Wasn't there a Magic booster pack coming out?
And probably that Valkyrie one that Mac users get if they buy the mac version of the game.

There's 1 new booster pack (the aforementioned Magic booster) coming 'soon' (whenever that may be...could be tomorrow, could be when Positron physically explodes from eating an entire cheesecake...it's not something he normally does hence the explosion) and there's also the Valkyrie pack for PC users, the Mac version comes with it as standard.

DXP weekend is 23rd Jan and the next community event is Valentines. (I think there may be a zombie twist this year)
But Events generally bring new peeps
In April we have the 5th Anniversary - oh.. and did anyone mention I14?
Enough to keep peeps keen. So... nothing for a bit.

i remember reading an interview with Posi (but not where it was), and he mentioned that this pack would have content linked to the stage magician as well as the arcane. so my guess would be, yes. something like a fez probably some new emotes for using a wand and a pointy hat! we desperately need a pointy hat! (with stars on it) and perhaps even a robe

We need a robe with stars on it that's for sure. A trailing sparkly aura from the hands would be good too

Well the Mac Special Edition is avaliable in the plaync shop now, with a price of 15 euros, including a free month, the valkyrie costume parts and the mission teleport power I would consider it a nice package.
Not 100%ly sure if the free month is applied if you already have an account. Didn't check before I applied it to mine.
I don't really care either way tho
They normally do, if you bought the GvE pack when you had an account you got the free month applied at least

I applied it to my account, no problems at all. In other words: no need to wait.
Just don't click the option that says "create new account" ^^
Other than that the booster pack will probably only cost £5.99, of course. Wait a few weeks, save some money.

Get a free month with the pack out now tho. Which at it's current price is pretty much a month of gametime anyway.
Buy it now, get a free month and the goodies (as well as the option to play on a mac should you ever want to).
Instead of waiting two whole months, pay a fee and get no free gametime.
Seems like win-win imo.

So you can use the Cossie pieces and the temp power on you PC based alts right now?
Well, I am at work right now so I can't verify it until I am home, which isn't for another 7 hours, but it would really suprise me if the costumes were client specific rather then account specific.

I really should do something about this signature.
GR has already confirmed that it is account specific, not client-based (so, if you create an account on a MAC, and later, round a friend's house, log in on a PC, you'll still be able to access the game). The only question was whether it was actually possible to apply the code to an existing account or did it have to be used to create a new account. Sounds like upgrades work.

Coldmed you can apply your code to your account and get the perk items and one month of game time. It doesn't matter if you are playing on a Mac or PC, just go to the PlayNC link and follow the instructions on your current account.

Ok well the First Booster Pack - Cyborg I is out and I particularly liked it. The additions I felt were worth what you pay. Does anyone know if there are plans for more Booster Packs? And if so, when? Perhaps even what it is based on?
