  1. Dmitri Krylov in Ashley McKnight's origins explanations arc.

I actually only remember that because I love how Dmitri Krylov is written and pretty much all of his dialogue ever written is stuck in my head. Also, Fake Russian Accent.
  2. How does the OP have a MA arc about Croatoa without knowing anything about Croatoa's most famous "monster"? (I'd also mention registration date indicating a higher knowledge of the game, but that doesn't always mean anything, as people come and go all the time.)

Level 47 minions, Level 46 Lieutenants, Level 45 Bosses, Level 44 EBs and AVs. As long as they con light-gray, you can get drops from them (there's two grays; one gray you can get rewards from, one you cannot; I have no idea why they used two grays). However, the second part is true; you won't get purples from anything 46 and lower.
  4. Yeah, I had a feeling it was just a matter of "doing it wrong" (based on the player's history) and that right there (he's using the most up to date Mids) confirms it. I have no idea what to suggest. I think what he needs is video walkthroughs and one-on-one time with someone standing over his shoulder, but that's never going to happen.

What the hell does this sentence even mean.

Veteran powers cannot be slotted, and do not affect your character's stat totals, so their inclusion in Mids isn't necessary. When you're looking at your Mids build, go "OK, this is what my character has, and also <veteran power list, which doesn't change anything about what the build lists>"

Mids is updated to include everything from Issue 20, including Incarnates, so I'm pretty sure about that.

Generally Endurance Cost, because nearly every power in the game can have its endurance cost reduced via enhancements.

Endmod is good, but fewer powers utilize it. The powers that *do* utilize it typically do so very well, and THOSE powers, you want to focus on endmod and not endrdx. But other powers? Endrdx (nearly all of them can't even slot/use endmod).
  10. Huh. Just attempted this myself.

    1. Verified chat.txt contents.
    2. Left channel.
    3. Verified channel lists.
    4. /chatsave
    5. Verify chat.txt settings - it's still listed there.
    6. Logged back in, still not in channel
    7. Quit to desktop
    8. Verify chat.txt settings - it's still listed there.
    9. Delete the line containing channel name.
    10. Logged back in, still not in channel, no adverse effects.
    11. Joined channel again

It looks like it simply doesn't remove them after addition. I had channels listed where I joined temporarily for one night for events; old channels for friends who have migrated on and I've left the channel; etc. Deleted those with no ill effects either.

Well, you can just delete the lines from the file without worrying about corrupting it, looks like. They're deliberately editable.

Computer without AGP? Unless this was more than five years ago, I should hope not! AGP was pretty much phased out by about 2005ish in favor of PCIe, which outperforms it in every way. If you have a list of specs, you don't have to look inside the computer unless you're interested in airflow. Which, granted, is important, but a spec sheet will give you everything else that looking inside the computer would give you. And stores are required to carry spec sheets for everything they carry. You may have to have the sales person literally dig it out (the average joe goes "hey! it says XYZ, that's good right?" and the sales person goes "totally yeah!" and average joe goes "sold!")

    LAMDA bites

I've done LAMBDA a couple times on my emp and regen scrapper (squishiest scrapper ever) and neither one died very often. Agge has one (1) (a single) IO slotted (BOTZ -KB), and Maggie has half of her enhancement slots empty due to a rework of her build. Neither have any incarnate abilities slotted at all.

They could even re-use powers like Surveillance and copy paste Storm Walk and Steamy Mist--though I'd prefer an Infiltration power that did something cool like +Perception +Range. This set could also have a self-rez with built in Vengeance.
Hello, my name is Soldiers of Arachnos. They're pretty much what you're describing with some additions and removals. Take a look at their secondaries sometime, especially Soldiers (e.g. Crabs and Banes).
  14. To get more trays on screen, push the little plus symbol on the top-right of the power tray. Ten power trays is WAY more than sufficient.

Also, I was highly amused as I read this, because each time you used capslock, my brain voice started shouting, then went back to normal voice for your normal text, then shouted again, then normal, etc. It didn't help your argument.
  15. Have you ACTUALLY LEFT the channels, or did you just remove the channels from your tabs? Because it takes more than just removing the channels from your tabs to LEAVE the channel.

If you haven't actually LEFT the channels: open up your friends list, then select the channel name from the list so you get the online member list. One of the bottom buttons will be either [leave] or [leave channel]. Click that to leave.

If you HAVE left the channels already, Snow's got your deal up above.
  16. *snrk* I didn't even think of modding, even though I went and looked to see if I could find that corset (which I didn't).

Aisling references - will have to wait to officially request one until I have the money for it, but thought I'd post while I had it in my head.
The Secret of Kells is such a beautiful movie. And the story is top-notch.

I've also wondered this, but I have never, ever, EVER wondered why they don't sell costume slots PER CHARACTER. I would certainly never buy costume slots PER CHARACTER. I would certainly buy costume slots that opened account-wide, but there's no way in heck I'm buying something with real money, something COSMETIC, that only affects ONE CHARACTER.

A hero/vigilante can't enter the villain version of Ouroborus or a villain base, and a villain/rogue can't enter the hero version of Ouroborus or a hero base. That has been a limitation ever since Issue 18 has been in closed beta, to my knowledge.

Black Scorpion and Second Measure during a recent ustream chat (At around time index 1:29:30.) said that in order to have a co-op Ouroborus they would have to re-write the zone, the contact system, and the mission system.
I don't see the OP asking for a co-op Ouro. I don't think I've seen it at all from anyone except YOU.

    1) The OP wants the ability for a Rogue to use Ouro (they get the Villain copy) to go to Paragon City, by a crystal with the Hero copy's zone list, possibly locked behind a door in the Ouro citadel that only Rogues can get through.

    2) The OP wants the ability for a Vigilante to use Ouro (they get the Hero copy) to go to the Rogue Isles, by a crystal with the Villain copy's zone list, possibly locked behind a door in the Ouro citadel that only Vigilantes can get through.

Neither of these things requires changing the zone into a cooperative zone. Both of these things require minimally changing the zone. Either by A) adding a door to each that uses the same flagging technology as the door to Recluse's Victory in Atlas Park that denies Rogues/Vigilantes access, which instead allows Rogues/Vigilantes (or more likely: denies Heroes/Villains) access to a small room that contains a sekrit crystal; or B) just adding a second crystal that somehow utilizes flagging technology so that only Rogues/Vigilantes can use it.

  21. Who are you quoting "doing it wrong"? Cos no one said that. Everyone is saying that your expectations do not match the game's design.

    7 Year Titles

The only event that the devs attended AND which gave a code, both of which the OP references, was the Praetorian Surge. I was not aware that the devs were on hand for the "month-ish" of other server attacks. I know for certain no codes were advertised to be given out for any of those, so the OP is obviously not talking about them.

Checking it in Mids, the uncapped speed of it is 171 mph, or around three times the current flight cap. But since it obeys the cap, it goes no faster than normal flight. Which is kind of stupid, in my opinion.
I just want to point out that Flight didn't always cap out of the box. Quantum Flight was useful, as was the GvE Jump Pack (which boosts flight speed), as was Speed Boost while Flying, etc. Flight used to require a LOT of enhancement to do anything with it.
