Thanks to everyone that showed up today, I'm very sorry we had to cancel due to low attendance.
Also, thanks to GP for taking over the league and leading a ship raid instead! -

Below is a non-exhaustive list of examples of non-constructive posts.- Thread bumping (posts the sole purpose of which is to keep a thread at the top of a particular forum) is prohibited. To request increased visibility for a thread, please contact a forum moderator.

If you go to User CP and Group Memberships here on the forums you can actually choose to be identified as a regular registered user (white name) or as a VIP Player (gold name).
When I came back to the game I had to manually change my username to the VIP Player group to be identified as such.
So you can actually be a VIP Player and still have a white name. -
I was part of the group mentioned above. Had to miss most of yesterday because of having family in town.
Still got a Street Justice/Energy Aura Brute from 1 to 47 and a Water/Kinetics Corruptor from 36 to 38.
Lots of fun! -
Quote:I'm currently trying to choose my rewards on tier 8, but I'm having trouble finding information about what the rewards mean. Is there a page somewhere that explains what, for example, "Prestige Booster Temporary Power" means?
The wiki has a page dedicated to Paragon Rewards: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards.
Also, if it's not linked, then you can search the wiki from there and probably find the answer.
A Prestige Booster Temporary Power is a temp power that boosts the amount of prestige you earn in the game for a certain period of time.
Hope this helps... -
Just trying to provide an alternate method that has worked for me since I have also read about other people having issues with Windowed Mode and the Snipping Tool.
-
Quote:Taking screenshots for me has been tricky too. I play in full mode on Windows 7 too.Okay maybe somebody can help me out.
I dolled up my 8 new Vindicators and have them ready for showing off, but I can't get the game to copy the image to the clipboard. I just get a blank black page every time.
I'm running windows 7, if that helps.
What has worked for me is:
1. Take a screenshot with Print Screen, Paste on Paint.
2. This gives me a blank black page (like you).
3. Alt-tab back to the game, repeat step 1.
4. For some odd reason, then the screenshot will paste this time.
Hope this helps. -

This has been available for a while actually. It's not related to I24 and all the new customizations available on beta.
I found out when I saw a friend using it and I had to ask how he was doing it.
That's when he told me it was an option for Light Form only under power customization.
This probably was a month or so ago I'd say. -

