Cool cause I've been playing on a east coast server for a long time without realizing it and I finally decided to jump into a west coast server.
Always wondered why people were dissapearing at like 5 in the afternoon my time.

Hehe, happens to me all the time, I live in england -
[u]West coast servers[u]
Champion
Guardian
Justice
Protector
Virtue
With Virtue being the fullest and the unnoficial RP server. Good luck as they are all good servers imo. -
Yeah I spotted this on the updater, Too bad I'm working that weekend.
-
Yeah I really only noticed this morning, fought Lusca in the waters of IP and to be honest, it felt weird lol, wasn't a splash, more of sploosh, I felt more like I was about to be flushed than actually splashing around in the sea

I found the broken image funny, myself.
[/ QUOTE ]
Haha, yes, seems to be directly indicative of the way some people think of i15.
[/ QUOTE ]
Lmao, same here, broken for me and I had a little giggle to myself when I saw it. -

I need to get boinked
[/ QUOTE ]
Hmm, me thinks where I come from that means a whole different thing than what you meant when you actually said it.
Or not, in which case, I applaud your honesty, and wish you happy boinking -

You sound like a casual player and that being said don't fool yourself into thinking you're gonna get rich off the market as a casual player.
[/ QUOTE ] I disagree. The market is simply the most effective way to make tons of influence. Spend about 5-10 minutes a day, at most, and you can make million after million easily. Even if you just log on a few days a week you can still make tons of influence, it will just take longer.
[/ QUOTE ]
This.
It gets dull because I myelf am a casual player and in the past I've gone weeks, sometimes even a month or two just spending all my limited playtime on the market, for me it was the most boring time I've ever spent on an mmo, but alas, 1 hero and 1 villain billions between them, can craft anything I need and now I'm covered red and blue side for all my toons forever!!
Simply log on, do your market stuff and play the game, before you log off go back to the market and set yourself up for your next log in, keeps your gaming experience varied and this is how I get by with all my toons now.
Good luck!! -
It's all a nemesis plot
-
Maybe he is refering to his mom, like "My Mom" but "MM" for short. So why did they nerf your mom? I have no clue, maybe she just pushed those devs too far this time . . .

Old "Head with pointy ears" cannot be recrated, and looks different than any current head/face with any current pointy ears.

We need to rush Paragon Studios and get Jay to give in on this...

I'm with ya, I'll hide in a food hamper, flip out and make 'em all pay!!! -
Learn the market, learn what sells high, what sells low, ,and at what times the market is at it's busiest, and it's quietist, learn whats in demand, what isn't. Once you figure all this out you can be a billionare, you will have lots of boredom but your inf will mysteriously fill with lots of zero's, be patient, discover the market and you will discover just how easy it is to make inf in this game.
Time & patience with the market = Billions of inf and boredom with the game lol, but you'll be rich so who cares? -
I play the markets, and pimp my cat-ladies.
Between the two I make a boat load of inf, homie. -
*Shows hands*
I didn't use my freespecs, but um, I never do, Infact I usually just do the respec trial and let my free/vetspecs copy over each other.
Freespecs are a boring method, respec trials ftw!!!!! -
If you go to the tailor you should see the parts to which pack you own. Also look in your powers and see either "self destruction" for cyborg pack, or "mystic fortune" for magic pack. the answer to this will answer which pack you bought.
The tailor will allow you to see the costume pieces, and also the character creator. I think this just about answers your question, but I could be wrong, since it's usually a 50% chance of that every time I think.
Magic pack

Still, I remember the early days of CoH, where you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a Hulk, Wolverine, or Tick clone.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh the good ol' days, of saying "hey, cool costume, please except my friendly advances whilst I secretly report you to a GM, BwAhHahAhahah"
. . . . .
Nowadays I still see a lot of hulks, kingpins, wolverine-wannabe's and cat-sluts. hmm, thinking about it the good old days are not much different from the nowadays -
If your on virtue look me up for this, I liked this trial and never see a lot of people running it anymore =(
Takenzo - Current alt taking my interest. -

This isn't city of Japan.

Ninja blades, ninjitsu, martial arts, katanas and samurai armor? I figured it was an MMO with lots of customization options, whether they be japan influenced or otherwise. Seems I was wrong, I bow before your god-like powers of perception . . .
More to the point irrelevant-boy, I was looking forward to an assassin/merc/deadpool-type character concept, and none of these are japanese concepts.
Point made, on to the next . . . So long, and farewell! -
My bald trench coat wearing stalker has this issue every time I use the tailor, as soon as the costume editing page apears, low and behold my head has the fury hair cut, and my v-cut/tattered trench coats tails are always just v-cut, I have to change them baxck every single time.
Quite frustrating, I feel yourt pain lol -
50 is by no means the end, I took 3 years to get my first 50 and I've purpled him out since then, and many 50's since.
You can still run all those contacts that opened up at 45-50, you have no debt worries other than how quick you can get the debt badge, at 50 you become kind of fearless and death means nothing, you explore more, you are a complete character with all your powers picked, all your slots full. You can work on getting the best inventions to only improve your character, you can offer help to lower levels, you can go no higher yet you have so much more to do.
Then there are flashback missions, retrace your footsteps and get what you missed along the way, trust me 50 is just another doorway, it is not the end of the line. -
I get the full vanguard armor on 9/10 of my toons so I've spent many an hour in the war zone, what I do is the following.
Always log off in the RWZ to eventually get the vanguard recruit day job badge.
Upon log in, run timed/paper missions or any arcs you have not completed in the zone untill your badge timer runs off.
Look for a team or make one yourself and don't leave the zone until you have 50 merits atleast.
Join or build your own mother ship raid teams, this is the single greatest way to get vanguard merits in bulk, with a good team you can net 200-300 merits atleast per raid
Or you can also do it the long and solo way, I've done it before on arcs and missions, takes me about 10 levels to get nthe full set or vanguard armor, thats 1050 merits. it is sooooooo tiresome and can completely burn you out but it's worth it if you get what you need.
All in all following the above methods and joining raids will get you thousands of merits in a few days, plenty of raid experience and knowledge of team dynamics in the RWZ, you'll know that map like the back of your hand when your done, you'll finish every arc and you'll get everything you want.
Good luck and don't worry, those merits will pile up and soon you'll have merits to spare. -
I really wouldn't start worrying about things we know nothing about yet.
I would wait until more details are out before making any decisions on what the content will be like. -

Khelds don't suck.
[/ QUOTE ]
This.
I think people unlock their HEATS/VEATS and expect some godlike ez mode toon, instead what we get are complex archtypes that actually require some thought to build and play, I mean, how rude? . . . .
Complex, not easy to learn in 5 mins, multiple choices, extremely diverse, jack of all trades, something for everyone, this was my first impressions upon unlocking my HEAT. They don't suck, they just require a brain and some time to get to grips with from my experience.
Khelds Rock. -
Space and underwater zones are things I think a whole bunch of the playerbase would LOVE to see implemented.
And I am one of those in that bunch.
I have to admit though I too am not a fan of the whole atlantis theme, something more original yes, but fish men from atlantis nooooooo! I'd go for fish women though, mermainds . . . . hot naked ones
>_>
