The New Chat/Team box is to large!

Title says it all. Is there any way that I could shrink it? I really don't need or use the 4 extra tab boxes they gave us, and only use the search for incarnate trials on my lv 50s (naturally). The way it is now just takes up to much of the screen for me, and I don't really want to have to change my resolution and shrink my powers bars. I'm not adverse to removing some of the new features (like the numbered tabs) if that will give me back some room. Any help to be had?

If I can still hit it, I'm not getting enough xp!

I agree with the OP. The new team UI is too big!

I agree with the OP too. Especially in an iTrial with both the league window and the iTrial progress window open, my screen can get pretty cluttered, even at 1680x1050.

If "detached" from being anchored (you know, the little blue button in the top-left corner?), the window can be resized using the bottom-right corner. It can be made pretty small (this is true of the League window as well).

Go into options and shrink the window scale down. Takes like...10 seconds. Shrinking mine down to 95% works just fine for me.

I tried the window scale and don't like it. The text inside the downsized window doesn't smooth properly and looks strange even if you increase the font size.

I'm trying to adjust to not being able to fit as much between chat and power bars but I would much prefer being able to resize the chat window back to any size I want.

If it is a problem with the horizontal league window there is already a fix for that - it auto-undocks when it is going to be wider than the chat window. So if I resize my chat box down "too small" it should just do that.

Well, you can either sit here whining about it and hoping the devs change it (hint: It's probably not going to happen, since you can change it yourself), or you can use the tools they provided to take care of what bothers you yourself.

/optionsave - on a character set up properly
/optionload - on every other character

OMG OGM OMGOMG OSFMSODFKNSDR takes like 10 seconds. TOO MUCH TIME OMG.

(ps; that was silly sarcasm.)

Well, not sitting here whining, as I happened to forget about this for a few days (I've actually been running trials).

Actually, I do have a question about this. Yes, I had thought about doing this but I could have sworn the last time I saved and loaded it also saved and changed window colors. Now, I am probably odd in that I do actually change those in some cases. But to me it wouldn't be worth it if I would save one setting but overwrite another (but would gladly do it if that's not actually the behavior).

You can do something like this:

/optionsave <-- for when you don't want to have a particular color (my default is gray)
/optionsavefile redoptions <-- villain red
/optionsavefile blueoptions <-- hero blue
/optionsavefile magentaoptions <-- a custom color you made in the last options tab
/optionsavefile polkadotoptions <-- itty bitty teeny weeny yellow polka dot windows

(ps, that last option isn't possible, City won't let us style our windows with polka dots. More's the shame!)
