Booster packs, should i have one?
Go to create a new character, look at the costume themes. If you selected the magic pack, then there should be a magic theme generic costume in the list. Then you can play around and look at specific costume parts.
If you go to the tailor you should see the parts to which pack you own. Also look in your powers and see either "self destruction" for cyborg pack, or "mystic fortune" for magic pack. the answer to this will answer which pack you bought.
The tailor will allow you to see the costume pieces, and also the character creator. I think this just about answers your question, but I could be wrong, since it's usually a 50% chance of that every time I think.
Magic pack
Cyborg pack

Verify in your account status that the Magic Booster Pack is active on your account.
The costume items will be as follows:

With the magic booster you also get the Costume Change emotes. Verify any of those costume items at a tailor and see if your CCE emotes work.
If your account shows the booster as active and If they aren't in the game then contact support.

You can also look under the Powers menu. If you got the magic booster pack, in the Inherent powers section you should see a power called Mystic Fortune. This is only usable on teammates but provides some pretty nice buffs. Use it frequently!
You will also have access to fun emotes like /e jugglemagic and /e cardtrick. They are just eyecandy, but pretty nifty looking.
Freedom: Blazing Larb, Fiery Fulcrum, Sardan Reborn, Arctic-Frenzy, Wasabi Sam, Mr Smashtastic.
Thats what i was thinking also, but there is no "Generic" magic costume in the list of preset parts attached to a char. I'm thinking the pack wasn't applied or i missed something. Im just at a loss of what to do.
Yeah, i figured thats what i should see, but i dont. My temp powers are the same as if i didnt have the pack. Sorry for the double reply.
The easiest way to tell is to look in the powers menu for Mystic Fortune or to try one of the juggle emotes as Sardan mentioned
You need to verify in your ncsoft account status that it is indeed active then. You may have to apply the code manually, or it may be listed under codes that haven't been used yet.

You did actually activate the game you bought by inputting the game code, right?
Did you create a new account? Or upgrade a trial account?
I just checked my account and the only unused codes i have are for 2 trials for other ncsoft games. Again, i didnt buy the pack. There were 2 choices for packs when i created my account and i chose magic. I bought the Arch ED. of the game, could that have something to do with it? I've also searched my account for anything on the packs and there is nothing in reference to the packs. Should i post a ticket and hope it gets fixed?

Yes you should. If you used the game code and no booster pack was automatically included in the activation, and no secondary code was added to your account for activation then it is an issue that someone should address.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes, and go find your Architect Edition code that you used, because they're certain to ask you for it.

You may want to call customer support, recently i had a payment issue with a 2nd account and called them. I wasnt on hold very long and my problem solved quickly and efficiently.
Maybe this has something to do with the original purchase and selection.
If ingame ticket doesnt help, id make a phone call

Ok, so i've been playing this game for a couple months and i see people using the booster packs. Upon signing up and activating my account, i was given a choice of 2 packs. I chose the magic pack. Heres where im confused. Did i get the magic pack and if so where do i go to find out? I looked into it in the Q & A section and there are supposed to be costume pieces (witch or cyborg) in the inventory of parts, but i don't ever see any of them. Did i get the pack at all?