Another slow week on the market.
Nothing I'll be buying myself. Was hoping for Super Packs 2... hopefully next week. -
Quote:My original quote of the OP is above for reference. Emphasis mine.I noticed in my personal info that a (2) is next to the set bonuses. I'm assuming that (2) represents double the percentage, not sure. Also, I heard that I can only go up to (5) only. The purple ones are only (1) I heard....Any answer will be appreciated, thank you
Quote:His telling you you are correct....is incorrect.
That (2) next to the set bonus in question is informing you that you get that particular bonus when you have 2 of that set slotted in one power.
So, if you see "(4)+2.25% Max HP" in a set IO's information, that means you will receive a 2.25% bonus to your max HP when you slot 4 of that set in a power.
However, I believe your assumption is correct if you are referring to the list of set bonuses you can view alongside your powers. If that is the case, disregard the above (though it is helpful to remember).Quote:As mentioned in the original post and bolded in the part that Alpha_XBS quoted, it's in the personal info, in which case it would be correct. If the OP actually meant in the IO info, then it would be incorrect.
If you go to Menu -> Personal Info, that is what you get.
Both the OP, and my confirmation are correct. If you see "Large Improved Recovery Bonus x 2" under your personal info, it does mean you are getting that bonus twice.
Please don't misconstrue my post as I am only posting this to make sure the OP is not confused.
He asked about the Personal Info window, not the IO information window. -
Quote:You are correct, this means you are receiving that set bonus 2 times.I noticed in my personal info that a (2) is next to the set bonuses. I'm assuming that (2) represents double the percentage, not sure. Also, I heard that I can only go up to (5) only. The purple ones are only (1) I heard....Any answer will be appreciated, thank you
You are also correct regarding the maximum of 5. See Eldorado's post regarding the "Law of Five".
Additionally, any IOs that is marked as UNIQUE can only be slotted once per character.
Usually, you will find that some sets only have 1 unique IO. Like Numina's Regen/Recovery.
In "purple" sets, all enhancements are UNIQUE, hence, only 1 set can be slotted per character. -
I could be wrong, but the way I understand it is this...
Double XP weekend doubles the base XP amount you get for any defeat, etc.
XP Boosters then boost that base XP amount by their percentage.
So...
Normally, if you get 100 XP and you have a Double XP Booster running, you would get 200 XP (100 XP x 2 = 200 XP).
Now, since Double XP Weekends double the base XP amount received you would get 200 XP where you originally got 100 XP. Then the Double XP Booster would take that new base amount and boost it to 400 XP (200 XP x 2 = 400 XP).
Again, this is conjecture and my understanding of how it works. I could be completely wrong on how the game makes these calculations. -
Besides the reported issues on Friday and Saturday (I think that's when they happened), I have had no issues whatsoever playing on Victory.
Victory is pretty much the only place I play. So that there were 2 hiccups a couple of days ago, should not deter anyone from playing on Victory. -
It is.
Tested it on my PB and the Leprechaun persisted through shifting forms.
Only thing is you cannot cast it while in Nova form because you're flying, and you need to be on the ground to do so. I know that's how it's supposed to work, just mentioning it for information purposes.
I also tested having the Leprechaun (buff temp) and a vanity temp out at the same time, and it worked fine.
Again, thanks to the devs for their response in addressing this! -
Quote:Patch Notes for Build 2320.201207182341.1
Pets- Buff and Vanity pets can now be used by Kheldians while shapeshifted, and now persist if summoned in Human form prior to a shapeshift.
- Players can now have one Buff pet and one Vanity pet out simultaneously. Any pet that has no effect at all on your character is considered a Vanity pet, while a pet with any effect on you is considered a Buff pet.
Enhancements
Overwhelming Force- These enhancements now list a minimum level of 10 in their descriptions.
Thank you! -
Quote:http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Concealment#StealthWhy does Stealth (from the Concealment pool) toggle off Steamy Mist, and vice versa? Thanks!
Quote:You blend into your environment and can only be seen at very close range. Even if discovered, you are hard to see and have a bonus to Defense from all attacks. If, however, you attack while using this power, you will be discovered and will lose your Stealth and some of your Defense bonus. While Stealthy, your movement is Slowed. Stealth will not work with any other form of Concealment power such as Shadow Fall or Steamy Mist. Very low Endurance cost.
Pretty much, they both provide the same kind of concealment and my guess is that it's not supposed to stack. -
Quote:I've never seen temp powers flicker or be usable during iTrials.I'm guessing this has been brought up before, but I was not able to find a current thread.
The current state of temp powers in trials is broken. The temps (Warwolf, Nem Staff, Beast Run, Shivan, Fortune, Mutation, to name a few) flicker on and off during iTrials. Sometimes they remain on during the whole thing and the powers are indeed functional.
At this point in the game, is there any hope that we can just have all these powers turned on instead of trying to block them ?
Personally it's a turn-off to see an entire tray of my "abilities" go grey for certain trials. Sure, we can avoid these trials, but just hoping maybe we can have our toys back for use all the time.
Thanks for reading.
IIRC, the only iTrial where I have seen temps enabled is in Dilemma Diabolique when you enter the maw.
And the way someone in-game explained it, was that you are told to survive by "any means necessary". -
Quote:I agree with you, I do not like this method at all.Or they could just put it on the Paragon store for those of us who don't have spazmatic type-rate twitchy fingers...
Especially with the lag-rate between tweeter and people's mobile devices,
their own wi-fi connection lag,
opening yfrog,
rezooming that image to view the image at a readable level,
then trying to get a code that hasn't been taken...
Try doing that on a mobile device with no second browser tab with the Account serial code entry page open...
I was just explaining to Chuckers what was going on with the whole process. -
Quote:The first week you had to re-tweet. That system didn't work since they then DMed you a code. They quickly reached the max DM limit of Twitter.Thanks.. I thought it was as originally stated that it needed to be re-tweeted. I am not going to bother with this as the codes go way too fast and I am busy at work. This contest isn't worth my time.
So last week they tried this method... and they are doing it again this week, for the last time.
This is the last Tweet Code Thursday as it is not living up to what they expected.
So... back to the drawing board.
They said lots of codes will be given away today, even more than last week. -
Quote:No.There's too many pages to try and find the answer to this, so I am sorry if it's already been asked:
I currently have my tweets protected, will this stop me from getting a code if I try and play?
They post a picture with codes on it.
Then you have to rush and type a code into the "Use a Serial Code" section of your PlayNC account. -
Gotta say that some of the bases I saw on twitch.tv were very cool.
Good job everyone! -
I'm sorry I couldn't make it last night.
What's the target level for next week so I can catch up? -
Where are the new super packs?!?!?
EDIT: That was supposed to be all caps... But I guess the forum didn't like it.
