AIB's Build
I have been around since Issue 3. I have appx. 25 level 50 ATs and several more well on their way. They are quite diverse. I have used every AT for more hours than I care to admit.
My favorite AT is my Warshade AIB. My second favorite is my Peacebringer Serene Servant. Both are currently Triform. I will never go human only again with AIB and I highly doubt that I will go back to that with Serene Servant. Biforms have never caught my interest and yes, I am well aware of the benefits that many of you would like to share with me.
AIB has gone through many respecs through the years; I estimate, 7-10. Serene Servant has probably gone through 15-20.
The build that is set before you is MY BUILD; if yours happens to be the same as mine that is fine. I hope it suits your preferences and your playstyle.
***The Slotting Order is NOT the Order in which I Slotted AIB. I generally get ST attacks to 3 slots ASAP and AOEs to 4 slots ASAP. My goal is a balanced build. The Levels of the Enhancements are not Necessarily the Levels of the Enhancements on AIB. You may have a different slotting philosophy and you may have different enhancements. That is fine.***
I build for...Recharge/Damage (AOE and ST)/Survivability/Utility. I can solo with ease but I have always preferred to team.
Ask me about specific selections and I'll let you know why I chose them or slotted them the way I did.
This is truely a MONSTER
Is see how you can do so many things
But please tell what is your tactics are when soloing
(I am assuming you like to solo AVs etc)
I can see that you tremendous damage in nova as well as dwarf

I'll share here the same comments I've already told you in game AIB...
I understand that you kept exemping in mind when you made this build, but I hardly feel it should be such a focus to you. Purple sets that offer resistance to exotic damage for 6 slots shouldn't be a priority on a level 50 perma eclipsed Warshade build in my opinion, especially since you're also making an effort to build up your s/l defense... If you didn't 6 slot those purples (and even Posi blast 6 slotted for resistance bonuses I assume.....You could still get GREAT numbers for those powers with 5 slots and keep the desirable procs) you would have more slots to focus on building your defense up higher...
Also, I am very fond of the approach Dechs took, since he also worked in a 6 slotted Dark Extraction in his build.. He was able to pick up the recharge bonus from Expedient Reinforcement being 4 slotted as well as 2 pieces from the purple set you have 6 slotted. Of course I haven't checked to see if the 6.25 recharge bonus would be a conflict on your build..
This is not to say that your build isn't effective. It clearly is very effective, as I have seen you perform in game more times than I can count in addition to the feats you've posted here on the boards. You are one of my favorite people to team with and every time we run our Warshades together it is great fun... I'm just speaking in terms of getting the most bang for your buck.
Edit: not sure if he's made changes to this build since he e-mailed it to me the other day... But if not here is the data link: http://tinyurl.com/3c9u69k
Once I got thos into mids I cam see even better what you did
This is an improvement of the buold i leveled up as
I called it Nova/Dward Max
I first rolled a kheld because i wanted to run/ fly/tp around in forms so i maxed out their abilites. I used human for sunless mire, stygian circle, eclipse, and double mired Quasar
It was awesome, even with SO enjamcements
Your build with multiple purps is even Awesomer
I just recemtly respec'd out of that into a triform i call human Max
Just for the variety
I will now go and use my second build slot and make a purple free version of your for when i need a break from my human max build ( it does require more mental effort to keep changing the tools on my kheldian swiss knife)

Often I summon an Extracted Essence. As long as I have the enemies attention I switch to nova and blast a bit...though if I don't have the attention I may switch to Dwarf and taunt them off my EE...while fire mire and smashing....when Sunless recharges I go to human and use it again.
When I get three EEs out I often just jump into the groups taunting with dwarf and attacking.
If EEs are surrounded by many occassionally I pop off Barrier just to protect them.
If I ever get into trouble which doesn't usually happen...or if I am getting Spammed by people saying, "Are you farming? Please, let me join you I N33DZ XP!" I can use Phase Shift and heal comletely with Aid Self. I can also use phase shift if I need to buy some time for a power to recharge (e.g. eclipse, or vengeance of course both of these are beyond perma so I usually don't have to worry about it.)
The use of Phase Shift + Aid Other along with the numerous attacks at my disposal allowed me to solo Shadow Cysts back when it was considered an accomplishment for one person to do it. (And yes...I destroy(ed) them alot faster than a Granite Tank).
I just took to the AV soloing thing. It seems that many on the boards have been wondering (some apparently for years) whether or not it could be done. So I decided to do it.

