Your set? Damage. Oh, and don't forget that chance to knockback and a little -Acc.

There's no powers in there that grab at me, that make me go "Hey, look, play me over another set!"

It's easy to imagine if a bear is a huge scientific experiment, a mutant bear, a magically empowered bear, a bear inexplicably in a suit of power armour or just an angry bear. So why not the same for an alien?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ...

*runs off to make bear characters*

    [/ QUOTE ]

You're not going to make Voytek the Soldier Bear, are you? :O
  3. Statesman mentioned a couple of years ago that Aliens come under Natural. Superman would be Natural, as any Kryptonian that came to Earth would have his powers.

Technology doesn't have to be human Technology, Warshades are Science due to their Nictus origins (Who are Kheldians modified with Science to absorb life force)

An alien who differed from his fellows genetically would be a mutant, and who says aliens can't utilize magic?
  4. Couldn't they be used to give out... y'know, -Community- information? Or help in the game or something?

I always found it a little pointless before.
  5. Independance Day Event: Instanced Outdoor Mission map, an address outside City Hall by Statesman and the Mayor and such, invaded by Arachnos. Take them down and the raid leader, rescue people too, and fight off te Arachnos Flier floating over City Hall.
  6. Sure you hadn't. We know what you Aussies are like! You and your hats and your puns.

But please, poke them and see if something could be done. Even if it's just putting a card on file for non-recurring billing, and then getting an e-mail sent to you with a link to verify the transaction or something?
  7. Even better! I thought there might have been some Cedega thing that meant you had to purchase the game rather than offering the client as a free download. But hey, if you do buy the game you get a month of free time and the bonuses too!
  8. If /Dark is that powerful... how imba must /Rad for MM's have been?
  9. (Thematically, I got it working with my thugs. Jan Boa, the half Snake leader of Boa Personnel Services. She and her boys will take any job that she feels is suitable for them. With their firepower and her pistols and venom, they're unstoppable!)

I don't think Poison would go well with Dominators, but Corruptors, sure! I doubt they'd make a toxic damage set to go as a primary though.

I'd also love to see Plant/Toxic Controllers. For those saying poison isn't particularly heroic, when has molesting people with tentacles, ripping their lifeforce out, disembowling or beheading them been?

    ... And Ice/Cold Controllers, Thermal/Fire Defenders, and Ice/Ice Scrappers. >.>
  10. I have 32 characters, being able to check what ones have items on the AH and day job completion would be a godsend.
  11. You could play your account on a CoH-Mac client without buying the pack, but I believe buying the pack gives you access to the client download to install on that Mac, so yes.

    Rotten Teeth!!

I'm sick of bloody Snaptooth. Winter, Valentines, always the Redcaps appearing. Let's have a new mission, please!
  13. The latter. It'll bump your next billing date up a month.
  14. Sadly the Dev's have said that cutscenes are quite difficult to do in the game. I say hire SamuraiKo and get her to do them.
  15. Protosteel. Protosteel seems to be Arachnos' thing, while the heroes prefer Impervium.
  16. Apply Serial Code > Apply to your account (I have 3 CoH ones listed, the 3rd being an odd error, the second being my second account that I don't use, so I applied it to the first.

    Incidently?

I can finally make a cool looking swordsman with decent armour.

    Sadly?

The Valkyrie glove bump over the fists appears through the shield.
  17. £9.99 for a month of game time, the Valkyrie costumes and the Mission TP'er?

    Bought!
  18. The fading on the character is due to the fact that the screenshot I was working with had him running the Fire armour goggle and Prestige Sprint Quick, and I don't currently have this character at the level for flight and a cape ><
  19. As I am wont to do, I play around with Paint.Net a bit. Great little program that, I prefer it to GIMP for my image editing needs (not that there's many.)

You can get some really great effects on CoH screenshots with some of the options, and after spotting Pious' comic posted that uses similar techniques, I took a crack at things once more, and came up with...

    Cauter: Blazing Bright

I kind of like how the background city itself is really faint, but that red and gold of his armour just stand out among it. I used the Ink Sketch filter at 35/75, before Softening the portrait and changing the Brightness and Contrast to 100/-30, then to finish off added a small point to the curves to just bring the red and yellow out.

The 35/70 Ink Sketch gives you a nice colour, and helps define the main lines but not leave too much of a pebbledashed texture, and the left leg's lines are rather prominent. Also, nice to have just that little bit of eye detail.

It could still do with work, of course. For one thing, bringing parts of the image up into layers to better capture certain pars, or put less emphisis on the right leg's lines, and perhaps putting a touch more colour into the background.

Still found it to be quite striking though.
  20. The in game store can't handle the securesafe whatever card payment thing with Maestro where you have to input a password. Which begs the question why they don't simply put the in game store on the website instead...
  21. Hell no not a real life city. Keep it in Paragon, renovate it, open new parts up, have building work change place, but please, don't change the city.
  22. I had to get my mum's credit card, add it to my subscription, log in game, purchase the money, log out of the game, cancel the subscription, give mum the card back and the money for 5 slots.

It's just a tedious hassle. As I've said time and time again, NCSoft, don't make it a chore for us to give you money.
  23. I want to get a 7AT hero concept fully IC immersive roleplay team going, sticking as close to canon as possible. But herding two other players can be bad enough, so instead my personal challenge is to try and write it as fiction instead.
  24. I have a magic room in my tech base for the arcane members of my SG. I have the large bookshelf in there, but because it's not connected to anything, it's just a dull bookshelf. If it was connected to some arcane control, runes and energy would skitter across a field surrounding it. That's what the OP is asking for, same with holo displays that don't need to be attached to display, mega monitors and such.
