Come issue 19 i'm trading Boxing for Haymaker, Maybe pick up unstoppable (For just in case) and Super Jump i guess....
He was my First brute and first villain five years or so ago when COV came out . I want to bring him back to life and run all the TFs on both sides and badge hunt . Untill he is up to date.
SS/Inv use to be the best of the best,..

Ok i on my super cool SS/Inv brute pounding though my farm mish , solo +3/8 mobs
spawn at like 60 or more
takes me like 10 min or so to clear out
Thinking I'm all godly , but bored of going solo i invite some random blaster
rad/mm
So we go in i spawn all like normal , half expecting her to die in a few min like most people do in there.
BUT WHATS THIS !!!???
Shes clears the entire 60+ spawn in less then a couple of minutes ??????
So yea now i'm thinking of going with a farming blaster
What do you think ?
I want of course Massive AoE dmgs, really fast.. and no purps at first

Fury changed since last time i played. cool ,... Brute still feel smash tastic so all is good
But is there any ways to get my own dmg buff over 300% ?besides Insp.
been toying with mids and just cant find a build that will give good dmg buff with out costing me in other areas -
ok so i'm in an AE Farm mish
you know the type , massive spawns set to +2/8 solo with tons of ambushes set in small area.
So here i am , Me (SS/inv Brute) against like 60+ claw/regen NPCs .
So i'm tanking with my nifty new IOs build solo against an army, buzz sawing foot stomp.
Fury bar will just NOT fill up.
I drop toggles for a few min and pop greens. taking massive amounts of dmg while dealing it out .
Fury still not filling
Rage stacked 3 times , dmg bonus around 250% - 300% Still fury not full... what gives ? I hit aggro cap and then some. i get hit as much as i'm hitting . nothing. as best i can tell i max out at 90% fury?
Basically this adds up to around -300ish HP off foes each hit from FootStomp and punch..
KOB of course breaks -1,000 HP or so .
so i do another test to see dmg cap
triple stack rage, pop 30+ small reds ( In AE vender)
dmg buff around 600% ....
So heres my question
How come fury will not max out .
I dont think Rage gives a buff after double stacking .
And how do i get my dmg cap ?
Is there a way to cap out dmg on a Rageless SS build ? Rage crash is kinda annoying
FYI first tiem playing this toon in around 4 years .

OK i need help.. been trying to figure this stuff out all night with no luck and fear of messing something up .
Here is what i am trying to do for my brute
most of this stuff i knew a year ago .... but cant remember it now
I want to set up Macros to replace all my attack skills
i remember /macro to make the button but thats about as far as i get
**EDIT** i figured this out finnaly .... its a failed idea since the macro buttons dont recharge like the powers do
The idea is
click activate skill .. say something in local chat
/macro KB "PowerKnockOutPunch Local: I hit you " something like that
Then i would like to set up the /popupmenu for all my toggle skills
click on screen and click to activate all the toggles
(unless all of them could be turned on by one macro)
The costume change key bind
/bind num6 em lighting outfit slot2
something like that
and last but not least a status window ( this i still have on my pvp toon but dont remember how i did it )
little box that displays over all def includding buffs, hp , speed, dmg and so on
My god thanks to anyone that can assist in helping me with this ... If required i will offer some in game inf for the effort

After some testing tonight on his very old SO slotting .. lol i feel i may have over powered him a bit in this build.. But if i squeezed in enough recharge ( i hate waiting for a attack to recharge while i stand and lose fury) it should be very fun.

Hello everyone .
First off I would like to say its great to be back . I haven't played in over a year.
I came back for GR and have now enjoyed the new content for well over a month . I Tested SS/WP brute and just did not really get into it.. Dual pistols wasn't what i hoped for. And the animation times ruined KM for me .. So .. I have gave it some thought and decided to dust off my original brute SS/Inv .. He was created when CoV first hit closed beta.. then moved to open beta and finnaly fully leveled with in the first week of CoV hitting live... Its been a few years since i really played him . Only dusting him off for new content and events .
Now i think its time to bring him up to date for historical reasons and make him my perma Main melee toon.. After all he was my first and is still the best PvE toon i have made.
I spent two weeks in mids on this build . Pls pls pls Review it and give me as much feed back as you can.. Basically what i want is the same smash tastic fun i use to have But with perma /kin speed boost. And a higher level of SMASH Thanks to the modern IOs.
Please let me know if i waisted any slotting .. missed any holes ... and if i went over any caps ..
I would like to pick up another AoE attack skill or a Range atk if its posible ..but i just couldn't find a way to fit it in .

