I was thinking of doing Elec/Earth as well. It might not be able to utilize the sleep as well as some other sets, but the melee knockdowns and such should help to mitigate damage to a certain extent. Tremor mixed with Jolting Chain and eventually Fissure should keep enemies on their backs for most of the fight anyways.

I promise I'll only build a cottage that covers Ms. Liberty once. I mean, she's needed some shelter for quite some time now. Must be pretty sunburnt, the poor girl.

Agreed with Bill, the 'non-portability' of the power is it's real drawback.
-
Yup, just drag the character down to the arrows on the bottom left, and it should change pages for you.
-
An Elec/Stone/Ice Dominator could be a lot of fun, methinks.

Will do. I figure that between Blazing Aura and Burn, KM's lack of AoEs until later in the game will be mitigated to some extent. Adding a third damage type to KM's attacks should be good, too, and FE should help add burst damage to the start of a fight, and as that fades, PS should be kicking up against anything that's left standing.

Quote:Well, games have overused Zombies, after they overused Aliens. Twilight has kind of ruined Vampires and Werewolves for a while. Penny Arcade predicted the next phase would be Mummies, but I just don't see that becoming too big (especially after the third "Mummy" movie just kinda destroyed that idea).Well, they took over after aliens stopped being cool.
Clearly we need more Nazis now. Then the cycle can begin anew.
As such, I really think that we're due for more Dinosaurs entering the mainstream. It's been a while since the last Jurassic Park, right?
Maybe Banshees? Or Leprechauns? Dark Gods of an unspeakable nature? -
Hmmm...looks like my Tanker in GR will be a Fire/KM. Should be all sorts of colorful.
-
Excellent. This should definitely help Tankers out across all levels, really.

You can go through Ouroborus to do content at any level lower than you, and once at 50, it allows you to do the 45-50 content as well.

Run through the contact's missions through Ouroborus, or find someone else that is running those missions.

You do know that NDA stands for Non-Disclosure Agreement, right? It means that if you are in the beta, you can't discuss any details about it, and they also ask that you not disclose if you are in it or not. However, that doesn't prevent a semi-intelligent person from putting two and two together on who might be in it or not.

In addition to the answer Claws gave, the Devs do want to do it, it just presents some more interesting challenges for the devs than the regular powers did.

Quote:Well, that was kind of the point of the system. It was designed so that you could take every primary and secondary power, along with a travel power. If you want Stamina, you need to make choices somewhere else. Want another power pool? That means even more choices. At level 30, if you only put power picks into your primary and secondary, you'd have had a free power slot at 22 and 30.
Problem is, Stamina requires three power picks, and a -lot- of sets are hell to play without it. So miss out a primary/secondary, that's your three at 30. Then if you want Hasten, miss out another. Then if you want a travel power, that's either 1 power pick or two...
There are also a lot of sets out there that don't need every power in them, and have some easy choices. -

Quote:Ummm...Tankers as a whole haven't been nerfed since ED, and that was everyone, and before that, the GDN, which affected a lot of stuff as well.Three years huh?
Maybe it's not your tanker, but the tanker AT in general. Awhile back, (emphasis on the word awhile) the tanker AT was nerfed. Maybe that's what you're referring to? Because I've just finished getting an Inv/ tank to 50 and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. If anything, I think it's the best tanker primary in the game. -

And make Aim summon a little yellow stick figure that follows you around offering 20 free hours.
-
You need to run through the new cape mission before you can get the aura mission. It's not that tough or long to do, and is quite fun.
Why is it done this way? The City Rep only offers two missions. In order to get the second, you need to have done the first. Since the first one was replaced, you aren't flagged as having completed it yet. -
Yup. The only time they won't is if the Devs move some of the costume options around, or rename some, which has only happened very rarely.
-
Scam. Don't answer that. They will never ask for that kind of information through e-mail.
-
They are saved locally, in a folder in your CoH directory. You should just be able to back them up from there.

When I bowl, I usually end up with a score around 200. Yet, every once in a while, I gutter ball it.
I sometimes trip while walking up stairs, and I do that basic activity all the freakin' time. Don't even get me started on making sure my standing bio breaks end up 100% in the toilet.
