Looking for Build Gurus
You should check out the individual AT forums. They should have a decent amount of builds that you could check out. Also, have you downloaded Mid's Hero Builder yet? If you haven't, you should. It lets you build characters outside of the game, to see how you might want to slot a given character.

The midi builder is used to redo a build but it doesn't allow me to "optimize" a build. I really tried that tool before I posted here but it is so unfriendly. It's like it's based on the old way the game worked. I just hate it. Lately, the 3rd party stuff is become so dated/so far behind it just creates frustration when I try to use them.

What, exactly is your goal here? Are you looking for advice regarding full on IO Set builds or something more along the lines of a Frankenslotting build?

Erm... I don't know what program you're using, but Mids is updated with each issue, usually very close to the issue launch. It has never been outdated as long as I've been playing with it.

Generally Endurance Cost, because nearly every power in the game can have its endurance cost reduced via enhancements.
Next, I keep coming back to this question. Endurance Modification vs. Endurance Cost, which one is more valuable/useful?

Endmod is good, but fewer powers utilize it. The powers that *do* utilize it typically do so very well, and THOSE powers, you want to focus on endmod and not endrdx. But other powers? Endrdx (nearly all of them can't even slot/use endmod).

Mid's is far from dated. I see builds from it posted to the forums daily. Yes, it won't necessarily show you how to perfectly optimize a build, but other players can't do that perfectly, either, because we're not you.

The best thing to do is create a build in Mid's then post it on the AT-specific forum, letting people know exactly what you're trying to do. Then, let people tweak it and see what you get.
Mid's allows you to do a decent amount, actually. You just have to learn how to use it.

Mids is updated to include everything from Issue 20, including Incarnates, so I'm pretty sure about that.

The Mids is crap. It doesn't allow for those extra slots for veterans powers and it still slots based on pre-I19

Yes. It's not updated the same day as the game gets updated, but it's never an issue behind.

Veteran powers cannot be slotted, and do not affect your character's stat totals, so their inclusion in Mids isn't necessary. When you're looking at your Mids build, go "OK, this is what my character has, and also <veteran power list, which doesn't change anything about what the build lists>"

And what slots for veteran powers are you talking about? Vet powers don't get slots, and don't give you any.

I have these prestige powers( I can slot 3 each of the 4 powers if I want). When I do respecs, the number of slots I'm given changes.

This statement is terribly ignorant, or is showing complete incompetence. I'm not sure which.

Were fitness powers made inherent in I19? They still show the old way.
No they don't. They're included for legacy builds who haven't updated, but when you start a new build, the inherent fitness powers are included.

Yes, they were. However, make your character level 2 in the builder, and they show up as inherent. They still show up the old way because, like it or not, there are people who don't want to respec out of their old fitness. As such, it's left in there as an option, since builds can still have it that way.

However, I just downloaded the builder from the site again, and it's giving me slots for all of the various vet reward sprints, inherent fitness, and incarnate info. So, what exactly is out of date there?
Maybe you just haven't updated your version?

I think he's talking about the sprint powers, but he's not exactly clear.

I play controllers, dominators and MMs. I hate that I never get enough slots.
On my MMs, it's not so bad but on my Dominators/controllers I feel I can tighten them up way more. I'm not looking for which powers to select but I'm looking for advice on maximizing the slots with recipes.
My reason for posting is that I've spend a lot of time doing this but I'm not getting to end. First, I looked at my powers again. I decided which ones were quick action powers and which weren't. Done. Then I looked at the recipes. I've found some with single, dual, triple and quadruple powers but...they don't line up to my powers exactly or the benefits aren't enough. Another problem I'm having, I have 5 enhancements storage tables for each of my characters. I think I have at least 3 purple sets and 2 builds worth each of 51, 52, 53 enhancements collectively. I have done nothing with the 50+ stuff because they don't bonus but I need to get rid of my storage stacks plain and simple. I'm paying too much now to store all of this stuff.
Next, I keep coming back to this question. Endurance Modification vs. Endurance Cost, which one is more valuable/useful?
But right now, I'm looking to see very tight Dominator and MMs builds that I can use as a reference. I think if I dedicated a weekend to this, I could finish but each of my characters has 3 builds and this is costing more time than I imagined. I have 2 weeks of gaming coming up and I don't want to use that time to rebuild. I want to use it to play.