could you help me rebuild this guy befor i finish leveling him
i've been gone from CoH for about a year so i'm pretty far behind -
THis is my first attempt at setting up a MM build for the end game stuff
the idea is to make the classic tankmage death trap build
tp foe to me debuff them to a point of squishyness and kill em quick
as for travels i can live with my run speed and temp powers
only weak spot i see is no real def to stalkers since i cant figure out a way to get caltrops or a AoE dmg toggle
Any advice would be great

well since we havent been able to finish it yet i can advise you only on what order you should kill the AVs in the two main missions
1st In the Ms liberty mission
Swan
then the Illusion troller
then Mynx
then Val
(i may have forgot one )
last mission
Numnia (rez, psy dmg)
Manticor (leader ship)
Positron (/rad debuffs)
Synapes (couse hes annoying and runs a lot )
then the rest as you feel like -
Just hit lvl 41 on test server with my SS/Inv brute
Picked up Mu Lighting
Inthe description it stated

THAT WAS AN OUT RIGHT LIE !!!!

Its has a slower recharge than ANY of my other powers !

USELESS
Lil to no damage , End drain is not enough to counter Stamina , Range is short , recharge long
Unsloted this is a useless power
Sloted up with Six slots
3 Acc 3 End.Mod
This power MAY maybe work like a gheto Dark Comsumtion
But not for a few more levels and a lot of slotting
Sadly I must say this is all in all a crapy power .Not at all what i expected these " More powerfull "PPP where suppose to be
FOr a power that takes 41 levels ,8 Arch-Villains,6 Missions.to unlock .I expected much better
I could have kept Hurl for all the good this power does as a range attack , atleast it had knock back
Thats all I have to say about that

Has anyone picked up the single target immobalise from the Brute/Mu set ? I probably should have went with that power
I would like to know if it is worth getting ? -
At lvl 40 i joined a bud to do his lvl 30ish Mayham Mission (Just to see what it was like )
I must say I loved the whole thing . With all the free Smash time I was allowed (since i was to high lvl for anything to risk hurting me ) I was really able to test a few things
I found a few Key Problems that are the root of a lot of other peoples problems , Such as MMs Pet issues withthe objects
Issues
1- Once a object is targeted either a truck or box or whatever, And useing the FOLLOW cammand that i use often on my brute to bring me with in melee range in a fight . You get close to the object and then it seems I get pushed back.this Delay in fight can last around a sec or two where my toon keep running tward the object but not getting close enough to attack with melee. The fix is then to actually use the Forward Key and to force him to take the few extra steps to get into attack range .
What ever is the couse for this (unknown to me ) Is the big issues with pets in these missions. Since most pets will attampt to attack a target with melee at times they just get stuck around these objects. The MM Caster will have to pull them back and set them to attack with a range power (This in turn cost you time which is bad )
Issue
2-Civillions: ok itsa really cool that you can now attack noraml people ......That being said. its a rather pointless addition to the mission when they are targetable yet you cant actually kill/defeat them . So mostly what we are dealling with here are a ton of none leathel Decoys in a mission . This is a problem since they target like normal NPCs. Yet even if attacks they will never die/be defeated . This allows them to act as a very annoying decoy for the Bad NPCs when in a large fight . I constantly found myself attacking/targeting for attack . these Civillion when i was in the middle of a fight with the SWAT guys or other badys. This is in effect another delay in fight time couseing you to have to manualy target your foe useing the mouse . These I'm sure would be an even more headache for MMs .Where there pets may leave a actuall fight to attack one of these decoys.
Issue
3-Keys . I was able to unlock a key dureing the mission and we did that befor our main task. all i could fig out in there was that iw as to set up 5 bombs while fighting a few ambushes . No big deal . They then exploded and started fires. This in turned killed my lower lvl partner and put a bit of a hurt on me as well. We found it rather a blind run dureing that task , not haveing any clue what we where suppose to do. A lil mish detail woulda been nice there .
Issue
4- SWAT
very nice addition to the game i must say . Allways cool to fight new things . That being said I beleave these guys may be a bit over powered with there glue and blinding attacks
At one point i desided to malifactor down with my partner and take on a mob of 5 Swat guys. Befor i was able to take out the firt one i found my self Stacked to the wall with Blinding debuffs and glued down to an insain degree. The only reason I say these are over powered is the fact that for most of us we have NO defence to such a attack , Being that breakfrees have no effect .
I think the powers are cool and all , they just need to be less spamed .

all i got from Grandville was blury Tv moniters that i couldnt make out what he was saying
A ton of lag
And fog a lot of fog
I couldnt see very far (doesnt help with lag ) and what i could see was fuzzy
Nothing was as clean and sharp as the other zones where that i crossed to get to Grandville
I walked from Mercy to Cap then took feery to Grandville
all other zones where fin
GV looked really cool though
lil scary when i Super Jumped and landed next to some lvl 50s
thank god for my Phaze shift i still had from warburg
Or i might have had to go through the Hospital issue everyones been talking about
on a last note to this i finaly found the door to RV , but when i tried to enter it crashed my puter ( BAD !!!! had to reinstall windows after that ) still dont know what happened
