I am getting mapservered when a league I am in gets to a certain size, usually about 18 people. At this point I am getting completely cut off from any response from the server, my ping just starts to skyrocket and I soon get dropped.
If I am quickly quit the league when I notice the lag then my connection returns to normal.
I use a mac with bootcamp as well as play on the mac side and this problem only occurs on the bootcamp/xp side. -
I also have this issue. Did a verify from the COH launcher and no help.
I am currently looking for a verify or equivalent on the NCsoft launcher. -
Since 3 of the 4 mission entrance doors in ITF cannot be entered while they are open, sometimes it can take a while to get into a mission, especially if 2 or 3 other groups have just finished a mission and are coming out that door.
Just something that happened to me a few times this week when the rest of the team was waiting on 2 or 3 of us who literally could not get into the mission. -
The other thing you could do with a alpha is to take one slot Def out of each of 10 defense powers and have 10 slots to put into other powers and still gain about 1% defense.

I'm fairly certain that at least one of the slots will be a global proc, but I could see them making up to 5 global procs all with small chances of going off.
Damage proc (different kinds of damage) (almost certain)
Debuff proc (-def, -res, -recharge, -tohit)
Buff proc (+def, +res, +recharge, +tohit)
Mez proc (hold, disorient, confuse, immob)
Heal proc (+heal, +end, +regen, +recovery) (unlikely) -
I took my ice tank for a spin tonight and she performed excellently. In 5 missions I only died once when I jumped in solo to 2 closely spawned groups of longbow and died before I realized I was losing health.
I only used hibernate 3 or 4 times. Had no problems with carnies.
She was like I remember, very tough. I just had to use a few more inspirations a couple times when hibernate was recharged but still unavailable. -
By tough situations I meant team wipes, double/triple pulls gone bad or heavy psi or fire damage. In situations like that lasting 90 seconds is a lot harder than lasting 45 seconds.

I played my Ice/Stone for a while and she was a blast. I got her to level 42 and the final 10 levels whenever I was in a tough situation I found myself relying on Hibernate being up every 40-45 seconds.
When I13 hit Hibernate was lumped in with the rest of the phase powers and given a 90 second cool down no matter its recharge. What this meant for my Ice tank was that her survivability was reduced by half.
Do you think it is possible to ever remove the phase timer from Hibernate? -
Damage buff is one of the only attributes that have no enhancement associated with it(only others I can think of are status resist and protection.) Are we ever going to get a damage enhancement for assault, build up, fulcrum shift, etc?
Obviously it wouldn't be a schedule A enhancement but a schedule B(20%, like defense) would be great. -
Double xp is achieved by setting patrol xp to 100% (instead of the normal 50%) and then making everybody's patrol xp status on. Since AE doesn't use patrol xp there is no bonus xp given in AE durring double xp weekends.

, you can still be inside the 10th alignment mission. I had that happen once. I completed the objective, got the mission complete alert, and decided to clear the room. The next enemy I defeated dropped the morality mission. -
I have tip missions available and have done some both ways since I upgraded but have not received a morality mission.
The morality mission tip is awarded when you complete your 10th alignment mission, if you don't have GR this tip is not awarded and isn't awarded when you complete subsequent tip missions. -
I have this problem on a couple of characters
They had 10 alignment points before I updated to GR and now I cannot get a morality mission with them.
Anybody know how to solve this problem? -
I have been adjusting my final crab build and realized today that I have a full AOE chain and I haven't been using Frag Grenade. Not only do I barely use it I actually avoid using it because of the random knockback.
I figured I could drop FG and the 4 slots in it and pick up another useful power. I would be able to have guardian up 4 mins down about 30 seconds or less. I would just like to know how good of a pet he/she is. -
I'm fairly certain, although not 100% sure, that all Rare As are in both Bronze and silver. Rare As are rolled 12.5% of the time in Bronze and 60% of the time in Silver.

Great guide, I've always played with one hand on the mouse, right button down so I can see the whole battle field, zoomed in or out as much as needed to know what all is going on.
I just recently got a dom up to level 20 and find it incredibly fun. There's a lot more decisions to make than just "keep hitting it until its dead." eg. Do I wait for my next melee attack to finish recharge to kill the minion with 1/2 health in front of me and hold the lt 15 ft away or bust over to the lt build up and smash him to death while the minion is held... -
No mention of Poison Gas Trap changes in the notes so I'm going to assume the changes hey made earlier in beta got reverted

Rather than start a new thread most of the info should already be here.
The setup: I run CoX on the windows side of my mac using boot camp beta and windows XP pro SP2. Its a 2007 IMac with 2.13 processor and 1gig ram, ATI x1600 graphics card.
The Problem: The game runs great until all of a sudden it crashes and my Mac reboots itself. It resets itself usually within about 5 minutes of running with a team, but I can run solo for a couple hours without experiancing problems most of the time.
I run Cox in windowed mode but it happens the same in full screen.
Does anybody have a solution or suggestion. Please ask if you need more info to help me.

I have recently done some tests on burn to find out 2 things how much damage it can do.
First I tested brawl vs burn on lowbie enemies(-35,-40) and I got a range of numbers from 0.24 to 0.32, the number I mostly came up with was 0.2777. Since some enemies have resitances to smashing or fire I figure this is probably the right number. Burn does 0.2777 BI per tick.
Then I tested how many ticks burn could do. I had a hard time finding minions that would live through a burn so I ended up using -1 lts. I would demorecord the burn then count the ticks in the demo file. I did 10 tests and got 35-41 ticks for each burn. Assuming some of the ticks missed, Burn probably tries to hit 45 times per drop.
Burn ~ 0.2777 * 45 = 12.5
Burn lasts for 10 seconds and you cannot have 2 burns up at the same time. If you drop a new burn the old one goes out. That being said Burn is terribly efficient endurance wise, it only costs 7.5 end.
Also I believe Burn has a base accuracy of 95% that cannot be enhanced in any way. This makes burn amazing at killing even con or lower minions but its damage drops off extremely fast when fighting reds and up. -
If another /SR player took fly he would most likely also take those other 3 powers(Swift, quickness, elude). If he put 5 slots into those powers and compared to putting 5 slots into fly, who would be faster over a straight line?
