The Thing? I mean, unless you really want your own special episode on the Discovery Health channel, being covered in rocky growths would suck.

Cyclops, hands down. I mean, I open my eyes. A lot, believe it or not. I would hate not being able to do so for fear of chopping the head off of the girl I'm checking out from across a room. It would REALLY ruin my night.
I'd consider Codpiece, maybe. Most weapons have recoil when fired. If his does, then it would punch you in the junk every time it fired.

Captain Sunshines power to........give people sunburns. Being ineffective at night coupled with some.........urges make him a very unappealing, but HILARIOUS, superhero.

Telepathy could be on my list, especially as you first discover the power and aren't able to control it. As soon as I start hearing voices I'd probably assume I was going crazy rather than gaining awesome powers.
Nightcrawler's. He may be one of my favorite supercharacters, but the ability to teleport, wall-clinging, acrobatic ability, l33t fencing skillz, and having a prehensile tail don't make up for being blue, furry, and ... having a prehensile tail.

Saw X-men yesterday...ehm Toad, Beast, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Sabretooth. Basically any superhuman who cannot walk through a busy street without getting any strange looks from bystanders. (well okay, Mystique can hide it)

I'm not talking about 8th stringers like the kid in Freshman who had to stay borderline alcohol-poisoningly drunk for his power to work, I'm talking about headliners.
For me, it would have to be the Human Torch. That power is just way too dangerous to have in reality. I don't care how much control you have, you burst into flames enough times and you're bound to make a mistake and hurt/kill someone.
Runner-up, but only in a world where I'm the sole super-being would be Rogue. In the Marvel Universe, I'd be ok with having her power, because aside from the occasional fist bump, I don't like people touching me as it is. If I suddenly gain her powers in this reality though, that would suck. What, am I going to absorb Julie from Accounting's amazing cooking skills, or Harold from Enginnering's ability to hit a softball?
