Yup, most days if I am short on time, I cans still log in for a BAF or LAmbda. I can spend 30 min, and get some good rewards.

Quote:I thought that it was a decent movie . . . not great, but much better than the hate that I have seen posted about it. Reynolds was pretty good, but I still would have liked Nathan Fillion better. Reynolds seems like he is never quite serious enough -- he would have made a great Flash and will make a great Deadpool if that movie is ever made. Fillion can throw out wisecracks, but can be quite intense when needed.
Ryan Reynolds did a great starting GL. He comes off the same way in JL New Frontier movie, and in GL first flight. He is a cocky test pilot. Watch the movie The Right Stuff, and you will see the same caviler attitude in the first astronauts.
Also, if I listened to critics for my movie choices, I would never see anything good. -
I am of the opinion that shards should have been replaced with threads long ago. The shard system was nice, the thread system is better.
Make the WST drop a random Rare component. -
No way I will miss this!
As a not on the military turning people away, take a look at a movie made during the time.
"It's a Wonderful Life"
George Baily was rejected because he was deaf in one ear. In a time before albuterol, asthma was just as bad, or worse because it could kill w/o the aid of a bullet. -
My wife and I went to see GL this week, and we both loved it. Everyone seems to want every comic movie to be The Dark Knight, but that doesn't need to be the case. I saw DK in the theater, purchased it, and never watched it. The DK is too deep to be a fun movie, where as GL was just a fun movie. I wanted to have fun when I went to see it, not be emotionally challenged and leave in a deep funk. The movie was fun, that was all it needed to be.
My wife and I had a great time, and left talking about how fun the movie was. That was not the case when we went to see DK, that night we just left depressed. -
I think in one ustream a Dev said that they agreed not to take from the incarnate system for store items. So, we may never see those items in the store.
As for the OP, I like the trials. -
IIRC Arachnose, and Romans. They were generally rebalanced, but those and Warworks were the top ones.

/bind keyname cc_e X ccname
Keyname = the key you want to bind it to.
X= the costume slot number. Remember the first slot is 0 not 1.
ccname = the name of the costume change emote.
You can add statements and stuff too. Most of this can be found on paragon wiki.
Those who play on Virtue tend to memorize stuff like this. -
Quote:I am just courious if you feel the same way about the Fantasy MMOs that sell +X swords in their RMT stores? The problem is that this messes with game balance and bestows real in-game advantages to those who pay. This is the bane of every F2P game I've ever played, and it's one of the BIGGEST worries I have about Freedom. I've so far only ever seen one F2P game I've wanted to stay with, and I've played a LOT of them. If this game is to become another one, it should avoid "selling out" like that.
I have been thinking about this a lot, because I see you keep posting it. As long as what I can earn in game is better, I have decided I don't care what they sell.
With that: I would still pay for new Hasten FX. -
I think the costs are fine. I am willing to bet at least a few of those will end up in the Paragon Market too.
I agree some of the emotes, chest emblems, and Costume Changes just don't fit there. The rest, I am fine with. -

I am actually against it. The main reason is it would allow a really easy to use set/at to be played to 50, then swapped out for something broken. Elec/SD scrappers come to mind as an example. Both sets late bloom, but something like DB/WP is easy all the way through. So I could take DB/WP play it to 50, the swap it out for the uber Elec/SD.
Also consider the people who were like the old Winter Lord and AE babies. I would prefer to play with people who know their set, and their character from the bottom up. I have seen it in beta tests that auto level to 50. -
Quote:Oddly, I have made one before. It was not a metal one, but a latex boffer sword for a LARP customer. To be fair we don't know how he forged it if it really is a solid metal sword it probably had some heft to it. However that is not how I would build a sword like that. Ideally with any large and long weapon you want the tip to be light and your handle heavy, so that when you swing it your handle and cross guard act as a fulcrum point and your tip accelerates faster than your handle providing greater striking power.
Not to mention how kraptackular their "target" was.
Suffice to say large weapons can be feasible. However where you are and what you're fighting plays a large part of how effective those weapons are.
Also we are now done talking about "reality". At least until the US military comes out with a workable Ironman. We are talking about superheroes, in a videogame, it's just data being shifted around.
The only thing we need to be concerned about is straying too far and turning it into a joke. The weapons themselves and the animations will play a large role in whether or not we cross over that boundary. A boundary which is heavily influenced by our personal opinions.
I think it will be very interesting to see how this weapon set interacts with knock back, down, and up. As it well as mez effects.
It was about 6' long in total length, and I would never personally fight with it. I prefer short swords.
The rest of your point is perfect though. -
Quote:I am thinking the guy in the video has never chopped wood, used a claymore, a German Zweihänder, a great axe, or a maul. That is just to name a few weapons of that size. Sorry, but real history is full of weapons that size. Now, I can accept they were not used by people who are build like a 12 yo.Now that you say that and I think about it, I've never rolled something that fell into those categories. Medieval knights and samurai are at least realistic. Cloud's sword?

Yep, that's totally the same as a samurai, or knight. -
Quote:Wouldn't it be nice though if it did increase the animation speed also? Now, that would be cool.I'm under the impression that momentum ties into the recharge time of the titan weapons powerset. Each successive hit lowers the recharge time of the powerset down a notch building up to a full assault. Miss, get hit, or run out of End and then you have to start all over again.

I am not selling my house just because a bad element may be moving into the neighborhood.
I will be staying on Virtue. -
All I want is a new animation for Hasten.
-
I took it that VIPs get the new powers automatically, only f2p players had to pay for new powers. Perhaps a dev will pop in and answer.
-
I doubt that many people will really move. Some servers like Virtue have very dedicated communities, and it will not be worth reestablishing those communities just to get away from free players.

From the looks of the screen shots, it is the coming storm that has/will destroy it.
Pics here.
