SELL NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!

Oh, and I do believe that there is going to be a HamiO rehab clinic set up for those of you who may have been addicted to the drug.
  2. I'll be on Freedom tonight and will try to find you. Of course, before that, I need to roll with the cool crowd of Khelds over on Protector's KF event.
  3. the answer to that oft repeated question within superhero circles.

Specifically, I want to know the answer as it relates to my toons.

Who would win in a fight between AIB and Serene Servant?

AIB (with most recent build +5 enhancement boosted out)

    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...=266652&page=2

Serene Servant (with most recent build +5 enhancement boosted out)

    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=266653

    Regarding the fight structure...

Three 5 minute rounds with the following characteristics...

Round 1 - 1 vs 1 (No minions spawn next to Opponents at beginning of round)

Round 2 - 1 vs 1 (3 minions spawn next to Opponents at beginning of round)

Round 3 - 1 vs 1 (3 minions spawn next to Opponents each minute of round)

(Assume equal skill level of the person controlling the toons)

    Who gets the most KOs?
  4. Welcome to shadehood. I am glad to read of your plan to use various builds. If I can be of help please let me know.

My home server is Protector, wherein I have numerous 50s and a family SG. Serene Servant (my Triform PB) is currently in command.

My commander in chief, AIB (Triform WS AIB) is campaigning over on Freedom, as Stone mentioned, under the moniker, Honest AIB. Because of the forthcoming Kheld event, my stay there has been extended.

Those are the two servers on which you can find my toons. Though occassionally Captain AIB and First Mate Serene Servant are out sailing the high seas...

(I feel that another chapter is beginning to take shape...)
  5. Fantastic job once again.

The selected comments, midway through, set the stage nicely for the second half. The ending, too, had a nice touch...but about that I shall say no more lest I give away what I shouldn't.
  6. So, all Kheld STF this week?

I am glad that you were able to converse with him and hope that the information/clarification he provided will bring about an end to this Kheld on Kheld violence.

The next time you speak with him, do me a favor, and get his people to contact my people so that we can get together and discuss Kheld related issues.

The ATs have problems. I have solutions.

And I assure you the they are not extreme.

You see, there are two kinds of people in this world, those who divide people into two groups and those who do not. I would be a part of the first group and so, I suspect, are a great many of you.

There are people who get things right and there are people who get things wrong. But the interesting thing about those who get things wrong, is that they often get things wrong for the opposite reason(s).

It seems that it is the duty of the "progressives" of this community to continue perpetuating more, and greater, mistakes while it seems that it is the duty of the "conservatives" to see that the many, and often great, mistakes never get fixed.

This year, perhaps more than ever, our community requires compassionate, confident and competent leadership.

We need one who is able to clearly and effectively communicate comprehensive solutions to the ones who are ultimately in control.

We need the voice of common sense to address all of this not uncommon nonsense we frequently read.

And we need a Kheld who can bring change. Change for the betterment of our kind.

    In 2012, know that,

    "Abe is able!"
  8. As with AIB's Triform WS build, the new Kheld AT enhancements presented a nice opportunity for me to update Serene's build as well.

Because of enhancement boosters I will be able to augment enhancement values to bring them in line with what they were in my former builds, while gaining global stat bonuses.

I intend to make everything +5 eventually.

Once again, while I recommend that others make use of multiple builds, if it suits them, multiple builds do not suit me. I prefer to have, "One build to rule it all..."

The Reg Kheld AT enhancements go into Bright Nova Scatter with the exception of the Human/Nova/Dwarf stat boosting one which goes into Glinting Eye.

    Enjoy...

  9. I have not yet posted my most recent build for my Tri-Form PB, Serene Servant.

For now, go ahead and check out the following as it may be of some use. (Sorry can't look at your build at the moment)

    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=266653

If you wish, drop by Protector and I will gladly show you how I play her and answer any questions you may have for me.

I look forward to another great video.
  10. Nice work .

Of course, your opening words did remind me of this...

"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." - Nietzsche "Beyond Good and Evil", Aphorism 146 (1886)
  11. 1. You might want to use Eclipse first, when you have it available. You also might want to take down a weak enemy before focusing on larger ones to pop off Unchain Essence and pull out a pet for extra damage....when you get those powers...

    2. Yes...An MFing Warshade is a tank. An MFing Warshade is all forms at all times. I refer you to the MFing canon http://dechskaison.blogspot.com/2011...-warshade.html

    3. Defense is not as important when you have other abilities to keep yourself alive however it is very nice to have some defense. I have enough on my Tri-Form Khelds to Softcap to S/L and Psi by using vengeance or popping two small purples.

    4. Marination
  12. Yep, me too.

Have I overlooked the time of the event?
  13. AIB

    AIB's Build

The new Kheld AT enhancements presented a great opportunity for me to revise my build.

I have now emphasized damage by adding a number of procs.

