Personally I think it'd be hilarious, but perhaps less so now that you've gone and suggested it openly.

What's a cottage rule?

Basically, the Cottage Rule states that, while any given power may be changed in some way or another, the basic principle of said power should remain. I think the name stems from a post by one of the devs making a hypothetical example of a power that originally held an enemy being changed so that instead summons a small cottage.

But if it's made clear on the patch notes that it's APRIL FOOL's ? You'ld get plenty of folks who go: "Huh, what? Oh, a small shack. lol. whatever" and go about thier merry way.
Possible problems?
Spamming of small cottages blockade Atlas Park.
Or trying to defeat mobs, cottages prove to be less effective than your regular powers, resulting in failed missions.

April first, install a patch that does the following: Have any and all build-up like powers summon a cottage. it does nothing and fades after a few seconds.
April second, revoke the patch.
...Yeah, it'd take too much work and there'd be too much chance of something going wrong and only a few people would "get it", but -I- think it'd be funny!
