Is it just me, or does the Helmet of Tartarus need to be lowered a few inches?
The Praetorian helmet for males had the same issue, where it sat too high on the head. -
Da **** is that game?

Quote:This.Question: Would your dopplegangers also have the abilities to summon dopplegangers? If so... DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
On a srs note, I was actually expecting this to be the Dark Control tier 9. A shadow version of yourself with dark powers rivaling your own. Then we got a dog :\
But anyway, doppelgangers being a power we can use would be awesome. -

The devs never gave a date as to when Staff was gonna come out before today. We wouldn't even be seeing Staff at all if it weren't for the Freedom business model. Just because something was put up on Beta doesn't automatically make everyone entitled to receive it the very next month. So, yeah, people are whining about not getting it nao.

CoH time is just a massive cluster f**k. I'm not gonna try making sense of it any more.
And yeah, Steel, I was incredibly disappointed there was no community event. With all the little CCs and crap they do, you'd think Zwill could've popped on and at least did a moment of remembrance thing in Atlas Park. -

It might be because while they were fixing one thing they accidentally discovered how to keep toggles on after log out.

Quote:Any power set that comes out will take over a server, even if they released two at a time. There's nothing wrong with that, though. It's just people playing with a new toy. Staff Fighting will be overplayed for a week or so, then die down to normal levels like every other power.I can't say I agree with the reasons given for delaying staff though. It was ok to release the two sonics and the two archery powers at once. I actually prefer powersets to come out in batches, so we don't see one powerset take over the server, like it did on Dual Pistol Weekend.

I just want Staff Fighting to come out so I can stop hearing people complaining everyday about it not being out yet. Fortunately that'll only be one more week.

Quote:See, that's another reason why I absolutely loved the new villain content we got with I22.There's already a metric butt-ton of groups that barely get any show time as it is. Goldbrickers, Luddites, Igneous, Scrapyarders and Dockworkers, Golems...
There's so much could be done with the existing mobs. I'd rather see decent writing and decent arcs than new 'flavour of the month' stuff slung in for no good reason.
One arc focused on Luddites, Gremlins, and the Bat'Zul demons.
The other had pretty much every criminal jobber in the game, and actually made them not seem completely lame.
Plus the new contact for the villain-side cape mission is a Goldbricker, and King Midas is the one that helps you with a rite-of-passage every villain goes through, where you smack down a hero and steal their cape as a trophy. Nothing forced, no anti-cape laws like the old mish. Just a nice little tradition among villains. So nice to see these groups the very few times they peek their heads out. -
I could see a villain popping up that sees Mutants as the future for mankind, and his plans involve the forced evolution of humans as he and his followers attempt to rule the weaker, non-inherently-powered humans. Kind of like Magneto, only much more villainous and hostile.

Recluse and the Patrons were always my favorite characters in this game.
IDGAF about the Phalanx. -

I really don't play that many characters to begin with, and only have a couple of heroes, one of which I rarely play as is. And the pose has a lot of a seductive, femme fatale dominance to it, which would just seem awkward to see my main, a robot, be under. If that bit of insight helps, at all.
Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing Robot get his butt kicked, so it's not like an ego thing. -
Is it just me, or does the art on that page look awkward?

It's a bug.
The devs didn't do as good a job as they hoped when they cleaned up all the content that shipped you off to Dark Astoria. -
-
Well I'm not normally big on asking for drawings or having attention on my characters, but if if you'd want to you can toss my rogue Blaze Charge under that heel. He's a bit of a selfish jack *ss, frequently flirts with women, never takes anything seriously, and is always finding himself in trouble.

Quote:Gotcha. I always just considered Magic to be another form of super power, to be honest. There are so many different outlandish and unbelievable sources of power, like super science and ridiculous technology, that magic really isn't that far fetched to me at all. And like most of the folks have stated in this thread, magic hasn't had a big chance to shine in the spotlight. After I22, I'm sure things will go back to being about science, tech, and the cosmic Well crap.Do you understand my position now? You don't have to agree with it. I'm merely asking if you understand it. Why give me the ******* lovechild of Dark Astoria and First Ward when you could give me a moon zone, a desert, the arctic, pseudo-Latveria, Atlantis, etc, etc?
But I definitely agree with you about Night Ward. Although I'd have preferred to see maybe a revamped zone as opposed to an outright new zone. Like getting Kings Row some decent content or something.
