The current system is fine short of inanimate objects. If I'm in jail there is no reason I should MISS the door when attacking it.

That does it. Now I'm really going to play Tabula Rasa!
It was nice to have you around here Cuppa. We'll miss ya.

This is good news indeed.
I typed my frist post as Posi was making his so did not see his explanation before I hit submit. -
So, wait...we won't be able to raid bases for IoPs now? Talk about a huge let down.
-
Wait, Dark Armor toggles don't have a fade out effect like the majority of other toggles? Fuuuudge.
-
Too bad nothign has been updated in months. I was hoping demo files would become the new version of screenshots someday considering how small the files are and how much cooler they can be.
-
If there has ever been a silly and simple idea that would just rock this is it.
I would like to see a Big Red Ball for Villains and a Big Blue Ball for Heroes, just because. -

- JL seems to have a really long animation. Is that just me? I mean, it's not Shadow Maul long, but it seems noticeably lengthy. Argh, especially if it misses.
[/ QUOTE ]
You're not kidding. I actually catch myself wondering whether using JL might not actually be -hurting- my fury-building because of the animation length.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which is one reason I left it out of my build, slow and the arc seems smaller then Shadow Maul to me.
[/ QUOTE ]
JL feels like it has a smaller arc than SM, I'm almost certain it does. I was very dissapointed by the power. With an animation time as long as that the arc should be larger. -
I'd like to see the second shield (I forget the name and am not at home to check) have a more translucient effect. The current solid look to the electricity coupled with the size and frequency of the armor's animation is overwhelming. It really feels like too much is going on, especially from just that one shield toggle.

I fear the code is all or nothing but I'd be happy with getting 8 for a hit and 4 for a miss.
I really do think we need to build Domination even off of misses, though. Dominators tend to be the weakest AT in PvP, we need something to offset that. -
I wish there were more power choices for each AT under each Patron. I don't really want a pet and as an Ice/Ice Corrupter I don't need anymore immobs or holds. I really feel as if I'm limited to which patron I can pick based on which powers are useful to me which is no good at all.

Some of you guys (the players) need to calm down and at least act a wee bit civilized.

I'd like to see Sleep have this little change added to it...
If an enemy is woken from a Sleep power by being attacked BEFORE the sleep would have naturally worn off than for the duration that the sleep would have lasted the enemy takes a accuracy debuff.
This would make Sleep a bit more attractive. Besides it takes awhile to rub the sleep from your eyes in the morning. -
It looks like Kinetics is screwed out of getting any of their major PvP problems fixed unless major reworking of the system happens. How lovely.
-
I find WoW to be equivalent to having a second job and Lineage II is just horrible.
So, no accounting for good taste. -

OK - here's the most likely outcome...
If you own both games, you get all options - the new CoV sets will be accessible for your heroes.

I don't like it, I don't hate it but I don't like it.
I loved the fact that it was pretty easy to tell just from looks if a character was a villain or hero. Sure there are more reasons to allow this than not to but, I don't know, I just liked it the other way. -
I don't think this is a very good solution, honestly. I'd rather see Dodge and Agile both get +def to AE (combined amount equallying Lucky) so SR can actually have some defense to AE before lvl 28/35. In the place of Lucky put in a passive power that gives +res to smashing/lethal/energy which would be simular to Resilience from the Regen power line.
Or just boost SR passive +def to levels that make the powers worth taking once again. As is now the majority of auto powers in teh game provide such small benifits that there isn't much of a reason to take them. -
I love, love, love this idea. I don't think it would be a terribly hard feature to code. It would be more like swapping NPC models with hero models. If an interface is set up that lets each SG member pick maybe three different things they'd like their character to do while offline that would also be great. Say the tech guy in your group is running the city wide monitor, fixing a computer terminal, or at a workbench tinkering away. Anytime he switches positions, maybe every thirty minutes or so, you'd actually see him walk from one to the other.
It doesn't even have to be that complicated, though. Just having heroes walking through the halls or doing random things would be awesome and add a LOT to the base not feeling empty.
I don't think we'll see this when CoV launches but I hope to god we see it soon. -
Please, please, please let us change our SGcolors and emblem if this is goign to be how we afford our bases.
-
I love the special sprint effects for CoH, great touch, but I hate the costume pieces thing. Any chance the big bad $90 Collector's Edition of CoV will unlock all four helmets? That would make me feel better, especially about paying $90.

Blasters also have Burn. Are they overpowered?
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh come on, Blasters can't make hordes of mobs stand in one place while tehy are burned to death without dying. Blasters with Burn and Tanks with Burn are two entirely different things. -
This change didn't actually BUFF Ice or SR, which is what is needed. This patch effectively buffed EVERYONE which doesn't make Ice or SR better sets since ALL sets became better from this change.
Seriously, Statesman, you need to BUFF Ice and SR not nerf the mobs. The logic here baffles me. Dont' just run defense vs resistance numbers either, numbers and how it actually FEELS when you play the sets are entirely different.
PLEASE play an Ice and SR, have some members of the dev team play them as well at all levels (but especially 30+).
Please. -
The defiance bar is VERY confusing. Instead of being from 0.0 to 1.0 could we please have it changed to show the actual buff amount? Have it start at 0% and go to 500% in the bar. This change would be great to not only make it easier to understand but so players also no exactly what Defiance is doing for them.
Also at higher levels Defiance seems to be, well, not enough. It doesn't kick on soon enough since high level Blasters frequently go from full health to death in a heart beat. Any chance we could get the code to scale up? Maybe at lvl 40+ you get the 500% bonus at 10% health and the first buff starts at 50% instead of 40%. -
I'd liek to add my voice to the group upset that Controllers get the new Defender primaries. I wouldn't have minded so much if they only got Sonics or if Tankers and Scrappers had gotten new powerset.
As is...I'm annoyed.
Lets just hope Controllers and Defenders get the tweaking they need to make Defenders worth having around in high level teams for i5.
