Hey, is this new with I20? Has it been discussed from beta and I just missed that? The set bonus list in character descriptions is now organized...it says "Large Health Bonus x4, Small Recharge Bonus x2" and so on. Neat!

Kudos to the team for this one.

That certainly is easier on the eyes. It does seem a bit scattered still, but it's certainly a step in the right direction.

The best part of it is knowing if you can still grab a certain level set bonus and not lose out on the Rule of 5.

Now if they just put things in alphabetical order, or group them by type of bonus (accuracies, damages, etc)...

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

You can copy and paste it onto Notepad and manually format it so you can more easily see what you have. But the question is, if you went over x5, does it actually show the real count or did it stop at x5?

you can always check your live build by loading Sentinel and grabbing your build from in-game, then pasting it into Mids and checking "Set Totals." It will flag any bonuses breaking the rule of 5.

Eh. I don't use Mids.

I tested this with some +recovery options (lots of those available at 2 pieces), and it does indeed stop at x5 even when I had 12 pieces (6 sets of 2 pieces) slotted. So you'll have to keep an eye on things.

What is this Sentinel you speak of?

From the nice folks at coh.titan. It integrates with City Information Tracker if you're into the badge thing, though I only use it to export "as-is" in-game builds to Mids. It also tracks Day Job progress.

http://cit.cohtitan.com/sentinel/

Start Sentinel and Mids, then start CoH. Once you log into the world, tab and go to Tools on Sentinel and export. It takes the live character info and builds a Mids data chunk.

Then tab over to Mids and import, just like you were copying a data chunk from the forum. Voila! (No, it doesn't work the other way- you can't use a Mid's build and /respec your character. )

Sounds like that takes longer than just using your eyes while you're playing the game and counting, but that's just me.

I have Mids open pretty much all the time. I have Sentinel open all the time. It takes about 10 seconds to go from in-game, alt+tab to Sentinel, hit a button, alt+tab to Mids, alt+i, ctrl+i, alt+w, ctrl+b.

How fast can you get into your manage enhancements screen and go through all of your enhancements to make sure you've only got five set bonuses of a particular kind, of a particular percentage? Because the /infoself window doesn't tell you if you're accidentally slotting six of something.
