Yeah, he's a generic publicity hero. I like them. Shows more diversity within the population of this game rather than "Oh, hey, it's Statesman advertising a new feature again."
-
Nope.
Pretty sure it's just standard stress testing and a chance to get people hyped for the game. Nothing's gonna change. This game will not go Free to Play unless sales are plummeting, and the servers will never merge. People like them the way they are. -
Probably, yup. A shame, too.

This kind of thing being incompetent public relations.
Recently we have had:
- The buggy I20 release which necessitated extensive downtime.
- The resulting backfiring joke "we have no downtime today." it was funny but it was followed by:
- A planned downtime which was originally placed right in the main European play time on a Friday evening. This had to be backed down on and moved earlier in the evening.
- The announcement of the list merge, which then had to be cancelled because you hadn't tested it. You gave no better notice for the new time so why didn't you wait before issuing the announcement!
- And now this over-hyped, basically rather dull, 3 hour 'invasion' with a badly thought out badge.
Seriously. What's happening lately guys? The ball didn't just get dropped, it bounced twice and then fell off a cliff! -
Anything they wrecked can be remade. Don't get too angry about it. However, I would take away base editing rights from them.

Remember to look through the Superhero/villain group directories. Might be a particular SG you're looking for within that list.

Mine's a tie between I10 and I14. I still remember how exciting the Rikti invasions were and how epic the Lady Grey TF was the first time I ran it. Being able to fight Hamidon was incredibly fun, and the twist at the end was crazy, even if it did get ruined for me very quickly.
However, Mission Architect is one of the things I keep playing this game for. I regularly use it and constantly try to test features and enemy groups to try and make exciting and unique missions with it. Definitely the funnest feature in this game to me. -

Only reason I'd want to see Transformers 3 would be for Shockwave. But I'm afraid they'll mess him up.

Surprised your guys' arteries haven't clogged with all that hatred yet.

I love this TF. Had tons of fun. I'd play these new TFs over the old crap like Manti/Synapse/etc. any day.

The blinding white was also a severe issue with hallways in the Praetorian lab maps. I think those were fixed? Not sure.
And I do hope a fix happens for these new warehouses happens soon. Anytime I play, my FPS is floored and I'm rendered incapable of doing anything unless I zoom in and look straight at the ground. -
Couldn't care less about Marauder's unique gloves, I just want his hair. We don't have dreadlocks at all. Closest we got are those cornrows. Then he gets dreadlocks. Can we at least get those? I'm sure it wouldn't make him less unique if the people of Paragon City could actually have a normal hairstyle that happens to be similar to his.

I can agree with that. Fourth wall breaking tends to really bug me, especially since when people try to do it they don't do it subtly. They tend to do something that's pretty obvious, which can easily break immersion and make you groan. Not cool.

Pretty sure we won't see the pieces until the 28th.

Quote:Just for the hell of it. I doubt there's any incredible storyline reason that they are gender swapped. They just are.I like how this thread changed from why Jim and Fussionette are different genders to what Sam's preferences in humor are.
Which reminds me of the original question: Why are they different genders?
I think I realize that it maybe, just maybe, and if so possibly only slightly, that it is supposed to be a joke. (Which in my opinion, kinda takes a knife to Praetorian Lore)