I don't really slot for exotic resistance. However, the ability to withstand alot of Toxic damage is certainly a great help on certain missions and TFs.
My S/L defenses are fine where they are for the way I play. I pop purples if I need to reach softcap (and I get more from killin').
One thing to keep in mind on both my Khelds is this...Look at what happens when I use Vengeance with either (and yes it is perma on both). Vengeance pushes AIB to softcap on S/L and Psi and one small inspir from softcap to EVERYTHING. This coupled with 85% resistance to everything, 300% damage to everything, numerous AOEs, and the ability to heal completely with a couple of dead enemies is why I can do silly things like....All Psi Farms.
I six slot sets for a variety of reasons, the chief being is that it allows me to reach my Def goals. I also just like the look of six slotting a power with the same set, and as you know purple enhancement bonuses work when you exemp.
Posi is six slotted in Nova Emanation not for the reistance but for the extra range. The Dam aspect of the Range/Damage enhancement is insignificant. But by giving it a bit more range it makes it easier to hit the maximum number of enemies it can hit plus it provides better synergy with the range of Dark Nova Detonation. I have dark nova detonation slotted without the Dam/Range Posi but instead I have used the +recharge proc which...when I fire this into a crowd of enemies, and typically hit the cap of 16(?) enemies, causes the proc to pretty much ALWAYS fire off. It does so over and over again and helps recharge on things...like...nukes .
2 or 3 respecs ago I had Dark Extraction slotted exactly as Dechs does. The thing that I believe you are overlooking is this...if I didn't have that extra 5% Psi Def from Soulbound I would not be hitting (i.e. going a little beyond) the softcap to Psi damage. I think that I have related to you the story of when AIB and Unregistered (an Elec/Shield Scrapper) (aka Hooch aka Hoochy aka ChickyWawa) on the day that GR was released took down the Honoree (AV) and His AV compadre. We killed the first AV then Unregi fell. I finished off the Honoree with 2 EEs in Dwarf...after I had used Vengeance. It was an epic battle wish I had a video.
Hope all of this helps. See ya in game.
And please do me a favor and put the data chunk for Serene Servant on that post as well.
Thanks.

Question
Vengeance, you need another player of course with you to be able to use it. Of course I can imagine you can just about get any low level to tag along for for vengeance bait if they are getting free levels and INF.
Or is there some other way your activating vengeance ? I'm assuming its the former but with Kheldians and how they are built you just never know, so I figured I would ask.

I have updated my build.
I have told some about it and I have had others ask about it.
In keeping with full disclosure I now re-release it to all.
Ignore it, criticize it, or use it. Whatever you choose.
Have a nice one.

With that slotting you need 6 Eclipse targets to go from 0-85% Resistance. You can get from 0-85% with 5 targets if you use the 2 Nucleolus Exposure and 2 recharge IO slotting, while retaining (or improving) accuracy values. You can 2 slot hasten and keep it perma, so you can use that extra slot for an End Mod IO in Eclipse if you feel you need it... Another option if you wanted to put the slot elsewhere is slotting Eclipse with 2 Nucleo's, 1 recharge IO, and 1 end mod IO. It'll still be perma w/ only 1 recharge but you'd want the second for exemping.

I have also considered moving a slot from Hasten to other areas of my build. I could get a a variety of small stat bonuses (e.g. S/L Def, Ranged Def, HP, Endurance) but none of them are valuable enough in my eyes to lose the extra seconds that 3 slotting Hasten gives.
Yep, exemping is something I regularly do and this build does it very well.\
See ya in game.
For quite some time I have been aware of the Nuc Expo and recharge IO slottage of Eclipse. The reason why I do not slot it in that fashion is because I have read that it is a "bug" and as such I do not want to use that to my advantage. It smacks of exploitation. I know, I know what you are thinking, "One man's "bug" is another man's "feature." To each his own...well, at least until he/she gets "Dev Smacked."

