Red Strela, my TA/Archery Defender. Can't manage to solo successfully.

It's kind of traumatic to die while Elude is up. heh.

Quote:Well spoken! You're right, my SoA is just a normal person. No superpowers, no heat vision, no conjuring demons from the nether to do his bidding. He's got his rifle. He's got his grenades. He's got his training. And he still regularly goes up against superpowered PPDs, signature heroes, the most badass, overpowered, pinnacle of perfection beings out there.
And he wins.
That's what makes him so special and hardcore. Thanks for asking -
If they do add such missions to Praetoria, I think it would be most appropriate that they be done as telepathic thought-crime warnings from the Seers.

When I first saw this topic I thought "War Witch is wearing red lamé? I'm ok with that...."

The pure epic awesomeness of the Strong and the Pretty is an inspiration to us all.

I had a fun time running a Brute with Perfect Zinger: Chance For Psi Damage in all of his main attack powers. heh.
-
I think I'm going to just try out the idea and see how it goes.

I give my Demon pets page numbers for names (referring to a book of demon summoning spells).

Here's a partial build for a "Huntsman" Crab, so named because all three grenade powers were taken from the Arachnos Soldier primary; an opening salvo will often involve these three attacks, one after another. It's presented as a mostly IO-only build, as I haven't started thinking much about IO sets for this yet; I also skipped a main travel power in favor of just using Ninja Run. Comments?

Yep, I can usually sneak close enough to a small group to sling caltrops, web one, beanbag another, put a slug in a third (maybe knocking him down), then cycle through my targets again.
-
What do you think about taking Stealth early, then respecing later to get rid of Stealth and add Cloaking Device and another attack power? So far, I like the combination of Stealth and Ninja Run (in a build with no major movement power).
-
Wow, that thing has a lot of buttons; has someone worked up a specific configuration for CoH on it?
-
One recurring problem I've had with various mice in the past is that the "feet" are attached to the mouse with something like rubber cement, which eventually smears and causes the feet to drift and eventually fall off.
Currently, my cheap Dynex corded laser mouse is having trouble recognizing when I want to do a right-click and drag action, so I'm about ready to bounce it off a wall. -
My favorite character names are First Among Equals, Robotic Sin Eater, and Kaisuteknon.

I think that CoX money is going to bankroll Blade & Soul's marketing department's urgent need to spitshine their Bentleys.
-
One thing that surprised the heck out of me was that my favorite Tanker actually became much more survivable when I slowed down the pace of his attacks. Sure it takes me longer to run through scenarios with him than with my Scrappers, but it's just as fun, at least for me.

Example: Im in a costume contest and someone is putting ice shields on everyone.

A simple way to prevent this form of costume contest griefing would be welcome.