I have acquired Shadow Slip (although I considered Nebby Form for the ability to put a 3rd BotZ KB enh) instead of Ebon Eye.

Oh, and all of my enhancements that can be enhanced by boosters...with the exception of Brawl's accuracy...are at +5. (So multiply the stats accordingly).

While I recommend that others make use of multiple builds if it suits them, multiple builds do not suit me. I prefer to have, "One build to rule it all..."

Or at least 99.9% of the content. Now, when it comes to soloing GMs, yeah, I'll still need to use Lore Pets.

The Kheld Superiors go into Dark Nova Emanation with the exception of the Human/Nova/Dwarf stat boosting one which goes into Shadow Bolt.

    Enjoy...

    Dear Kheld Brethren,

I ask that you do not mar this great thread by squabbling over a few enhancements. Going from pictures of AWESOME to discussions over minutiae, however jovial they may be, detracts.

I thank both you in advance for your understanding and compliance.

    Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    AIB

    P.S.

I commend both of you on your great shades.
  17. As a proponent of handling things in an orderly fasion I suggest we phrase the comment in this slightly modified fasion....

It has been properly moved (THB) and seconded (AlienOne) that there be either an enhancement or set of enhancements wherein accuracy, damage resistance and recharge receive emphasis.

All in favor please say, "Aye!" All opposed please say, "Nay!"

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    And to this I say..."Aye!"

I am in favor of THB's suggestion.

If elected I will strive for its implementation.

Now, regarding my "track record" concerning this exploitation discussion I refer the reader (i.e. constituents) to the following...

"For quite some time I have been aware of the Nuc Expo and recharge IO slottage of Eclipse. The reason why I do not slot it in that fashion is because I have read that it is a "bug" and as such I do not want to use that to my advantage. It smacks of exploitation. I know, I know what you are thinking, "One man's "bug" is another man's "feature." To each his own...well, at least until he/she gets "Dev Smacked." - AIB

"Yep, I know about that "bug" and I have never...utilized...it, not even with my Elec/Shield Scrapper. Let me know if you find the Dev discussion until they give the go ahead I'm not going to do it. Not even if my friends are all doing it. My parents always told me not to give in to peer pressure ." - AIB

[The storm has ceased. Night has passed. A new day has dawned. And yet, all is not well on board the War and Peace. The once brave and noble crew no longer speaks the lovely language of hope and encouragement. For now, because of impatience and bitterness (and also perhaps a touch of scurvy) they speak in words of hate and despair. Kheld on Kheld violence has once again reared its ugly head.]

High on the deck, Serene Servant raises her voice above the crew. She cries out, "Silence!" and is met with many sneers and jeers. One insolent rogue replies, "Why don't you come down here and silence me, wench?" Her eyes flash as she transforms, "And why would I need to come down there?" In a menacing tone she continues, "When I can shut you up from where I stand."

Suddenly, she is snatched away, teleported, down, down, through the galley and down into the Captain's quarters. She reverts back to her comely form. Standing at attention she remains silent as she gazes at the Alien in Black comfortably seated on a high backed chair in the center of the room. An amber liquid gently sloshes back and forth in the clear bottle set on the table before him.

In a measured voice he begins, "We've weathered rough seas and yet I feel as though my ship is still being tossed to and fro." His tone becomes more direct, "What is the problem dear lass?" (A deep, abiding, respect is evident in all their exchanges. And while there is, nothing akin to romantic love between them, it could be well said that these two, self-actualized, Khelds are truly of the same heart and mind.)

"The children are fighting again, sir!" she replies.

"Well, then," his voice hardening, "I suppose that I will have to come forth."

    (To be continued...)

I have the complete set at the Superior level. Sure, it could have been designed better, but I prefer it to the Posi set it has replaced. Of course, if we ever get the rumored 3 more enhancement slots then I'll be able to bring that set back.

    Good times.

    Dear Devs,

I want to be able to do this again.

    Thank you,

  22. I want it back too! If that means that I can only activate the power while on the ground then FINE!

    I hate the current animation.
  23. It was a fun, but very short, Kheld Friday.

Serene Servant adequately represented the side of light...However, it seems that her impeccable fashion sense was finally sullied by her dark brethren.

I think Warshades need to wear white next week to bring balance to the force.
  24. You know, you could call this your Cosmos build for the Chaos/Cosmos contrast.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmos

I see that THB just provided some worthwhile commentary.

Don't really have much to say other than...

The four slottage of brawl, boxing and kick, even if it is just for some S/L set bonuses, makes me cringe.

I am certain that this accomplishes what you designed it to do. However, I am very glad that you have two other builds for the rest of the game.

Oh and do not be be persuaded by THB's attempts to make you go away from your human only purist build.

If you took Dwarf and used it as a set mule you'd not be Human only and you'd not be Biform.

    Instead, you'd be BicuriousTM.
