More info on character selection screen

I've been away for the last 6 weeks and logged back on yesterday, to be faced with a list of characters most of which I'd no idea where I left them or what Auctions etc they had pending. So I was thinking it'd be nice to have a panel on the character selection screen providing some information on what that toon was left doing, such as :

* How many bids, purchases, items for sale and items sold the character currently has at Wentworths.

* What Zone they are in.

* What Day Job location they are currently at, and how close to completion they are towards that badge.

* Maybe a tab showing their Friends status, and maybe the Global Channel member lists (so you can see at a glance who's about for each toon).

Can i add sets? Yeah i know that sounds stupid but sometimes i create a hero just for name and look to use later, then forgot what was their sets.

it tells you what zone there in when you select a name as it appers under there name or unless you talking about just mousing over the name for the info appears then it would be a good idea or something to that nature

/unsigned - mainly because I don't have altitis so I don't see the need to put in the extra development when you could just log in and see. Doesn't take too long, surely?

I have 32 characters, being able to check what ones have items on the AH and day job completion would be a godsend.

About a minute per character - 30 seconds login/select/load and 30 seconds logout - so takes me nearly 2 hrs to check all of them. TNT helps, but day job completion % and a few other tidbits would be a massive QoL boost for me.

I often end up wasting 10 minutes checking a few alts before deciding which to play purely because of the amount of useful info not shown at character select (or in TNT).

The selection screen may tell you want zone you currently occupy but some zones have multiple day jobs but a progress bar of the current day job would be nice but can't see it happening anytime soon.

Given the way day job time is calculated, it's impossible, in the current itteration of the feature. It takes the time the character has been logged out, and then checks that against the location when you log in - if this location is a day-job location, it applies time to that day job. This is done at the time you zone into the game, not before, and so the character select screen simply doesn't know if you were in a day job location when you logged out.

The AH stuff would be nice, though hardly an essential.
As Shadowe says, the Day Job thing would be impossible currently.
The Zone is already shown.

That leaves friends status and sets.
Well sets would be easy enough, but you can get that from TNT, so again, not essential.

Access to your global friends list might be nice, perhaps on the server selection screen rather than the character selection screen. It has room to put a list up, and it lets you say 'aha! my friends are on Defiant, I'll log in there.'

Or they could just do what I do. Write down a list of all my alts, with powersets and update level anytime one dings. Because I have a terrible memory

(And have no idea what TNT is, other than an explosive or a delivery firm)

I do actually want to know, on the Character Selection Page before choosing which one of mine I want to play, which one of my friends is/are online and what characters (if not hidden) their are using. It makes it easier and faster to match them.

Also there is another suggestion I would like to make. It is more or less like adding a short post note on the Character Selection Page. On that post note, players can write about when they might be online and what do they want to do (tfs, sfs, trial, stories, etc). Everyone can see what their friends are doing if they so choose to post up a note and it may safe a lot of time switching around to match your SG friends and regular teammates.

used to be a tv station too

personally I'd like to have a bit more info in-game, rather than getting a piece of third-party software. powersets, maybe SG if any, or let us add a note to each character.

@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.