1. Well it's the same thing as slotting Enzyme's (-def) in defensive toggles for the higher +def values. I'm not 100% on this, but I'm almost positive that there was a Dev comment stating that they had no intention of changing how this works. Basically I think that they would have to <complex code stuff> completely re-make HamiO's, complex stuff, and there's no chance that it's going to get changed at any point.
The recharge IO's in hasten don't enhance the recharge of anything but hasten itself, having more slots in it doesn't benefit your global recharge- Once you reach perma hasten there are no additional benefits from enhancing the recharge of the power. Edit: Also, Hasten doesn't stack with itself. |
2. Without my Incarn Spiritual active and/or my Force Feedback chance for +recharge firing off, I don't have Perma Hasten. Although, I admit that it is rather easy for me to get my Force Feedback to fire off since I am usually fighting very large groups of enemies regardless of my level.
I am 1.9s from Perma Hasten at 50. If I remove the slot it goes to 7.4s. So it is making a 5.5s difference at 50.
But, whenever I exemp, don't I lose my recharge bonuses from my lev 50 sets (Posis and Oblits)? And if I exemp really low (21 or below I think) I lose those recharge bonuses from my lev 25 LOTG global recharges. I prefer the three recharge enh in Hasten for these reasons.
1. Yep, I know about that "bug" and I have never...utilized...it, not even with my Elec/Shield Scrapper. Let me know if you find the Dev discussion until they give the go ahead I'm not going to do it. Not even if my friends are all doing it. My parents always told me not to give in to peer pressure .

Even without Posi Blast and Obliteration sets, your Eclipse is Perma at any level at which you have the power, assuming your LOTG +recharge IO's are low level.
1. Wow, I guess you're just not cool. You don't even smoke, do you?
2. I looked at your build and your Hasten was perma 2 slotted w/ Spiritual Core Paragon- Which you had equipped, making it part of your build. 3. Without accounting for Force Feedback, your hasten w/ spiritual is recharging in 112s (120s duration) with 3 slots and recharging in 114s w/ 2 slots. Perma either way. Without Spiritual Core Paragon your Hasten 2 slotted misses perma by 7s. 4. You have a level 50 build. Unless you make a separate build using low level enhancements (I've heard ~33 is good) you are going to make sacrifices. Perma Hasten is a build goal aimed for high end optimization. 5. Even without Posi Blast and Obliteration sets, your Eclipse is Perma at any level at which you have the power, assuming your LOTG +recharge IO's are low level. |
2. I equip Spiritual Core...turn on Vengeance and the +recharge Force Feedback just so the folks who click on my build and look at the stats have the, "What the!!!" reaction.
3. Yep
4. I have no desire to put together a low level build. Instead, I have always preferred to have one build that can "get the job done" at any level. As a Triform it seems that my playstyle varies far less than other people's playstyle when they exemp. This, of course, is largely due to the "pick 2 powers get 10+ powers" Triform Kheld bargain. Oh, and I have alot of purple enhancements and a few lev 10 and/25 enhancements in places where they make sense because of exemping.
5. 4 out of 5 of my LOTG global recharge enhancements are 25. The one in Vengeance is a 50. I could probably drop this down to a...40...I'm guessing and still hit the softcap on S/L and Psi when I fire it off...would have to mess with the individual enh level in mids to find out though.
Late
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
I have updated my build.
I have told some about it and I have had others ask about it. In keeping with full disclosure I now re-release it to all. Ignore it, criticize it, or use it. Whatever you choose. Have a nice one. Just when I was about to delete my 34th lvl Warshade, this build is really nice if not inspirational. You should really create a guide that reflects your theories on the forms, common tactics to approaching combat, and maybe even a piece that discusses most hated enemies to easily defeated villains. Good luck & thanks.

2. There are already great guides that have been published (In particular, I recommend checking out AlienOne's Human only guide and Dechs Kaison's MFing Warshade guide). That being said, if you skim through this post as well as a few of my other posts, you will easily discover my theories, tactics, opinions etc. Better yet, you could come visit Protector and team with me to find out and witness more. Oh, and we have a Kheld Friday event every week on Protector if you are interested...

3. Thanks and you're welcome.
With that idea in mind, you could also include your Bi/Tri-Curious theories abe! Just for kicks

We know that it is LAW!
The new Kheld AT enhancements presented a great opportunity for me to revise my build.
I have now emphasized damage by adding a number of procs.
I have acquired Shadow Slip (although I considered Nebby Form for the ability to put a 3rd BotZ KB enh) instead of Ebon Eye.
Oh, and all of my enhancements that can be enhanced by boosters...with the exception of Brawl's accuracy...are at +5. (So multiply the stats accordingly).
While I recommend that others make use of multiple builds if it suits them, multiple builds do not suit me. I prefer to have, "One build to rule it all..."
Or at least 99.9% of the content. Now, when it comes to soloing GMs, yeah, I'll still need to use Lore Pets.
The Kheld Superiors go into Dark Nova Emanation with the exception of the Human/Nova/Dwarf stat boosting one which goes into Shadow Bolt.
Enjoy...
