I think they really need to change it so we can be in queue while in missions. The queue mechanism works in other games because so much of those games is spent out in the world, collecting 1 of 20 rat tails and so forth.
Of course, now that I say that I realize that the "solution" from the devs will be to add many more such collection missions into the game.
Stupid Praetorian flower-collecting mission. -
Quote:But that would be AWESOME!From the nice folks at coh.titan. It integrates with City Information Tracker if you're into the badge thing, though I only use it to export "as-is" in-game builds to Mids. It also tracks Day Job progress.
http://cit.cohtitan.com/sentinel/
Start Sentinel and Mids, then start CoH. Once you log into the world, tab and go to Tools on Sentinel and export. It takes the live character info and builds a Mids data chunk.
Then tab over to Mids and import, just like you were copying a data chunk from the forum. Voila! (No, it doesn't work the other way- you can't use a Mid's build and /respec your character. )
Devs, get on it! I command you!

Quote:Someone fresh in game is unlikely to have a 50 unless they made their way via the AENew players especially are likely to be confused, as we've had the fortune of learning it as it is slowly fed to us.. but to someone fresh in to game, might be a bit overkill.
BTW, your avatar is hysterical. What is that from? -

Fortunately, there is a ready supply of IXP from running the new Incarnate trials. Oh, well, I guess we're not City of Alts anymore...

Quote:Really? Does it bother you that Supergirl is a thin little girl who is almost as string as Superman? What can I say? I like my fighting women to actually [i]look[/] like they can fight and inflict real damage if necessary. And I never really cared for skinny women anyway.
It's something of a byproduct of my military and MMA training. I have taken real punches from people roughly her size, and I know that no matter how hard she might wind up for it, it's not gonna hurt much because she simply doesn't have the physical mass behind it. I have a really hard time with suspension of disbelief when it comes to things like that. I have a feeling that with the growing popularity of televised MMA, a lot of shows like this will have to be more realistic in their depiction of fighting if they want to get viewers on board.
Let's face it, Buffy was a comic book, just in a different medium. Her strength had nothing to do with her physical mass any more than Supergirl's does. -
No, I didn't mean to jump you, that was a serious comment as in "You are kidding, right?"
Apparently not. I'd like to hear from some of these folks that think Buffy improved after moving to the CW. -
You've gotta be kidding me. The fourth season is the only one the wife and I have on DVD. I mean, just the "Hush" episode alone was worth it.

I have a link to some shots from the current production with Adrianne Palicki, but I've probably already been scooped. Anyhow, here you go.

Looks like they fixed the shiny, but I'm still not sure about this. -
She's not lucid, so she does not have control where she goes next. Like Alice going through Wonderland, she precesses to her next reality.

Wanders in, gets funky.
*sniff* ew. More funky than I thought. Going to shower... -
Wanders in, eats pie.
Oh, I'm sorry - were you using this? -

Quote:Ah, but do you remember when they were "Sugar Frosted Flakes", instead of just "Frosted Flakes"?I'm 44. I still remember a cereal NAMED "Super Sugar Crisp". Man I hate PC nonsense. And yes, you SHOULD watch what your child eats. But it is everything in moderation, not "NO SWEETIES FOR YOU!!!"
Sugar Bear! Where are you when I need you!!

First: Nice job, GG.
Second: I had no idea your namesake was so busty.
Last: You're a martial artist? Really? In that skirt? You must have Hellions lining up to get Storm Kicked by you Or Crane Kicked. Yowza! -

The combine animation was cool for about the first 3-4 times back in 2004. The reamaining 5,000 times since then have been /faceplant.

Welcome to the game and the boards.
Since you bought Going Rogue, your first character must be a Preatorian. However, your second and subsequent characters can start anywhere. So if you really want to start as a hero, roll a placeholder for Praetoria and then roll a hero.
As far as the copyright issues go, you do need to be careful. Just don't make an exact copy in name and appearance and you should be OK. -

What are these PopMenus and inspiration macros people are talking about?

Quote:When I first started playing I had no idea how to slot my powers. So I see a power can be slotted with EndRedux, Recharge, Damage and Range, I slot the power with one of each. I did that with every power I got. One enhancement of every kind a power can be slotted with.
And the amazing part is it was still almost workable. -

Quote:Maybe he doesn't actually want to clean it up. Maybe he keeps subconsciously sabotaging himself because without the corruption in Gotham, he would have no purpose. Not familiar with AC2, but the "progress" thing about Bruce and Gotham actually is one of the things that bugs me about Batman.
Look at all the time, money, and effort he's sunk into protecting Gotham and trying to make it a better place. Has he made any progress? For all his reputation and how much thugs are supposed to be terrified of "the Bat" they're still in Gotham, aren't they?
Unless Gotham is supposed to be Bruce's own personal hell that he can never actually fix. I remember reading something about a story that either alluded to or specifically said there was some mystical reason as to why Gotham is so utterly corrupt to it's core. Did anything like that ever make it in canon?
Now I understand that publishing reasons of why Gotham can't be cleaned up, but considering how, for the most part, they build on what's happened previously, it sure as hell seems that Bruce isn't helping anything and Gotham's actually -worse- off for all Bruce's done.
Oooooh, pop psychology. I used words, so you know it's gotta be true. -
