perhaps 30%?), it gets the best reward;
    -- under Y members (60%?), over X members, it gets a second-tier, not-as-good-as-first reward;
    -- under Z members (max), over Y members, it gets a third-tier reward;
    -- if full, no extra reward.

    Folks would game it by joining queue as several small groups at the same time, but that doesn't necessarily guarantee that everyone who queues will be in the same league.
  10. I thought so... um. I may be totally misremembering that though. o.o; Now I can't find any mention of it in patches.

    YOU are talking about the search tool, which is found by clicking "Search" in your team/League window.
  12. You can look at power animations by starting the character creator, selecting the appropriate power sets, then going to the Powers tab. Select different powers to see each one's animation.

    Macro help

    /macro MACRONAME "emote EMOTENAME"

    In order to show the flyposes, you have to be moving forward first.

    Programs installed into the Program Files folder tend to put stuff into the Virtual Store in order to play nice with UAC/permissions. Programs installed outside of that don't have to worry about that.
  16. If they are not in your installation directory, you probably have Vista or Win7, in which case they are stored in your Virtual Store:
    C:\Users\"name"\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\

    All heals except one are clicks. Every single heal in the game - except the heal-over-time toggle that Pain Dom Corruptors have - is a click power.

    Regeneration, on the other hand, can be any kind of power - auto, click, or toggle.

    you don't have status protection around level 10 when you really start needing it
    Use tactics and strategy for six more levels; I promise you, it won't take that long. City leveling is stupid-fast.

    Fight pool for resistance, Maneuvers/CJ/Hover/Fight/set bonuses for defense. Though honestly, later on, you don't really need it.

    Honestly, my level 50 claws/regen scrapper (who only has pretty minimal defense and next to no resistance) pretty much never dies unless she accidentally takes too large an alpha attack. And even then, she's back up immediately because of the self-rez. I change all my green and blue insps into reds.

    Really, you need to give powersets longer than level 10 to know how they perform. Pretty close to nothing performs well at level 10.

  19. You can even use a NA installation to get on the current EU servers by renaming CohUpdater.exe to CohUpdater.eu.exe - it'll do a little fixing files (probably to implement language flags) - and then you're good to go. Precious little difference between the two.

    (I have no idea how to do it from the new NCLauncher, but with the old updater, super simple.)
  20. Check your spam folder. All my pw reset emails (I choose weird unguessable passwords [no real words] that I forget ) have been there within a minute, usually pretty much instantaneous.
  21. 1. No idea.
    2. No. The account structure will still be separate; you'll just be able to access the other servers.
  22. Slot a karma -kb in Hover, BOOM! Instantly immune to pretty much 85%+ of the knockback/up in the game.
  23. Derp. I don't know why I said "Rogue or" there, I think maybe I was starting to say something else and changed my mind. Brain fart there, I blame it on posting while mostly asleep. *heads off to bed*

    I seem to remember something about that, something in the back of my head going, "...yeah... *squint*". Or it may just be that I'm crazy.
